The stay was a great value for the money we payed. It was near the pubs and city center, had a lot of public parking to choose from (payed for underground parking 35euro for 4 days). The beds were confortable ( an 8 from 10 ). Staff very friendly and helped me with any questions i had.

It s not that i did not like it, but it a more of a suggestion: i would like for the breakfast to be more diverse: same food every morning ... and since we stayed for 5 days it became a little too much.

The Location of the Hotel was very good. Perfect distance from the Taksim Square and Galata Tower. Few Grocery Stores and Restaurants did helped us in getting the food whenever we want

The Breakfast was not up to the mark, it could have been better, if better choices of food were selected. There was almost nothing for Asian Tourists

This hotel was pretty good. The room was clean and very comfy. We really liked the view from the terrace from our room. Breakfast was very good, but there wasn’t enough free space at the hotel cafe.

In fact our check in went beastly due to an overnight flight. We had to wait 7 hours until we got our room keys.

Very nice Room. Comfortable , spacefull and quite because was at the back side. Comfort matress and good lighting. Also good size of bathroom and shower cabin. Area is very nice and cozy. Not far from noisy Taksim and close to the art and vintage stores of Beyoglou. Very nice and polite staff. Will book again in my future trip to Istanbul

Breakfast was akwart situation. Fair enough if you was very early in the restaurant. Otherwise most plates in the buffet where empty or take long time to replace something. Needs more care the buffet breakfast

Consistent and commendable customer service from check in until check out. A very warm welcome from the staff as soon as I walked through the door with my friend. Seamless check in, a beautiful rooms, comfortable bed. Bedroom and toilet are clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing. A special mention too for Mr. Mehmat, he was very helpful during our stay in hotel, we got early check-in and rest of the staffs also were helpful. Quick response to any requests we made during our stay. Literally, just one call away! Very convenient and accessible to the locations. Hotel distance from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street approximately 600M-700M. You can find many restaurants around (Indian/Pakistani Food near taksim Square), coffee shops and many. My overall stay was great and comfortable.

Nice spacious and clean suite with added seating area. Smart TV with Youtube, Netflix etc. Wi-fi very good throughout the building. Bed was very comfortable. Location ideal for Tophane tram station (10 min walk down hill) and Taksim Sq (12 mins walk). Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold foods, tea/coffees. The location is handy but remember that there are some quite steep streets in the area. The staff at reception and breakfast area are helpful and friendly.

Great experience at Orka taksim.nice hotel, clean rooms, great location, you can walk to taksim square, istiklal street and to the galata tower, port is also close and many shops and cafes nearby( Firuz cafe in 5 min walking distance with delicious food and great service) also lots of jewelry shops near the hotel if you are looking to buy one. Loved how friendly and helpful the staff were, they made our stay very comfortable. Definitely would recommend if you are visiting Istanbul

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The stuff is very friendly. If you travel by car, there are several paid parkings around. A boy from the hotel came with us in the car and guided to the most suitable parking. It was 15 EURO / day, open 24/7, you pay in advance for the entire stay but you can leave and return any time, during paid period. The waking distance to the tram is about 10-15 min. In total, the trip to main atractions takes about 30 min. The breakfest was more then decent. You always could find something to eat. Lots of restaurants, bars and general stores around the hotel. Overall it was a very pleasent stay.

We had booked a triple room for us and our student son, but were upgraded to a junior suite which was a bigger room which was very welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just love this part of Istanbul. It's lively without being noisy. Lots of great cafes and restaurants and independent shops. Easy to get everywhere by public transport or on foot if you can cope with the hills. Room was very clean. Lots of cupboard space. Hotel has been refurbished in last few years so everything is modern and fairly new. Nice shower room. Nice cafe on the ground floor where they also serve the breakfast.

We'd stayed in this hotel 9 years ago and the refurbishment has taken away some of its character. It's now standard modern. Some odd design decisions. The double bed was in an area without windows with sliding doors which we had to wedge open, separating it from the rest of the room. There were no reading lights in the bed area. The sofa bed was a small single which was okay, but not ideal for an adult. I found the bed a bit hard. As is typical of most mid level hotels, the coffee was not good. Breakfast was traditional Turkish which we don't particularly like and you have to pay extra for a croissant/pain au-chocolat.

From the very start my friend and I were greeted nicely. We even received an upgrade to a suite, which was 35sqm with a terrace. Everything was clean and super comfortable. The bed were amazing as I've slept like on a cloud. Not too firm and not too soft......just perfect. 4x 500ml water bottles where placed each day in the room, which was great. If we asked for any advice, directions the staff went out of their way to help us and get the best bargains. Location is perfect for good walks and nearby clubs for night entertainment. Hotel itself is in a quite area where your nights are not disturbed. Plenty of restaurants, caffe's in minutes walking. We were so impressed of this hotel that we booked it again for after returning from our 11 days cruising around Turkey. Definitely it's money and stay worthwhile. Big thanks to all the staff to make our stay memorable.

Breakfast could be of more variety but as I have gluten and lactose allergy needed to find another option of which was not difficult. Maybe minor changes would be great....but that is just me
