Clean and spacious room, nice staff

Evening meals expensive compared to elsewhere on the island, same applies for massages, transport.

The staff is amazing, the food great and the rooms are very nice and well maintained.

This is not the fault of the hotel but I think it is important to know. although the hotel has a own little beach it is not possible to swim in front of the hotel. the water is not deep enough.

We found this resort absolutely outstanding. The beach, the pools, the restaurant, the gardens, the staff... everything was just perfect. The location is truly outstanding. The restaurant was excellent, from breakfast to dinner. The pools and gardens are beautiful and kept incredibly clean. Most importantly, we found the staff incredibly good, efficient, kind and friendly. We just mention Nikolai, Jack and Jun among the many incredible people that made our stay at Rocky's one of the best in our lives. Thank you! We will be back!!

the sea water are not blue and clear as you would like to get in Thailand’s islands resorts. although it was renovated and modernized we preferred the previous version of the rooms. the location is not at the center of action in the island.

We booked this last minute due to extending our stay in Koh Samui as we had booked the wrong dates for Koh Tao and nothing was left on that island for the dates we wished to travel and I am incredibly glad we did. We absolutely loved Rocky’s resort. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after and at ease. The staff here are second to none and look after each guest so well. We were celebrating our honeymoon and this was the final stop of our month trip around Thailand and they really went the extra mile to make it special for us. The rooms are stunning, we initially were put into the sea view room with plunge pool at the beachfront which was absolutely incredible. The view each morning was stunning and the bed was absolutely huge and comfortable. They provide lots of complimentary things such as 6 bottles of water per day, flip flops, sun hats, nice robes etc. There is 24 hour room service and the food is good quality although not the best food we had during our stay in Thailand it was still delicious but more pricey than outside the resort (but you pay for where you are so we didn’t mind!). The breakfast was very good and worth including. The Spa offered fantastic massages. A real tranquil setting in the more built up busy Koh Samui. We left our 4 day stay and went to stay in nearby Chaweng but very soon returned to spend our final couple of days back at Rocky’s because we much preferred being there and felt more at home and relaxed. Would highly recommend booking here if you wish for a quiet relaxing setting. They put on regular themed evenings such as cocktail night, bbq on the beach with a fire show etc so there is likely something to do of an evening during your stay. However if young and looking to party I’d suggest the Chaweng area but that wasn’t our cup of tea as a couple.

We loved everything. We would certainly return if we ever came back to Koh Samui. A massive thank you to all the staff at Rocky’s they’ve got it nailed on.

Our honeymoon at Rocky’s Boutique Resort in Koh Samui was pure magic! 🌴💑 We were thrilled with a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room – waking up to the sound of waves was simply enchanting, especially with the stunning sunset views. The culinary delights and cocktails were a treat, and the option to paddleboard and kayak for free added to the joy. The beach, though small, had a charming allure. The staff, always smiling and incredibly helpful, made our stay memorable. Special shoutout to the spa for the phenomenal massage – one of the best we've ever had! A heartfelt thank you to Rocky’s, we wholeheartedly recommend this paradise. 🌅🍹

The service was excellent from the moment we checked in. Even though we were early our room was ready and we were shown straight to the door. The pool facitlites were fantastic with us mostly staying by the garden pool, Very relaxing!! Although the hotel is a little out of Lamai there are some fantastic restaurants within walking distance and a free shuttle if you want to go further afield. All the staff made sure you got a 5star service whether you tip or not which shows their passion for making it a great experiance. We will be highly recommending this hotel to all friends .

Rocky's Resort offers superb comfort and a truly wonderful get-away-from-it-all experience. Fabulous food (don't miss the Saturday night beach barbie), a great beach bar / restaurant with wonderful views out into the Gulf of Thailand, two pools, plus a spa and gym.

Perhaps my only criticism would be that the resort is a few km's outside of Lamai. Walking down the beach is fine, except that you need to detour back to the main road for the last couple of hundred meters to get past the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks.

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT! Property and room were both immaculately kept. Staff are incredibly attentive, friendly and professional. We ate two a La carte meals at the resort - lunch and the Thursday special dinner - both turned out to be the best Thai food we had all trip. Thanks again to the chef! I would recommend you try the food at Rocky’s even if you are not staying at this resort. Everyday, they provided us with water bottles and fresh towels in our room, the hotel offers complimentary kayak and sup boards for guests to use. Internet is fast and good quality. Breakfast is exceptional - choice to order off a live menu or indulge in the breakfast buffet. It is in a quiet part of town so if you’re looking to relax, you will enjoy the private beach. I cannot say enough about this resort…. Thank you to all the Rocky’s staff for such a lovely stay! We hope to come back soon.
