Really enjoyed stay in the 'luxury' suite that had huge room, patio doors, fantastic patio and short path to endless beach. Great AC if needed, and facilities like fridge, coffee cups, furniture and small desk etc. On the patio there are even dishes and an outdoor propane stove if you want to try some cooking or do a BBQ! Delightful place for morning coffee/breakfast, with small vendors nearby across the street. One restaurant nearby (100m), though if you take a 1km walk down the beach at sunset, there are a half dozen beachside restaurants to choose from, which we did every evening during stunning sunsets on this relatively quiet beach. Rented motorbike, arranged trip to nearby national park, and got shuttle to airport

A bit off the beaten track which we actually sought out, though if you want to be in the middle of the action, stay at Chaweng! This is a local vibe, which is exactly what we were looking for on Samui.

We really enjoyed our stay here, despite me being lightly bitten by an overly playful puppy on Bang Por beach. The family who run the place were fantastic and took me to and from the hospital to get my additional rabies vaccines which was super kind of them. The bungalow we stayed in was so much bigger than we expected! The bedroom had plenty of space and then there was an added kitchen area too. Across the road from the resort was a lovely place to eat too called Hom Chana which made getting meals really easy. The resort was in a very quiet area of Koh Samui which made it very relaxing. The family also helped organise our trip to the Mu Koh Ang Thong Islands where we stayed following our stay.

Not a criticism of the place, but some advice for other travelers - it's expensive to get around Koh Samui by taxi/grab/Songthaew. Around 400 baht just from Seatran Pier to resort. Luckily the hosts provide a pickup service for only 300 baht! Therefore if you are traveling around the island at all, it would be good to get a scooter or bring a car from the mainland!

Bang Po is beautifully located. The bungalows are set out on the beach, you're never more than 10 seconds away from the turquoise water!! There's a good European restaurant two minutes walk on the beach and a traditional Thai restaurant on the main road. The bungalows are wood and bamboo and raised on stilts, mine had an outdoor kitchen as part of my balcony which was lovely. The trees and shrubs are well maintained outside and it has the feeling of being amongst nature, although it is set back from a very busy road so can be noisy during rush hours. The facilities were good but my only criticism is that they need a good paint inside to look fresher and cleaner. There are two beach dogs, Jessie and Speedy and they are beautiful and friendly. They hang around and if you feed them will adopt you for your stay🥰

If you want luxury then it's not the place for you. The price doesn't reflect the standard of the bungalow but the location makes up for it, cannot fault the location at all 10/10.

Friendly staff. Good location on the beach. Restaurants and shop 15 minutes walk on the beach. Sufficient bottles of water provided. Good price/quality ratio.

A few hours before arrival we were informed that the bungalow we had booked was downgraded from a location close to the beach to a location close to a busy road. But we had no choice: it was late and we were tired from traveling. The traffic noise was very audible at night. Only the following day after 6 p.m. were we allowed to enter the bungalow close to the beach that we had originally booked. It was very disappointing for our first day in Thailand.

Literally right on the beach, so perfect location for us. Beach towels and normal towels were provided. Nice veranda to sit and relax on with lots of beautiful wildlife; birds, butterflies, geckos, (small and large) around. Lovely restaurants nearby; just along the beach (less than 100m) and another just across the road We arranged for our clothes to be laundered, which was reasonably priced and all delivered back, washed and pressed. The owners also offered and took us back to the ferry for a reasonable price. Fridge provided along with a gas ring should you want to do some basic cooking. Whilst the bungalow was basic and a little worn, we really enjoyed our stay.

The shower wasn't very powerful

Bangpo Village sits right on a beautiful, quiet beach. It’s not even a 2 minute walk to the shoreline! The houses are quaint and comfortable, and there is a kitchenette space outside that you can cook for yourself if you so choose. The rooms have air conditioning and fans to keep it nice and cool during the day. We rented a motor bike as we wanted to explore the island a bit, but there are restaurants and markets within walking distance! The family who run Bangpo Village are incredibly lovely, and arranged for transportation to and from Bangpo Village. It was so nice to talk to them and hear a bit of history about the property. This was a lovely place to stay!

As the houses are a little older, there may be a bug or two that creep into your beach house. On our last night we were packing up our things to notice a fairly large spider crawling around. My partner was able to easily get the spider back outside, but if you really don’t like bugs, make a note!

I was in love with my stay at Bangpo Village. The villa is RIGHT next to the beach, which was beyond gorgeous and not crowded at all. There aren’t a lot of businesses or shops nearby, so if you’re looking to get away, this is the place to go. If you need a little more adventure in your life, there’s nothing that a motorbike rental can’t fix. The villa was clean and had lots of amenities- a kitchen area, a fridge, outdoor wash station, along with a good sized bedroom and bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Besides all that, the property manager was beyond accommodating and kind- one night, my sister got bit by something in the ocean and not only did the manager help to make sure the wound was clean and that we didn’t need to visit a clinic, but she also came by later to apply a homemade remedy and gave us extra to use in the morning. We felt so taken care of and loved our time at Bangpo Villa.

The shower pressure was not very strong, but other than that everything was perfect.

The hut was situated 60 meters from The Beach. in all Roms. Big shower/toilet. Soft close lid and two showers; one with hot water and one very power Full with cold. The hut situated 60 meters from The Beach which I Will consider 5 star. pure sand and 2 meter out ot is like powder. Sun from Sun rise to sundet. very few people Place to wash your feet before entering The terrasse. beds not god and just acceptable considering The Price. Nice veranda with table and two confortable chairs and a big outdoor madras completely in The shade but from time to time occupied by a friendly dog.

Place a little een out, but could easily be shoned up for few money. Paint makes a mirakler and a few Places The Wood work should be changed.

It was absolutely perfect! A beautiful elevated Thai style bungalow with an enormous verandah, complete with dining area and two daybeds overlooking the beach. Inside a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a huge kitchen with a powerful two burner stove, pots, pans and everything needed to enjoy a meal. New, clean spacious bathroom with ample hot water. Fast internet. Staff replenished drinking water and emptied rubbish daily and our sheets were changed every third day. We thoroughly enjoyed our 22 night stay at this family run business. They took us to the airport and we will definitely return to Bangpo Village on our next trip.

The family run place was beautiful and the family could not have done more to welcome and help us enjoy our stay. We would have loved to stay longer- but other islands beckoned.

It was in a beautiful area along a very secluded part of the beach, but that made it a bit difficult to access amenities. The family drove us to wherever we wanted to go however.
