Everything was perfect: the room was clean, the view was spectacular, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent to enjoy the atmosphere and visit main attractions

There is a room for improvement: - the wi-fi was a little bit slow for watching videos - the breakfast was poor (but there are plenty of delicious and cheap cafes around) - it would be nice to make a note for disabled people that the hotel is located on the hill

Great staff, great location. I've been in Istanbul many times; given the fact that the soundproofing and isolation is in general bad in there, either the hotels are close to Istiklal street and super noisy or they are quite far from everything. So Cihangir hotel is an excellent compromise. It is like 5-7 min walk to istiklal, yet it is far enough from all bars and noght clubs. I am a super light sleeper and I can confirm the hotel is in a quite area. We've been there few night (including the weekend) so there was not much noise. In fact, there was only the boats that you can hear from time to time, no big deal. There was only one bar far far away on top floor pf some building that had loud music on Sat. night but they stopped before midnight. Of course you may hear call for prays in the morning, but that you can hear everywhere in Istanbul, there is always a mosque in some corner. The breakfast was nice and the staff at the breakfast was really friendly people. If your budget allows, go for the rooms with the sea view, it really worths it. And if possible, take the suit on the fifth floor, it is big and has an astonishing view.

The only problem was that the AC was kind of not listening to us :D So we visited in Feb and the system was on heating mode, but the room was overheated so we tried to decrease the temperature but it was not working somehow.

the location was great. the suite room was excellent. the staff was very helpful, in particular Fatih.

The breakfast wasn't good so we only ate at the hotel once, the rest we would just walk around in Cihangir and eat from a cafe there. the hotel was a short walk from Istiklaal street.

Definitely select a room with a view, it’s nice to stay on the balcony early in the morning or in the evening enjoying the views of the Bosphorus and the city. Staff was excellent, very friendly and always accommodating. Nice breakfast, good selection. Quiet area

Location is good and close to everywhere, just keep in mind you would need to be prepared to climbing numerous steps or going through very narrow steep streets if you wish to explore by walking as this area is all hills

Good central locality, very helpful staff. Very good rich breakfast. We had room with sea view - it was spectacular especially in the morning.

Heating with air conditioner was not working very well (it was rather cold, but in this season still OK). Room safe deposit was not fixed to the wall nor wardrobe (not really useful - you would just collect valuables for the thief so he can grab the safe :-) )

comfortable room, very clean, nice modern décor, great breakfast, great location - quiet yet very central for a short visit, vibrant neighborhood, excellent public transport connections to both airports.

Internet connection was not great - I worked remotely from the room and had some trouble maintaining audio calls. Front desk/management was somewhat paranoid - I met a friend for dinner, we went back to the hotel for 30 minutes, around 7pm, before heading out for after dinner coffee - the front desk insisted on photocopying my friend's ID and threatened to charge me money for taking a guest up into my room (they didn't follow through with that). I suspect some of the intense paranoia was as a result of the fact we were both guys. I would not stay in this hotel if I ever thought I would want to hook up while staying there.

Normal room, good value for money, clean, great view from the roof terrace (café-resto), calm in a very touristic area, close to Taksim, Galata, not far from the old city even by walk.

No big choice on breakfast, no balkonies to the rooms, thin walls.

It was a nice hotel, close to the city center, one of the rooms with a view was really nice but the other room with the "garden view" was small and of course a bit cheaper, the breakfast was served at -1 floor which is a very small restaurant, in the images there were restaurant pictures with a view but we never used it

the phone in our room wasn't working and it was never changed, most of the numbers on the phone were broken so we couldn't access the receptionist, there was no action taken in that regrad, one morning we didn't have hot water so we had to go downstairs to ask for it!

Good value for money, This is my second time in this hotel the room and beds were comfortable, Very nice view over phosphorus , I recommend it for all my friends.

The staff were really helpful for any needs. I admired the behavior of one of the staff who serves the breakfast buffet , his name is Naci , was really down to earth person and helpful . The facility were clean 👌

I didn't like the temporary renovations, I only noticed this on my arrival. AC conditioning was the worst part in my stay, every time it gives an error and the heat were extreme these days.. buy the staff were trying their best to fixed it , so I give this as a plus for them .
