Hotel was lovely, at the quieter end of Fisherman's village, meaning you had peace and tranquility, but only a 5 minute walk to get to the heart of the bars, restaurants, night markets etc. We had a ground floor superior double room - beach front. Had everything we needed; wi-fi, large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, ample storage, tv, fridge, blackout curtains and air con. Opened onto a balcony with furniture and then straight onto the lawn which was then straight onto the beach. Lovely swimming pool - not big, but enough to relax and cool down. Bar and restaurant on site. We had breakfast included and also had lunch sometimes. Staff were really lovely and they provided lots of info, maps, etc about the island and what you could do. They also had a library where you could borrow books. Hotel had a laundry service, but a lady and her husband about 20 metres to the left down the road offered a service and we used that. It was great - hand your bag in and you get it back the next day, ironed too and price was very good. We also found a fabulous restaurant called Happy Friday's just beyond the laundry service. It was like eating in someone's house, but he staff were so lovely and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We also hired a car for 3 days when we were there from one of the tour operator agencies and that was good to get around the island, as be warned, the taxi and street bus prices are really high and despite the bartering everyone does, they all seem to charge the same prices and difficult to get those down by much. Up to that point, we spent quite a bit on taxis, which we weren't expecting. We visited Silver Sands beach/Crystal Bay, which was beautiful but absolutely packed, so not very relaxing. We also found another couple of beautiful beaches - Thongson Bay which was stunning and Taling-Ngam beach, which was gorgeous and only about 10 of us on there.

Being on the ground floor and near to Reception, it was sometimes a little noisy in the mornings, but didn't spoil our stay. The only aspect that was a little disappointing was the beach at this end of the village. It's quite narrow and the water just wasn't as clear as it was further up the beach where most of the hotels and restaurants are based. So whilst we stayed there on the hotel loungers for the first day or so, we didn't really use it much after that.

Lovely hotel our room faced the beach on the ground floor and only a short walk to the fishermen’s village and the fabulous market where you get great street food and cocktails Opposite the hotel is a great small pop up bar run by a fabulous couple great for a night cap The room was clean and all the staff were friendly The breakfast was a choice each morning eggs toast fruit or Thai breakfast Lovely to sit on our terrace listening to the sea we will definitely be back

Sand bags in front of the beach but we understand why they were needed as there had been bad storms and the sea flooded the gardens

Small beachfront hotel in great location in quiet street just a few minutes walk from the bustling Fisherman's Village restaurants, bars, shops and night markets. Very good accomodation with recently renovated bathroom. The beach was nice enough it was possible to do a long walk right to the far end of Bohput beach. There was enough sun loungers for the guests and a nice little plunge pool to cool off. We ate only one lunch and it was good.

Only request would be a full length mirror in bedroom. And some insect spray. There is a shallow rocky reef immediately outside the hotel so you cannot swim there at low tide, and need to go 100m further down the beach toward the old pier.

The location is perfect and close enough and a short walk to Fisherman’s Village and the night market. It is in a quieter area, which I appreciated. The garden out front of the beach added to the beautiful views here. The staff are super friendly and Shy at the front desk was so helpful, friendly and a pleasure to have met. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting a quiet and peaceful place to relax and soak up some sun.

The shower in rooms on the ground floor could use an upgrade or better drainage. The water doesn’t drain very fast causing the floor to flood and I had to be careful not to slip with all the water. The other consideration is the air conditioner on the ground floor did have a slight smell that the other room did not. Nothing major though.

Perfect hotel, we can 100% recommend it. Very quiet and relaxing, yet super close to Fisherman’s Village (5 minute walk), where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast and the bar were great. Beachfront room was amazing: directly next to the pool (open 24h)/bar. We loved sitting on the small private terrace in front of the room under the palm trees, relaxing and listening to the waves. There is also a scooter rental directly outside the hotel, which was very convenient. Along the whole coastline towards Fisherman‘s Village, this hotel was the only one with palm trees and grass so it was very beautiful ans not so hot. The others had lots of concrete, so we were really happy to have chosen this hotel.

The beach is beautiful to look at and great for a walk to/from Fisherman‘s Village, but the water is not clear and as warm as the air, so not inviting for a swim. The infinity pool is superb, though, and open 24h.

Very nice location in the main street of Fishermans Village, 2 min walk from bars and shops. Lovely garden with a pool and a private beach. Very good breakfast with different options to choose from (including original thai breakfast). Very kind and helpful staff. Would definetly come back!

We were here in the raining season (low season) that’s why maybe there was not so much action at the bar in the evenings. To enhance the experience, I would also have some small weights outside for those who like to exercise looking at the beach.

The view and the location. The hotel is almost on the beach. Book a hotelroom looking out over the sea and you won’t regret it. And you’re close to the hustle and bustle of the village but far away to don’t hear anything. Pool is mainly in the sun, a good spot to read a book. And I recommend the kitchen! Very tasty.

The garden is a bit run down and the sun chairs are a little old but that’s not a reason not to stay here. They told me they are closing up for 7 months. Can’t wait to see what it will turn into.

Lovely hotel - we have the executive double beachfront room and it was large, spacious with lots of storage. Hotel was ideally placed just at the end of the Fisherman’s Village and all staff were so lovely. We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast in the hotel (they kindly put together a breakfast box gor us). A shame we couldn’t stay longer as it was a great place to stay - the market is brilliant with lots of stalls selling goods and delicious street food.

The location and value for money of this property is all you need to know, virtually on the beach, a 1 mins walk from all the bars, restaurants, market and shops of the lively Fisherman's village and very decent rooms.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was not a self service and whilst the quality of food was fine we would prefer a greater selection and be able to choose our own food rather than off a selective menu. This would not put us off going back though in any way.

The penthouse suite was a fabulous size and perfect for our needs. the loft suites were also rather nice and the twin rooms were well appointed. it was great value for money, situated right on the beachfront with a small, cool pool and shaded cafe/ bar area. Our rooms had balconies and full or partial sea views. The breakfast menu was incredibly generous with a few options, we particularly enjoyed the Chinese fried rice with and egg on top and also the French toast with banana on top. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. When we stayed there was a cocktail van situated over the road every evening.

Road noise at times, but this is the quiet end of the road and is one way. Friday night had salsa dancing over the road until the early hours - it was lively
