We had a wonderful stay in that adorable hotel! It was very clean, cosy and so authentic arranged. Full of tiny cute spots to have a seat and relax and also am the pool area is so nice and allows privacy. The staff was so honest and kind, felt like home with friends. The rooms are really big and qualitatively furnished with an inviting bath room with perfect working shower (pressure, hot & cold). Prices for great breakfast as well as extra coffee and drinks are absolutely fair and below some bares in town (and well done)! The location of BV is also top as you have different small streets to walk or take by (motor)bike to the city center, laundries, massage spots, food markets, bars etc. Near by is a good rental station for car and motorbike (Pop). We rent both of it.

The room (junior suite) was very spacious and clean. The decor is Lanna modern and quite bright. Very comfortable seating area and lots of storage space. The Thai day bed was used for our grandson to sleep. There was a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a small terrace facing the busy pool. They have two pools, one smallish and one smaller. There is a bar at the pool. Despite being in front of the pool it was still very quiet in the room. Everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable ( firm) but the pillow was little too soft for me. We chose to not include the breakfast, and am glad, because it was a very small buffet with limited items and no egg station. There is secured parking but can only accommodate four cars. When we were there parking was always available. We arrived 30 minutes before check in time, but they cordially accommodated us. The location is good, a two hundred meter walk will take you to Loh Kroi road. To the left its a short walk to the start of the night bazaar area, to the right up to the old city wall there are very many restaurants, shops and drinking establishments. Loi Kroh road is also a very central location to take tuk tuks and songthaews to all the major attractions. A strong walker could also get to the Thapae gate (walking street) in about 20 minutes.

My only major complaint: is that during renovations they built up the floor around the toilet about 4 inches, leaving the seat rather close to the floor. As a senior I found it extremely uncomfortable and very difficult for up and down. Though I like the resort I could not stay here again.

What an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff were very accomodating and allowed us an early check in. Our room was a great size with everything you could want in it. The pool is a very welcome treat after wandering around lovely Chiang Mai. We didn't have breakfast there, but I am sure it would be the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. The location was great as you can walk to many places of interest very easily. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The only thing I can suggest is a rack outside to hang your wet swimmers. There is no where to hang wet clothes inside or out. Other than that, I could not fault this lovely hotel with its very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is really lovely, lots of greenery and old style Thai wooden building. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is one main pool and also a smaller one which is great to dip into if it is close to your room. The room was really a great size and all comforts. They had thought of just about everything: umbrella, torch, etc A great location too, easy to walk to old part and also the river. Close to everything.

It would be good to have a rack where you can dry your wet swimmers. There is no where to hang your wet clothes.

Beautifull green oasis close to the city. Most of the staff very friendly and helpfull, The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Water, tea and coffee in the room. Nice breakfast, choice of asian or western. Walking distance to old town. The restaurant wasnt open every evening ( I think due to low season), but the food we had one evening was good. Our daughter loved the swimming pool and the lovely ladies of the staff, she didnt want to leave. Same for us and we booked an extra night.

When we arrived the welcome could have been warmer. Also in the room the first thing we found was a list of prices to pay in case we would break or stain anything in the room. No other welcome or information about the hotel or environment. That felt a bit unwelcome. But as said above, the staff we met in the morning at breakfast the next day was so incredibly friendly and nice, this feeling disappeared and we were very happy at the hotel!

The swimming pool is actually beautiful Bath is beautiful and huge but did not take a bath! Nice wooden property with jungle vibe Close to the city center, restaurants, bars options but in a cozy/isolated part of Chiang Mai The hotel can arrange transfers if needed Suites room around the main pool is spacious and cozy

• They are only 5/6 sun beds located on the sun spot, others are quickly in the shadow so not enough • if possible, a small room with a treadmill to run with 1/2 work out machines would be amazing (optional of course) • « only adults » hotel would be nice as the pool is really close to the rooms and it can be very noisy/not relaxing chilling in the room

The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Night Bazaar and Old Town. A lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. There was some music from the bars one street over, but it stops around 11pm. You can barely hear it but it's there. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was small, but nice. They have 2 new warm, Asian dishes every morning so you get a surprise. Eggs, ham, sausages, and bacon are brought freshly made to the table after filling in a small questionnaire about what you want. We stayed in a suite and it was lovely. Lots of space! Separate shower and bath. Private balcony looking over the pool.

Breakfast: could have a larger selection. Fruit was the same every morning. Room: -There is only one mirror and it's by the sink where the light is not the best. A full body mirror in the room would be a great addition. -the bathtub didn't fill up. The drain wouldn't close properly. We didn't ask for it to be fixed since we just wanted to use it to soak our feet for a bit.

Hotel grounds and pool were stunning. Room was spacious and comfortable and the way it was set out was beautiful. Staff were exceptional - welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel was also in a perfect location, close to old town and night markets but secluded and quiet.

relatively central, nice pool (but cold!), nicely landscaped central court.

Depends on the room/building you end up in. My first room in the back building wasn’t very nice. If I were you I’d splurge and go for the higher category room around the main pool. Prices aren’t much higher but the rooms are much nicer (I did decide to upgrade). Overall the place looks tired and needs some maintenance, and it’s not as idyllic as some people write (lots of noise around the room bc of thin walls: other guests talking, toilet flushes, water pumps etc).

Calm and peaceful. Loved the teak decor and plants. Loved the elephant key ring gift presented at check out.

Curtains in the bedroom need to be thicker as they let in a lot of light at night. The staff were very helpful though and agreed that the security lights outside our room could be turned off at midnight.
