Beautiful hotel, excellent service, delicious food, fantastic spa

$80 for breakfast for our son, $80 for a massage (generally VERY affordable in other areas in Thailand), the beach is terrible -- coral comes right up to the beach, so you can't swim -- but, there are ZERO fish/sea life in the coral, so snorkeling was also terrible. Fantastic resort, but not if you expect to be in the ocean.

An unforgetable experience… an oasis of natural beauty and top services. The beauty of the resort cannot be described into words, perfectly blending in and enhancing nature’s wonders. About the services: “chapeau” - every single person in the staff is there to make you feel good, pampered. The personnel is super well trained, extremely polite and nice with the kids. We had the best breakfast ever, felt like every dish and ingredient was especially curated so you cand enjoy best of the best. Great food in both restaurants, congrats to the chef and the teams there. Sparkling clean rooms, cleaning person came even 2 per day to arrange and clean the room. You made our stay a great one! ❤️

Very nice resort and landscape, view on the ocean are priceless, staff are very professional and attentive

the beach villa is very nice but unfortunately not cleaned properly. we did show the management team on first day, but when leaving after 6 days the room was still full of dust and not cleaned, and many details not updated, broken vase dirty garden walls, dirty outside shower, no covered outside sala, the Italian restaurant on the beach is very disappointing

Stunning location, where we stayed in a beautiful and spacious room with a wide view of the sea and the setting sun. Staff, especially Mr.Kay, were friendly and helpful with any of our requests. Breakfast was excellent with a lavish selection food for anybody's taste. The resort has several pools, of which we used the very nice beachside pool.

Moving in the main building between our room, the breakfast room and the reception was tiresome because it involved climbing several staircases. Given the terraced building structure it is understandable that lifts are not available, but escalators would have been useful.

The most beautiful location ever. A view to die for. Our room was stunning, the food, lobby, pools and facilities were great. The staff were so polite and helpful throughout. Especially the breakfast room staff, M at the beach bar and Dome looked after us. The two singers came to the Flames restaurant and sang our favourite songs. It made our last evening all the more special. This has now become my favourite hotel worldwide and we would love to return

Incredible breakfast, beautiful ocean view room with special touches including complimentary fruit platter and an array of pillow choices! The private balcony with large sofa was perfect for chilling. Amber restaurant and Flames restaurant were both exceptional. The pool areas were pristine and amply stocked with towels plus complimentary water and spf50 sunscreen. The staff were always on hand to drive us around the site as we needed. A wonderful stay as a special treat.

The views are great, hotel is located pretty far away from cities, centre etc., there is really quiet out there. Hotel has very good service and staff training. Enjoyed the spa!

Prices at the hotel are higher for food and drinks comparing with other hotels on the island, the beach is very small, no walking there, also we were for christmas and the sea everyday was pretty dirty with different stuff, also had plenty of tropical rains, but then we went to the other hotel on the island and the scene was different, so I think thats the location issue. Also got a food poison at the end (last night), but thats probably Thai thing, my wife was fine.

Amazing view - if you like sunset, this location in Samui is second to none. You can watch from beachfront, pier, their bar. Trust! Attentive staff - the staff knew we had a birthday during our stay, and left a birthday cake and message in the room (complete surprise, no additional costs or claiming credits), want you to know that we really appreciate this gesture. Very nice bathtub and bathroom facility. No hidden cost - they will tell you the cost of transport and other services upfront and they don’t try to scam you into paying for anything. Also very family friendly.

Everything was great. The staff are very welcoming, and they know you by name. They go out of their way to help you. Also the view from the room was fantastic! Views you only see in movies are becoming a reality. Last but definitely not least, the complementary breakfast buffet they offer is phenomenal! You won’t be disappointed I guarantee that!

I guess the distance it take to get to the resort. It is far away from the airport, and also isolated from other places. If you plan to stay all the time in the resort, then this property will be a great place for you.

First of all the service is out of the ordinary we have never had such an extraordinary experience with the staff, they are very forthcoming, kind, and solution focused especially the Manager of operations, since we had some issues at the pool and with the room we stayed in. Secondly, the view and sunsets, they are just terrific particular from the lobby and the rooms in the front row, however, everything comes with a price because the resort is very far from the city centre and good restaurants one should keep this in mind. Also the breakfast was rich in choices and definitely over average in the hotel industry.

In addition, as feedback the main and only serviced pool is very crowded, so families started reserving most of the sun beds with towels and belongings even though they weren’t actually at the pool yet. Also the staff at the pool where quite inattentive, overwhelmed and certainly not focused on giving us the best experience at the one spot where you spend most of your time. Furthermore, the quite expensive drinks and food were just average in taste and quality, we didn’t except that, especially as food lovers, which we are.
