The hostel was clean and modern, the staff was very kind. The door to an all-female dorm could be opened by a card, to lock personal drawers you use your own pin-code. The neighborhood was safe and had many cafes. It was easy to get to the seaside on foot.

New pillows and bedsheets won't hurt.

Great community atmosphere here with a beautiful terrace for a drink in the afternoon. The location is also excellent for doing day trips in a less touristic location.

The kitchen was functional but messy. I would like to see some more glassware available and perhaps a dishwasher to make sure pots do end up soaking for days. The shower could also use a grout scrub and some bleach. I would like to say that it was nice to have a lockable bathroom in the 4-bed dorms, I highly recommend booking this if you want a little more privacy. The mattresses were a little bit uncomfortable with the springs but this was not a deal breaker for me.

This hostel is in the perfect location in Istanbul if you prefer to stay in a slightly less touristy part with a lot of locals and young people. Hostel staff is friendly and they have a lot of people speaking different languages which can be very helpful if you are a foreigner traveling in Turkey. Hostel has a good vibe and it's full of young travelers

Facilities are a bit worn up and too old, some parts really need renovation, for example the walls of our room need to be cleaned and painted. I wish it to be a little cleaner. Besides that everything was good.

Everything is perfect! The location is nice a bit far from Kadiköy metro station and pier like 15 mins walk but there are so many restaurants and cafes so they didn’t make me bored to reach there! Moda beach and park is very close to the hostel it’s very nice to see sunset and walk around to chill! Highly recommend if you are bored in European side! I really enjoyed staying in Kadiköy!! Also all staff was so friendly and helpful!! The room was very clean and comfortable mattress!

Other guests were a bit noisy in midnight but it was not a matter from the hostel.

Facilities were amazing, whole place was super clean, security was top notch (coded front door, key cards for rooms, and coded lockers in each room; tbh it was almost annoying sometimes because I would occasionally lock myself out of my room, but it was definitely secure). Laundry, free drinking water, kitchen on site. Comfy and sleek in general, definitely a professional establishment.

Not much vibe, all the other travellers are older digital nomad types. Not necessarily a bad thing, but if you want a social hostel, and certainly if you're looking to party, then this place is not ideal. Common areas are in the basement or on a fairly underwhelming terrace, so as someone that really likes to have a nice place to chill and meet people, this was lacking.

Great location: you are in walking distance from area with bars and cafes. In front of the place there is a store with snacks and drinks. Friendly staff who is always ready to help you. Our flight was delayed and we missed checkin time but stuff was waiting for us and let us in.

You can find common areas at each floor. And there was a balcony in front of ours apartment. Some guys chatted all night so it was hard to fall asleep.

The staff was very nice. I twisted my ankle on the day I arrived and she changed my bed to the room on the first floor (at first she arranged a room on the top floor). The room had lockers for free, it was clean and spacious as well. There was common space both outside and inside. The location was good, only 20 minutes walking to the train/metro station.

It was all good for me, but take note that there is no elevator

The sincere atmosphere with people (especially in the common area) felt amazing. Basically the energy of the hostel was like home.

Bed could be more clean but it was okay.

The community there was awesome at least when I went! Super kind staff and sensitive to my requests. Also, nice quite location close to Moda but not so close that it's loud.

Kitchen can use more utensils.

Good location, quiet area right next to a big market district. Good amenities, I enjoyed the chill space in the basement.

Weak internet signal in room. No laundry service.
