Staff were very helpful and friendly. Always smiling. The natural surroundings are very natural - feels like you’re on a remote island. Room was comfortable and had all the expected amenities from a 4 star resort, and had a great panoramic view over the gardens and bay.

No breakfast buffet - understandable since it was the low season, but the fresh cooked food was delicious. They are a bit off the beaten path, but they provide a free shuttle to town with convenience stores and a few restaurants. Can’t really walk on your own though - the streets were a bit confusing for us.

Areas run down - but could be easily fixed. Bit of paint, bathroom renovation. Everything was functional but needed a bit of TLC. No real beach to talk of. I all felt passed it prime.

The resort was calm and staff really helpful and friendly. I'm glad they organized some free transport trips to local market and white sand beach, otherwise it would be really difficult to move around there without renting a scooter, which we didn't do with a toddler. We had ants in our room but the staff did their best to get rid of them in a short notice. Good breakfast. Free sup boards. Room well cleaned everyday.

The hotel and the hotel area is not the same as in pictures, which were taken probably 10 years ago. Little bit outdated. Also the hotel map is old. It promised a playroom, gym and restaurants. There were one restaurant where the quality of food and the price didn't match. Although the breakfast was good. Pool Area didn't have enough chairs (some customers were reserving them for hours without using them). The pool was bit dirty, never saw anyone cleaning it.

I have been staying in dozens of hotels, but this is the my first review. The Aiyapura really stood out for me very positively due to a number of reasons. The hotel is spacious and fits very well into the natural surroundings of Koh Chang. You can watch birds or local fishermen passing by boat. The hotel offers many free amenities like sea kayaks, paddle boards, a well equiped gym, table tennis, billiard, etc. free transport to local market and a famous beach. A lot of offerings for families and active travelers, everything easy to use based on trust. And I have never experienced a hotel team caring as much as The Aiyapura. Small presents for the kids, pick-up from town after getting lost, support with some medical issue, quick help with some repairs in the room, and much more. We stayed for two short weeks

This hotel is probably not for you if you want to be entertained, expect a club hotel, or have many shops and bars within walking distance.

A beautiful property with two beaches, a pool, a gym, a rec room with table tennis, billiards, air hockey, and lovely gardens and space for our toddler to run. Peacocks, monkeys and birds galore. The shuttle services were great to get out and eat elsewhere - very easy to book and use. The staff were so incredibly friendly, always smiling and saying hello, playing with our toddler, and offering golf cart rides. The bungalow was spacious, with daily cleaning services (working around our toddlers nap time). The restaurant has delicious food, and breakfast was incredible - with varying dishes daily. Also plenty of high chairs for guests with small children. We also loved the stand up paddle boards, just take and ride, no planning necessary. The beaches and water were great for swimming, especially in the mornings when tide was high. Can highly recommend and would easily stay again, no doubt!

I was concerned after reading some reviews here but honestly if you know you are staying in a secluded resort, then you will love it here! And the staff and owners are so passionate, you can easily overlook a bit of sand in the pool. I did not have the feeling that it wasn’t in its prime time - rather we had the best time on Koh Chang here!

This resort is away from the hustle and bustle of Koh Chang in a little private sanctuary crawling with peacocks. There are a couple of private beaches, free kayaks and paddle boards, gym facilities and pool. We paddled on the kayaks along a secluded coastline, stopping off to swim at isolated little beaches, no-one around. The rooms are lovely, we had a bungalow looking at the beach. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very accommodating. They offer a free shuttle service into the local market, White Sands Beach, and to the ferry at the end of your stay.

The restaurant was a wee bit expensive, and only had two vegetarian dishes so we only ate there a couple of times.

The resort has everything you need for a great relaxing time with the family - big well equipped rooms, walking areas, small private beach, restaurant with good breakfast and dinner options, activities - games, boats, pool. If you want just to stay in you can have it all, but they also offer transportation to White Sand beach and local market, big plus for us. Additionally the staff was great, always smiling, willing to help you, to give advice, to schedule activities (snorkeling for example). They also provided small gifts for welcoming or Christmas, what could you wish more!

Great stuff for sure - very helpful and caring. Hotel rooms very clean. Breakfasts are perfect - huge variety of meals from Thai and western cuisine. Kayaks and SUPs for free to rent by the restaurant.

It is far away from everything so you either depend on hotel transport or rent a motorbike. Even the hotel offers lifts by Melex within whole complex all is quite a distance to walk if you are in the rush. Hotel restaurant is quite expensive compering to other very good restaurants on the island. Low tides afternoon makes sea unable to swim or kayak at all. All people go to the swimming pool and gets very busy there. The creaking wooden floor in budget rooms is especially bothersome in the evening when others are already sleeping in the room.

The first row sea view room made us feel very relaxed and peaceful. Well designed room had everything we need. Delicious buffet breakfast by the sea which we enjoyed the view very much. The hotel staffs were very helpful and all with a good service attitude. There are also free kayaks and stand-up paddles for fun. Beautiful swimming pool. The resort area is quite large and allows people to wander around. There are also some beautiful peacocks roaming freely in the resort. Free shuttle bus to go the white sand beach area and local market.

Although the location is little bit far from main street but maybe it's also a good place to stay for a quiet vacation.
