the resort is very tranquil and the villa we stayed is really outstanding. Bed is super comfortable, room cleanliness by the housekeeping is outstanding.

the choice of food for breakfast is ok, as we are a Muslim couple, we feel there is too many pork base product for breakfast that we can’t have. But we survived.

Everything...from the cold towel with lemongrass scent we have been given and the nice cold herb drink given...to the hospitality through the whole staying...magnificient...ohh also the location...everything 5min walking distance from pharmacy to big supermarkets

The villa and the whole property was too good and very self sufficient. They had everything right from bicycles at no extra cost to roam around the property to kids play area to keep the kids engaged. The property was lush green and very well maintained. The staff was exceptionally good, kind caring and cooperative. The restaurant and the restaurant staff was also very good and helped you a lot with good customisation. It was a very good experience

An amazing relaxing experience. Facilities and Service in all areas were second to none. Dining options were first class and quality and range of food was excellent.

Spectacular hotel. We loved the magnificent plants everywhere, the spacious rooms, the private pool, the friendly staff, the breakfast, the dinner, the helpful reception staff…we loved everything! When you walk through the property the staff say hello to you. The landscaping is the nicest landscaping I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I would pay to go see a botanical garden like this! There is so much to love about this hotel, I couldn’t possibly list it all here. Tip: pay the extra to get the lagoon view because you get more privacy in these rooms.

The room rate was good but the cost of food and beverages was too high. €10 for a bottle of water at dinner is too much. I know that this is luxury accommodation but no bottle of water should cost that much.

Everything was way, way, way above and beyond expectations. Super amazing and awesome stay, this made our vacation proper. The villa was super discreet and you get full privacy within the walls and gate but you don't feel isolated. The pool was amazing, staff super attentive, the vegetation around the property a breath of fresh air. Short walk to a huge 6-7km long beach, very delicious food and quick room service. Superb A+++ Worth every single penny.

I don't understand why you can't smoke at the pool, it's open air. Maybe because there are kids around? This kinda ruined the pool mood .. but not really something to complain about I guess; just a personal preference though I get why it's not allowed.

We have never written a review before but felt compelled to do so in this case because of a recent wonderful stay at the Anantara Mai Khao resort. The pool villa, location and setting, restaurants and service were all amazing. In particular we would like to say a big thank you to Aziz (Guest Experience Manager). Aziz went above and beyond to rectify a situation we encountered during our stay. He is the consummate professional and a credit to the Anantara team and to the industry. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

Staff - excellent! Food - outstanding! Friendliness of staff - superb! Room - awesome! Private pool - spectacular! Proximity to beach - fantastic! Quality of service - wonderful! Transport to airport - smooth and hassle free!
