The peaceful and natural setting away from the main highway. I loved the wooden structures of the entire property.

No bus stop although it’s only a 10 minute walk to Maya Shopping mall and night spots.

As soon as we arrived at Ruen Come In we were greeted with a lovely homemade welcome drink and friendly faces. Throughout our stay the family owners couldn’t help us enough. They were exceptional from start to finish and it really felt like we were staying at a caring family home. Facilities were authentic and exactly as described. We really couldn’t rate our stay any higher and if we return to Chiang Mai we wouldn’t hesitate at all to stay here again.

what a beautiful place - from the minute you pull up at the Ruen Come In, you literally feel the stress lift off your shoulders. it’s a small, friendly hotel with beautiful teak wood floors, swimming pool, places to sit and read in the sun (and shade) and the nicest staff. we stayed three nights and I wished we had booked longer in Chiang Mai rather than return to Bangkok. Rooms were clean, bed super-comfy and breakfasts were delicious. The owner Mai has a farm and organic food is on the menu and amazing homemade peanut butter. astonishingly good value.

the only downside is that it’s a way out of town so be prepared for a 30-minute stroll to get to the Old Town - or download Grab and book a taxi and you’re there is seven minutes

Returning to ChiangMai after 20 years we wanted to relax and take in the historic sights and enjoy talking with our hosts. We were definitely not disappointed! Khun Mai and her family and staff welcomed us and went out their way to help us find our way around and enjoy our quiet times at breakfast and by the pool. The beautiful traditional style house and organic produce make this a very lovely place to stay.

It was private and very peaceful place to stay. We had a great stay to that point where we have extend our stay for another night. Very friendly and welcoming family so as the staff. Breakfast is always prepared with great flavours. The owners also does handmade products which are lovely.

The hotel & staff were amazing! the staff couldn’t do enough for you, always there when you needed something. The hotel itself is so cute and traditional, the rooms are spacious and the bed is so comfy.

The property wasn’t in the best location possible & the pool is not as big as it seems on the photos, it did need a good clean

Slightly out of the main hub of chiang mai

Great location just outside the old city. Everything was within reach and it was a quiet street. Breakfasts are amazing with a choice of Thai or English style. All staff were great and very helpful.

Pillows were a bit to firm for me.

The room was fantastic, the staff were amazing, location was outside of the city main area's, but plenty of choice Thai style around.. really cannot fault the accommodation.. if the pool had been operating it would have been perfick..

Unfortunately the pool was having some issues & it is out of season for Chiang Mai..

The beautiful buildings are set in lovely grounds. Each building is a different style, making the property quite unique. As it was originally a family home, it has a real homely feel. We were greeted by the friendly owner who was very helpful in explaining where to visit and booking taxis for us. She drove us into the city and then to the train station herself.
