The A/C of the room is so cold, not like most of Istanbul Hotels. Location of hotel is good, so many restaurants and shops around. there are universities in the area, so most of the people you see there are students not tourists. The hotel is located directly to the high street where you easily can find a taxi. I advise you to choose the big room to have a comfortable stay because normal rooms are small. I faced an issue because my room A/C was not working, but Mr. Azmi did his best in the mid of the night and changed my room to bigger one with excellent A/c.

Hard to walk to the hotel because of the rising way to it. The lobby is very small and the left too. No one to carry your bags you have to carry by yourself. Only restaurants and some shops around, so you need a taxi to go to any tourist place, mall or shopping.

The location is the best in Besiktas. Especially if you want to be far away from the noise in Besiktas. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Wifi signal is good no issues. Have not tried the breakfast, however it is better not to book the facility with the breakfast you can pay at facility if you decide to do breakfast at the location, but there are lots of turkish breakfast places in Besiktas. Leave the decision later rather paying ahead.

The only thing I believe hotel needs improvement is the air circulation in the bathroom. Unfortunately there were bad smell and it is due to not good HVAC system in the bathrooms.

I would like to thank the staff especially Azim who was fantastic and helped me retrieve my phone which I had left in a taxi the night before. What a top man 👍👍👍👍

Cozy and safe place to stay for a single traveler! The staff was amazing, very helpful in everything. I’m very pleased with my stay, since all my requests were accommodated. After going through many hotels reviews on Booking.com in the area I made a right decision to choose this hotel. I had a lot of requests for my search: no noise, no smoking( which is impossible to find in Istanbul), kind staff and I found it all in Cheya Besiktas hotel. Yes, it’s not 5 starts hotel, but for the price you pay you get a safe and home-like environment to stay with very supportive staff. Talking about staff, my main reason this hotel brought my attention when I was reading reviews was Oksana, who’s name was constantly brought in the reviews. So I called and talked to her, she reassured me that I will be safe and comfortable at their hotel, and she was absolutely right! Oksana was so helpful and kind! Oksana, Azmi, Kenan, Erkan thank you so much for making my trip to Istanbul much less easier and peaceful than I expected :)) I highly recommend this place to people who travel on budget and want to be at peace/no smoke environment with great staff!

The service was exceptional, well above average. The two receptionists were excellent, and the lady responsible for breakfast was also great. My overall evaluation of the hotel was very positive, but I would like to highlight the service provided by these three people. They are very valuable and helpful, and the hotel is lucky to have such qualified people among its employees.

I do not have anything to complain about.

Booked the studio, it was spacious with massive windows. The view was amazing as the park is right in front of the hotel. The windows were double insulated so you have zero noise from the street. It had AC, a big couch, a kitchen with dish washer, mini fridge, microwave and stove. Super quiet and comfortable. The location was great, a lot of restaurants & grocery stores nearby. Close to a bus station as well.

The bathroom didn’t have enough toiletries and paper. We requested for more but no one followed up. The plugs near the bed were all inaccessible. The bed is too near and you cant reach any plug. You have to charge somewhere else in the room. The kitchen had no dishes/spoons/anything to use. You have to bring your own.

The staff at the reception and food area were very very kind and attentive. The check in process was very smooth and they were always ready to help. The hotel is in an amazing area with easy access to Taksim, Nisantasi, Ortakoy, Bebek and Etiler and also close to the ferries going to Anatolian side (Kadikoy etc.). The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was also very nice! I really enjoyed my stay at Cheya thanks to the very kind staff members.

This place was amazing. The first night we arrive there they gave us an average room since they did not have a better room but we were able to upgrade the next day to a better room with street and water view. We stayed here for 20 days. The staff are extremely friendly and amazing. We recommend this hotel to whom ever wants to go to Turkey and stay here. The location is great and only 2 block from the water. The restaurants are very close by.

Excellent location, only few steps from besiktas ferryboat pier and special airport bus-transfer station, far enough from crowded tourist center in true turkish part of the city. Hotel clean with comfortable studio, kitchen included (attention: dishes and utensils only on request at reception desk) and friendly staff.

Weak, unstable wi-fi (traditionally), amost locked windows and due covid measures the breakfast in not usual set-up (only room service).
