Had a great stay, don’t really understand the complaints people are making. The staff were nice, even helped us with a smooth early check out before our flight. The room itself was clean, good to have a refrigerator. Spacious enough for two people. Also the location was perfect, close to the beach, 7-eleven, restaurant and night marked. Ac was working good, had some good nights of sleep there. Really good value for the money. One of the best places we have stayed in during our trip.

Was one time we put out the cleaning sign and no one cleaned our room that day, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. They cleaned our room the rest of the days during our stay

I was unsure about this place because of so many hit and miss reviews. I don't know what for, the place is great. Yes, the room is small, but I don't mind and it's cheap and easy to keep tidy with enough room to put everything out of the way. Yes the bird is fairly firm, but this is common in Asia and no uncomfortable at all. Yes, there is a roadside restaurant next to the hotel and the room I was in on the ground floor backed onto it. Some nights there is some noise from the talking and music. What I found funny is it was inconsistent and I could never pick when or which night it was on. But honestly, it didn't bother me and I slept fine. As for the reports of ants, I saw none in my room. Room was modern, tidy and everything worked. Reception is across the road from the accommodation in a building that houses the competitively priced and pretty good quality café. What I like about this is there is no reception in the apartment building and nobody bothers you. You are left alone and it is very private. Shower and bathroom were great.

The AC was a bit of a mystery and seemed to have a mind of its own the first couple of nights. I actually thought it wasn't working at first. The previous person had it on some weird setting and after some fiddling with the remote I got consistent cold air out of it, which is what I wanted.

A really tiny (but modern, clean and very well equipped) single room in a nicely decored building, not far from the beach (nearest public access within 10 minutes walking). Photos published on Booking.com are absolutely realistic, at least for the single room and for the public areas I saw. Safety box, Fridge, Aircon, Smart TV, free WiFi, all these facilities were provided, as described on Booking.com. Coffe and water available free of charge, 24 hours, at ground floor. No lift available (but the building is only 4 floors high). NOTE: Real single rooms are usually very rare. In Asia a solo traveller can easily get a bed in a hostel (that automatically means with shared bathroom) or need to pay for a full twin/double room (to be used "for single use", usually with NO o very small saving). Baan Poon apartments is one of the few exceptions I came across.

Sometimes it happened that the housekeeper did not notice my request to clean the room, so I had to ask for it at the reception. This was a very minor issue for me. I am just reporting it to write a complete, and honest review.

Place is as described, very comfortable and has everything you need (we stayed at suite executive). Location is pretty good - pass through Verticolor hotel and enter Centara and you're at the beach in 5-7 minutes on foot. 15-20 minutes walk to the main party area, though it's easy to catch a Songthaew on the main road. Definitely try roti from their restaurant, it's great! Staff is amazing and helpful and solved any issues we had very quickly. All in all,great value for money - recommend!

Great location and super helpful staff. Deluxe room is ok, cause it has space for everything even it has a small table. But I don’t recommend Standart room- it’s super small, there’s no space even to put your luggage 😂 Anyway all rooms are clean and pretty modern. So it nice option for short stay. For long stay Garden is better and more comfortable.

The standard room on the 3d floor needs a renovation of canalization in bathroom, cause water in shower drains very slowly…

It's super close to the centre, but the way to walk there is really awful (very busy and no sidewalk at all).

Very nice & quiet apartment condo, I had an issue with the safe and the staff came quickly to help. Nice management and the staff was wonderful, room was super clean and huge room, mini market and nice restaurant very near I would stay there again!

Good location, comfy bed, lots of space and storage. Plenty of tea and coffee and bottled water which was a nice addition.

Our room had no natural light so it was quite dark. There was a window that didn’t shut in the bathroom and there were people talking by it all night and since it was right by the road, the cars made lots of noise, so it was pretty loud. (but I’m sure if the window did shut the noise wouldn’t be bad)

staff are extremely friendly and helpful - it is like they become your family for the time - always there with a smile and a helping hand whether it is hotel related or any other help you need to make your stay comfortable
