Excellent location 30 meters from Taksim Square and the main pedestrian street Istiklal. Bright and beautiful rooms that have everything you need. A good option to stay in the city center if you are planning walking tours and sightseeing. Nearby there is the Galata Tower, the bridge from which ferries depart to the Bosphorus and much more.

The location in the center also dictates its disadvantages. In the morning, the mosque will wake you up with a call to prayer. At night, you are not allowed to sleep by the sounds of the street where life is boiling 24/7. Therefore, if you want to relax in silence, this is not your option. We walked 20k steps a day and slept great. There are signs of wear in the room itself. The socket may fall out of the wall or mold may be found in the corner of the shower.

The staff is really amazing especially Mr. Hyder and the hotel location is great .

Room size and noisy neighbour hood

This is a little hidden gem in the heart of Taksim and the important places like Metro, Istaklal street, restaurants, Taksim square, mosque, church, mini grocery stores, money exchange, etc. are very very close. The small is a small and cozy but vintage and basic facility without a lot of bells and whistles. However, its a great value for money. The Suite Appartment has two small balconies with a view of the landmark mosque and French consulate. The large windows make it bright. The two sofa beds (one in the bed room and one in the lounge) were good enough for our two under 13 kids. Additional pillows and sheets provided on request. Heaters are available in the bedroom and lounge. The is also a small kitchenette. The bathroom is a bit small but hot water is available. There is a police check post right next to the hotel which provided a good sense of security. The front desk supervisors Mr. Hayder and Mr. Onur are very helpful and supportive and our booking was managed perfectly. Mr. Hayder also arranged a taxi for us for airport drop on time. The cleaning lady did her job perfectly. Tesekkur ederim! We will definitely stay again!

There is a nightclub very close which can be an inconvenience for some people. However, in my opinion, most of the people return to the hotel late at night so that should not be an issue. Also, the online photos of the hotel are old and need to be updated to show the view from the rooms (please feel free to upload my photos). The description should be updated to include all the positives about this hotel.

well my room was 301, everything was good just the bar & club behind was too loud every night specially on weekend, it close at 5 am in morning .

Only thing to be aware of is that the area is full of night clubs and is very busy and noisy at night. That didn't pother me anyway as I stay up late during holidays. But if you're someone who goes early to bed, might not be for you. Still excellent location from Taksim, very clean, and staff are very helpful.

Location is very nice.. on feet it takes less than 1 minute to istiklal street and two minutes to taksim midan.. The apartment consists of a room and salon, kitchen, bathroom and two small nice balconies: the room contains bed and sofa. The salon has foldable sofa bed The kitchen has all what you want: microwave , electric kettle, gas (double hob cooker) cooking tools, cups, plates… etc. Bathroom and shower Hot and cold water, good water pressure, hair dryer, towels There are 2 TVs, one TV in every room Curtains are light blocking (blackout) you can sleep even at the daylight staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was quiet and calm no noise from neighbours

Love the location, the room was ok, the shower was good, the place was clean but the street noise and the mosque noise was terrible. I love that it was inside a historical area, near Taksim Square and also near many places to go to get a bite to eat. When I arrived the front desk guy was not very friendly.

Lack of morning breakfast, elevator was kind of small, noise from a major street (they gave me a room on the side of a busy street).

A very warm welcome by the man at the check-in counter. He was always very friendly and greeted my wife, baby and I politely. He always gave clear and good recommendations for restaurants and supermarkets to visit. The hotel room was clean and the little kitchen is adequate. Great value for money.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel or hotel room. You cannot expect five star facilities and pay for a three star hotel. There is no need for the hotel to provide breakfast as there are many restaurants in close proximity that are open for breakfast.

We enjoyed IQ Hotel so much! The interior is GORGEOUS, a very beautiful apartment. The staff is helpful and polite, we got everything we asked for. It has an elevator and good WiFi too. If you can't stand noise, you should know that this apartment is located in busy street -- you will hear people, cars and bar music. We had no issue with that, but in case you can't sleep if there is no silence, then maybe take an apartment on the other side of the building. It is 50 meters from Taksim, GREAT location! We will be back here!
