We've stayed here loads of times, so knew what to expect. It has a lovely pool area, and loads of shady places to read a book under a tree. The owner and his staff are very friendly and there's always someone around if you need anything. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and staff don't endlessly interrupt you or try to inundate you with unwanted services, which can be a problem in some Turkish hotels (we've tried two other hotels in Gocek recently, when the Efe had been fully booked and we found this a problem at both of them). We had a lovely room with a big sofa and outside terrace, on the shady side of the hotel, which was perfect, as the weather was extremely hot. Good, very quiet, air conditioning in the rooms. Bathrooms are slightly dated now, but everything works absolutely fine and they are spotlessly clean. We arrived rather late for lunch, but the staff rustled up a lovely salad for us, with fresh bread and cold drinks. Breakfast is buffet style, with lots of choice of cheeses, fruit, olives, eggs, jams etc, and plenty of freshly baked breads and simits. The hotel very kindly let us check out a little later than billed, even though they had people coming into the room later - this allowed us to have a relaxed morning before leaving to catch our flight. The hotel is less than five minutes flat walk to the harbour/village centre, and 20 minutes drive from Dalaman Airport. It is also a very short walk to the bus stop that serves the airport Bus Service, as well as buses to Marmaris, Fethiye and beyond.

the welcome, the decor, comfy beds, nice shower, fabulous pool, little touches like pool sheets you can use. the breakfast, the location, the wonderful helpful service. we were ill for most of our stay which was a huge blow. but if you have to be ill then we lived in comfort. a real home from home.

We loved everything! it would have been handy if the WiFi could have worked better in our room but it’s a minor detail.

The location, in a garden setting, close to the center of Gocek is excellent and the large pool too. Bedroom was simple but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

We left before breakfast to catch a plane and the hotel offered to make us a sandwich for our journey. This was much appreciated but, sadly, the bread rolls were a bit dry, without butter and the contents very sparing!

Spacious rooms, comfy beds, lovely staff, great pool and terrace/garden, lovely food, so relaxing. Always someone around if you need something, otherwise they are happy to leave you alone. Only 15 minutes from the airport, great place to unwind if you've had a long journey. Loads of places to eat and drink in Gocek, within five minutes walk of the hotel.

We absolutely Loved this hotel. We stayed here before our sailing trip and it was the perfect base. We had friends who stayed at other hotels that they were not happy with and they wished they had stayed at the Efe hotel. Its in a great Location that is close to the marina/ shops/ restaurants but also just far enough away to get the peaceful quiet. The rooms are clean, comfy, have good wifi and aircon. The pool area is beautiful with a very large pool, enough sunbeds/sun umbrellas for everyone and an incredible view of the pretty hotel and the mountains. We enjoyed the little friendly ginger cat who would say hello to us in the afternoon near the pool. It feels like you are in a friends back garden and not a hotel. It felt very homely and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with all matters. The breakfast is fresh and simple, but with something for everyone in a lovely outdoor terrace area. We would love to stay again and will recommend this hotel to anyone going on a sailing trip needing a place to stay before and after the sail. Thank you Efe Hotel :)

There was nothing we didnt like at Efe Hotel.

Breakfast was excellent as were other food and drinks available at the hotel and at very reasonable prices

I would have preferred a bigger room but can book a bigger room next time I visit. Taxi transfers from airport were on the expensive side for a relatively short journey but this isn’t the hotel’s responsibility

Amazing pool in a beautiful and peaceful garden, excellent location (a quick walk to the shops and restaurants), good breakfast in lovely surroundings, helpful friendly staff. Gocek is really nice. I booked our last night in Turkey here to be near Dalaman airport but we enjoyed exploring the area in its own right. Would def recommend this hotel as a base.

For the price and the fact that we only stayed one night the room was absolutely fine but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer in the quadruple room as it was quite stuffy and hot. (The air con does work well though.) Always tricky to find a room for 4. We did appreciate the two separate areas but I’d book 2 normal rooms at this hotel next time.

The Hotel is in a very quiet relaxed location. The Hotel itself is very pleasant having a relaxed country house atmosphere with a good size pool in very pretty garden surroundings. There is a large covered open air veranda where you dine /have breakfast. There is an outside bar and bbq dining area. The rooms were of a good size and clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Good parking facilities available.

The gardens were kept immaculate and clean. Really good size pool. Rooms were basic but clean and beds very comfortable with extra pillows if required

Thin walls but only a small thing and only heard couple next door one night. Rest of time quiet.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Pool was superb with plenty sun loungers and umbrellas available.

The gardens looked neglected. If the grass had been cut and flower beds weeded it could have looked really good. The bedrooms, though very comfortable and clean, were dated, but for 2 star were perfectly acceptable.
