Perfect spot for a layover! The taxi was less than 15 minutes, easy pickup and drop off. The staff are really friendly, the decor is new and fresh. There is a restaurant in the hotel so you can order food to your room. I also got a fresh americano made for me on my departure for free at 3am!

The shower drain was abit slow so overfilled the shower tray, no big deal though.

My room was exactly what I needed for a one-night layover: quiet and comfortable with good WiFi and great air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable. Huge terrace! But the real reason I am giving 10 out of 10 is due to Mrs. Bahar at the front desk! She really makes you feel welcome. An offer for Turkish coffee when I first arrived was a nice beginning. Even better, since I had a flight departure the next day at 18:35, she graciously honored my request for a late checkout time (something that's become almost impossible in the U.S.). Plus, I was able to order "room service" (actually a local restaurant delivers) for lunch and dine in my room even after I was due to check-out. That room service menu is quite good. The only downside is that wine is only available by the bottle. But the quality and price blows the food options at Istanbul airport away. Basically, at the airport everything is either outrageously expensive or pretty bad! For the driver who brings the food to your room, paying in € or $ was possible for a very slight upward rounding of the sum due, otherwise no room service fee or added gratuity. The shower was rainfall type. Don't drink the tap water; bottled water is provided. Instant coffee with electric kettle provided. Close to the airport. I did hear the occasional plane.

Although my room was all that I required, I do have to say that it looked nothing like the picture on the website. I did hear other guests on the same floor, both in the hall as well as in their rooms. The TV is pretty useless unless you speak Turkish. A terrible storm kept me inside my room, but online it did seem like there were a few simple stores and dining options about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Otherwise it's not a particularly attractive area. Kinda reminded me of some of the coal plant settlements in Wyoming!

The hotel Meshk is very near to the main Intl airport (14 km). I paid 120 TL by meter with a normal yellow Taxi from the airport taxi stand and 130 TL for return. I only stayed one night because of my long flight connection. The hotel is very new, so everything is in good working order and very clean. I chose the budget room, which is very small, the bed is small, the sink is small, the bathroom is small, but other more expensive rooms have bigger space. The hot water was plenty and with good pressure. I found the mattress a little hard but ok for one night. There was no place to hang my clothes in this budget room, but other bigger rooms have a closet with hangers. If many people are travelling, I recommend the hotel mini-van service for airport pick-up, which is 20 EURO per trip. Some airplanes are flying over the hotel, but this is expected! Also avoid rooms that face the main road in front of the hotel, if need rest during the day, as it gets busy and noisy (night is ok). The wifi was working fine to check emails, etc. Staff is welcoming and speak good English (and several other languages, German, Russian).

Stay away from room 502 and the second floor. The lift switch relay is outside of this room and whenever the lift operates, it makes clicking sounds which did not allow for a good sleep. Also, the breakfast can be ordered from outside restaurants from a menu. However, some drinks and snacks are available at the hotel (I didn't try it). I found some kebab places only 10-15 minutes on foot from the hotel on the main road and a nice bakery that has fresh bread and Turkish sweets.

The hotel room was a good value for the money. The room was stylish and clean. Beds were comfy and they had a kettle. Also I really liked that they had open ledges for items. Even for a one-night I like to get some things out of the suitcase but then I'm afraid I forget something in those dark hotel closets with a door. 😅 The location is not ideal if you want to be a walking distance from the airport OR visit the city center. (I explain more in the other part) But for us it worked and we were happy with our choice. 😊

The location is close to the airport but not inside the airport. You need to use their shuttle or call a taxi. But the ride is a short one and you don't need to be afraid of traffic jams. Keep in mind that like the airport the hotel is far from the center. They told us that at worst the cab drive can be 2 hours So if you have a long layover and want to visit the city be aware of that. Our cab drives where 45-50 minutes and we paid roughly 30 euros one-way (no idea if that was good or bad deal). And in the morning we were very happy to sleep a little longer instead of leaving from the city center super early.

The location was very close to the airport and taxi were easy to come by. Everything looked new and clean. The staff were very friendly. And there was even a tea/coffee station in the room. The shower had great water pressure and temperature! The room was a nice size, and everything looked great in the room.

I could hear everything going on in the next room, down to their teeth brushing. The hotel is right on the flight path, so I would recommend ear plugs. The radiator was fully open when I arrived, so it took some time to cool the room down after I arrived. And there was a mini fridge, but no plug anywhere near the cubby it was in, so it had to be moved clear across the room in order to be accessible. These are all minor details, considering the excellent price.

its a very nice boutique hotel, very fashionable, brand new and clean, 15 minutes away from the airport which is perfect if you have a long transfer. excellent service. their shuttle for 20 euros will take you to and from the airport (round trip 40 euros). staff is very nice. I asked for extra bottles of water and was given plenty free of charge. those small details counts 👍 room was clean and had everything I needed (tea, coffee, small fridge, ac, towels). room for just 1 traveler is fairly small but comfy for 1 night.

i would recommend to change pillows. maybe have an option of giving a softer pillow by request like they do in some hotels.

The property is newly open and having had a very early morning flight I have used it is a transit place for Istanbul airport (I was leaving at 04.00 am from the hotel). It is very comfortable (especially the bed), super clean and the room radiates a good atmosphere, once you enter. What sticks out are the very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Keeping my fingers crossed for this type of business, as accomodation opportunities close to the airport are sparse. Based on my experience, I will definitely return here.

When you come the first time, you cannot really evaluate how far the property is from the airport ... it is approx. a 10 mins drive (13 kms). As it happens in Turkey, you can be easily offered a very ridiculous price by taxi drivers at IST airport getting to Arnavutkoy.

I needed a clean and comfortable place near IST airport to stay overnight before my connecting flight. This hotel fulfilled that purpose perfectly. It was a less than 15 minute cab ride away and located in a safe area. The staff was extremely helpful in showing me to my room, assisting with luggage, pointing out all amenities, providing me with fresh espresso gratis in the morning, and calling a cab for me as needed. The room was sparkling clean and new and well-equipped with a quiet, but at the same time pleasantly effective, AC. The bed was very comfy. All around a wonderful experience for what I needed.

Hopefully they will get a dedicated space / convert 1 or 2 rooms into a seating & eating area The only seating area is a small couch in the reception area , and 1 or 2 chairs outside without cover/ shade, so rather hot in summer Lots of construction (other hotels) happening in the street, though you dont hear any of it once you are in your room : - ) We had some issues in the shower, with shower heads - which got sorted. floor also floods a bit hopefully this gets sorted

Room, while modest in size, comes with plenty of shelving as well as a mini-fridge and desk. The bathroom is very clean. And thankfully, it's not a carpeted floor. Staff were always quick to respond to messages, helpful and courteous in person. The hotel is some 15 minutes from the airport. I believe there's coffee/pastries offered to guests for breakfast, but we had to leave too early for our flight to have this. Note that the new Istanbul airport is super-efficient, so perhaps leaving the hotel 2.5 hours prior to flight departure may not be necessary.

At the time of writing the area is still a little bleak, but there's lots of construction going on along the road of the hotel and I expect it will become much better and greener after all has been completed. Luckily there seems to be no construction at night, so it's nice and quiet!
