A la Koh Kood Resort feels like you have been dropped into a postcard of a tropical paradise. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat, the hotel is in wooden colonial style on stilts over a fresh water lagoon attached to an empty white sand beach. Khlong Hin beach is an exotic dream and the hotel also provides at no extra charge the use of their kayaks, snorkelling equipment and paddle boards! The food was delicious, freshly prepared on request, most days we had breakfast, lunch and dinner! A huge thank you to Ruben who could not be more helpful, his kindness extended beyond our stay in Koh Kood, assisting us with transport to our next destination, our daughter’s nut allergy and providing local recommendations. I recommend snorkeling by the coral reefs on the side of Khlong Hin beach as I felt I was swimming in an aquarium filled with beautifully coloured fishes. It was also fantastic kayaking a few minutes away to Ao Jark beach and going up the river through the mangroves. The only thing that we regret is that we didn’t book for longer. We will be back!

What a beautiful place, nestled into a private beach. The rooms resembled the photos but were a little bit tired. It’s quite an adventure to get to as there is a dirt road which leads to the hotel but the staff are great and regularly drive you up and down to the main road. They have a beautiful main living space where guests can go at all times of the day, an amazing restaurant with delicious food and many complimentary activities such as kayaks, games,yoga mats, etc. All of the staff were wonderful, especially the manager Ruben and they made our stay really special

- It would have been good to have a water bucket to clean feet off before accessing the rooms - daily housekeeping to change the bin and wipe the floor because of the sand - cupboard and bathroom needs updating

Everything! My boyfriend and I had such a lovely stay at this resort. You quickly realise what other guests mean about the road leading to the resort being very rocky, however the resort supplies a car that will take you onto the main road and back at any time you need (which honestly was highly appreciated- we weren't skilled enough on the scooter). However, as soon as you get to the resort, it's total tranquility! The resort is small, very well laid out, our room was spacious, we had a comfy bed and a balcony! Breakfast every morning was delicious, with great variety! But nothing really can compare to the beach this resort is off! White sand beach and turquoise water - it's a beach of dreams! It's very quiet, which is ideal and so well kept! We spent a few morning and evenings enjoying the beach and using all the extras the resort supplies (kayaks, snorkeling gear). The staff were wonderful. Reuben is a great host and was there to help us with any and every question we had! It was just a magical way to end our time in Thailand and it will not be the last time we visit both Koh Kood and A La Koh Kood!

Everything! The resort is stunning and Rube was really helpful and thoughtful 🥰 He gave us advice, gave us some fresh Aloe Vera for your burns and was super friendly! Overall the staff is superb! Highly recommend this resort! The beaches nearby are like paradise and the hotel has kayaks, paddle surf boards and everything you need snorkel (all of which you can use for free). We wish we could have stayed there longer! ❤️

Amazing hotel, would definitely stay here again when I'll be back. Ruben and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere between the mangrove and the beach. The hotel provides kayak, paddle for free. It's a little paradise on earth.

The road to the hotel can be a bit difficult for those who are not really comfortable driving motobike but I guess that's the price to pay for the tranquility and the privacy of this beautiful place.

Everything was just perfect. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful zone, very close to the beach. You can borrow all kinds of equipments for water activities - snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddling etc. All the staff are very warm and friendly. If we go back to Koh Kood one day, we'd very much like to go back to A La Koh Kood.

We enjoyed the understated, but super-friendly and efficient staff and top-notch customer service. Food was excellent value. Quality place. Will come back.

Not the fault of the hotel but the beach suffers from plastic. The hotel and the bar on the beach give out bags on request for people to help collect it. A problem all over, so help clean up as you take in the lovely beach and swim in the clear warm water.

Breakfast very good, you have many options to choose. The location is amazing, quite far if you are travelling with old people, the beach top, super clean , looks the paradise. Me and my family we enjoyed a lot the 3 nights we spent there, thank you Ruben for your support and attention, we will come back for sure.

Maybe a small comment it was that not have chairs to stay on the beach, but it was not really important.

We loved our stay at A La Koh Kood. Ruben was the perfect manager of the property attending to our every need, always ready for a little chat about pretty much anything. We enjoyed being placed in the mangrove watching the life in the water below us. At the same time being a couple of minutes walk from a very beautiful beach.
