Just left this resort and am so happy I visited this retreat. It has everything I was looking for and more. I did the yoga core cycle experience. There were options of 5 to 8 hours of programming (cycling fitness classes, yoga, yogic Breath-work, fitness classes - various, meditation, sound baths). The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable and even hung out with clients in the common areas. All classes were very accessible. The food was either vegetarian with option of ordering fish meals. Lots of smoothies and healthy drinks on tap during meals. The facilities were great and well kept and in a beautiful setting. Rooms were nice and well appointed.

It is a bit isolated but therefore quiet The massages were pricey so went down the beach.

Samahita is beautifully designed, the yoga, pool, resturant and main facilities are next to the beach, the accomodation set back within gardens. The staff were all brilliant, friendly and helpful, especially James he was very accomodating. Samahita really is something else; if you want to relax and unwind, whilst health kick, with beautiful food & daily (multiple) exercises, the total self care package is well worth it. Wish I had stayed longer & will be returning!

Nothing - it would have been helpful to have a tour at the beginning however maybe the time of arrival, took me a day to orientate myself however that can be normal.

Good service. Nice rooms (but make sure you get a room on second floor. Otherwise everyone can look into your bed). Lovely food. Quality yoga, educated and wonderful yoga teachers. Loved to have yoga outdoors right on the beach!! Location on quiet beach. Very informal atmosphere and lovely people and guests. Easy to be a bit social when meals if you want to. Good massage 200 meters from the retreat for 400 bath.

The beach was a bit disappointing- but I loved the place all in all, so it did not matter after a while.

Staff there were friendly, programs were well run, yoga instructors were patience and gave good advices. Food was nice.

Location is too remote such that taxi could not find it. Sign board was not prominent.

I booked the 5 day self care package all inclusive. I loved the treatments, I had Sabai Massage, reflexology and a facial plus infrared therapy treatments and one floatation therapy session. The pool was nice after every workout and yoga class or to simply cool down from the heat. I enjoyed most of the food and drinks which rotated on most days. The quieter spaces were set up nicely for reading and escaping the loud chatter of extroverts and their demonic laughter traveling through the walls, ceilings and floors. You could also use the quieter spaces to eat your meals alone which I enjoyed. My goal was to take some time out to invest in my health and recharge, it ticked those boxes most of the time. The beach is lovely if you want to do some walking and reflecting. I love that you have to recycle and clean up after yourself, this is the indigenous way of life so it’s good for white people to learn that after they polluted the planet. I want to thank all the service staff who work tirelessly, from the cleaners to the kitchen staff, reception and the massage therapists, all of which are native to the land. I hope you have a good employment package with all the benefits!

I went to a couple of yoga classes, they were accessible to all levels however all the yoga practitioners are white, they are not native to the land nor are they of South Asian descent. It was giving colonialist vibes, with no mention of where Yoga originates from and why. Please start decolonizing yoga and start inviting South Asian guest speakers and yoga teachers! You’re currently running a white wash yoga retreat, it was like contiki on tour without the liquor not that it made a difference people were so loud! I could hear laughter and chatter from the infrared therapy room too which wasn’t helpful. My suggestion is that you amend the current silence time right up until lunch so that spaces are inclusive to neurodivergent people and not catered to only extroverted neurotypical people. It was so loud it was like an Irish pub in there at times! The yoga practitioners, were selective about who they spoke to. The false smiles and hellos around the retreat were hilarious, at one point I bumped into the founder, he gave me a fake smile followed by a fake hello but didn’t bother to engage in any conversation. He’s clearly benefited from oppressing and colonizing. Don’t get me wrong it’s a sustainable offering but you have to acknowledge the part you play in capitalizing, it’s now time to start decolonizing your practice. The mattress and pillows in my room were rock hard and the air con was poorly architected, it’s facing the wrong way.

The location, on the sea, was fabulous. There's nothing quite like doing yoga next to the sea.

The food was very boring, not enough selection, especially for vegans. I ended up going into town for at least one meal a day as I simply didn't have enough to eat.
