Great views. Felt like being in a jungle. Very friendly staff with good food and spa. Very relaxing atmosphere.

This place is paradise. Lots of bamboo buildings amidst gardens, fantastic views over hills and mountains. Lots of options at breakfast and for dinner (though for the latter, as in most places, not quite enough vegetarian options). Staff were all very friendly. The location is fairly isolated, but the resort itself is just a wonderful place to relax in a scenic, unpressured environment in the midst of beautiful gardens. Nice experience one day when a horse-riding monk from a nearby monastery turned up to collect offerings and bless the place.

It's a fair drive to get there, and at the end signposting is not great. There are also some marked walking trails, but again the signposting could be better and we got a bit lost. It is some drive to other restaurants, so the temptation to eat every night in Phu Chaisai's beautiful outdoor dining area is very great!

Dinner is a bit expensive (for Thailand). Pool water a bit cold; had to leave when booking ended :); would be nice to get separate blankets on bed, since no twin room option seems to be available

A beautiful quiet location in the mountains. Staff were lovely. Pool was out of action for the first 2 days. No decaffeinated coffee. All in all a great stay in an amazing location.

It’s a bit tricky to get there, with rental car definitely doable, food wasn’t the best but the view and the huts made up for it!

Everything was exquisite: qualitative and all within a fantastic environment. Kudos to the spa and restaurant teams, and to the gardeners for their amazing work. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The number of steps when one comes back from the pool area… but hey, if that’s the only thing to dislike, this tells you how PERFECT this resort is.

The stay was lovely. The whole place is tasteful, the room was clean, comfortable and with a beautiful view. The staff was amazing as well and the food delicious.

In lower parts of the compound, tbere was an occassional slight humming noise from the neighboring place.

The resort is like a hidden paradise in a mountains. I really liked place and design, many details. Good breakfast on an open terrace, nice beautiful spa, comfortable bed and beautiful view from all point oh hotel

A once in a life time experience. A place that makes you feel part of Thailand's lush nature as soon as you step in. A dream came true. Not to mention the attentive and responsive staff, in particular the very proactive and sweet Champ.

LeIt's set apart from the city and offers the calm one is looking for on a holiday. The staff are very helpful and the entire design and decor is one with nature while being comfortable. The food is so good as it's from their vegetable garden. Recommend the nam prik akha. The dip goes with everything. The omelettes are so fluffy and the strawberry jam is soon good.

There was nothing to not like. However, the coffee/tea provided in the room only comes with sugar, no milk options. Not a deal breaker.
