The room was weml furnished and in a good state. It was in a calm neighbourhood. The beach was just in front of our pool, which was pretty quiet and far from being crouded

The staff ( apart from the receptionist lady) was not so friendly nor professional. The breakfast was not well served and we had to ask them at each time for every single thing that we need, as they do no automatic refill which at some point got embarassing. Fruits, yogurts and drinks were exposed to the sunlight since 8am and so were not fresh. The air conditioner in the room was poiting at our head.

From the personal to the room and location itself very very nice. You not always see such friendly stuff. Reception is quick, friendly and make all you wishes come true. The restaurant staff und der Barkeeper itself is also very friendly and the drinks are phenomenal! We cleaned our room just once but the housekeeping is taking his job with heart and do so many small details in cleaning that I was very fascinated about it. I’m working in a hotel and I can say that I look very closely on everything. I must say everything was more than perfect! We will come back for sure and for longer :)

Everything was perfect! The owner and staffs are amazing people. Room was very comfortable, right at the beach, very clean. The owner takes very good care of the customers and gives very good suggestions about how to get around Koh Samui. Excellent service & wonderful place for vacation.

Nothing at all.

All staff were outstanding particularly Pat and Ouiee (spelling is probably incorrect). Breakfast was nice (best caffe latte I found in Samui). The building is 3 years old and hardly used due to COVID. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower and toilet have glass doors so you will have no privacy from your partner. If this is an issue, this is not the place for you. The beach is just metres away from the room past the plunge pool. The building is next to the link road however there is not a huge amount of traffic and it is quite sound proof. I occasionally heard passing scooters but never at night. They have a canoe and stand up paddle board for use free of charge and also rent out scooters. The beach is nice however the water is not very deep. It is much deeper further east. I was told that the water is even shallower in March/April. It is not a particularly busy area compared to Chaweng or Lamai however there are several nice restaurants along the beach. So if you are after a quiet holiday and can afford the price, I highly recommend the White Whale.

There was nothing for me to dislike.

The entire stay was fantastic. The rooms are exactly as displayed on the pictures. clean, extremely comfortable beds and modern setting with all kinds of facilities from large tub, espresso machine & more. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. delicious food. Excellent for relaxation. The manager was extremely cordial & truly welcoming.

5 Star feeling ✨ We absolutely loved our stay at white whales! It’s the perfect boutique style getaway for a honeymoon or other special occasions for 2. the suites are small but have everything you need to spend some quality time together - the private pool and the view as well as the direct access to the beach are the absolute highlights! Also the a la carte breakfast was just amazing and ofc the super friendly staff that was always trying to accommodate every wish! We also ate twice in the small restaurant - first time was our absolute highlight with the best food we had on the island.

Only downside and very sad is the trash that gets to the shore along the beach every morning - sometimes it gets cleaned but not regularly. the second time we had dinner at the restaurant was not as good unfortunately. Also the waiting time was too long (one of us finished starter + main before the second one got anything).

If you're seeking a tranquil escape for couples in Koh Samui, the White Whale Beach Resort should be at the top of your list. This serene gem offers a perfect setup, breathtaking room views, and a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to unwind completely. One of the standout features of this resort is the impeccable room setup. Room that overlooked a private pool and the mesmerizing ocean beyond. The scenery was simply breathtaking, making every moment spent in our room a true delight. It was evident that the staff took great pride in their work, as our room was consistently perfectly made, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The resort's location is a major advantage. Situated in a quieter part of Koh Samui, it spared us from the hustle and bustle that plagues other tourist-heavy areas. Here, you can truly have a peaceful and romantic holiday, away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast was included in the package. The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of dishes, complemented by great coffee. We cherished our mornings here, with a fantastic view. Additionally, the resort is conveniently surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance, right along the beachfront. (I will be reviewing some of these separately.)

However, there were a couple of aspects that piqued our interest during our stay. The water temperature in the shower was somewhat binary, alternating between scorching hot and cold. While the room featured a gigantic bath, we hesitated to use it as it seemed like it would take hours to fill.

Everything about our experience at white whale was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist with tours, taxis, breakfast and checking in. The villa itself was amazing and is exactly as described in the photos on booking.com. The views from the villa and your own private pool were amazing. The location of the hotel is 30min out of the main tourist area, but we found that the restaurants around white whale were far better and considerably cheaper. Highly recommended this hotel

Staff super friendly and helpful pillows changed first day due to my allergies, even brought a selection of alterenative pillows for me to choose from great sea front views and quiet location private plunge pool was great great breakfast options right next door to the room excellent choice of restaurants along the beach front

i still had an allergic reaction (my partner didn't). It's really my problem with my senstivie skin but i am thinking it was something to do with the air conditioning? Apart from that, can not fault the trip, it was fantastic.

Location location location ! The pictures don’t do justice to this incredibly beautiful property that has the most gorgeous beaches and sunsets . There are numerous high end bars along the beach , yet the villa and beach feel secluded . The staff are very attentive of the needs of their guests . Pat and her team do a very good job at keeping the guests comfortable. We were even offered an early check in along with a private massage in our room . The breakfast is really good and oooh the cold coffees are too good ❤️
