The staff was very friendly, breakfast was pretty nice, and I loved the interior design of the room I stayed in! Public transport is easily accessible from the hotel, so the location of the hotel is great too. Easily one of my favorite hotels in Istanbul so far!

Although the food was delicious, the menu may be expanded a bit to allow more selections. I, however, was guaranteed that they are working on it. :)

The location is nice. 10 minutes by bus to Taksim or to Eminuno (or 45 minutes walking). Buses are very frequent in the location. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is very tasty. it's not a buffet one but prepared when sitting making it delicious and fresh. It's composed of eggs, cheese, salad, butter, chocolate, and jam. However, only one option is available. It would be better to have two or three different options to let the customer try many Turkish breakfast choices (e.g., simit, sucuk, etc.).

Very new and clean. Great location facing the golden horn. Rooms with sea view are spacious and very nice. View from terrace is great. Very close to Balat area where you can have an afternoon walk.

It says it’s close to tram station but in fact that tram lane is not connected to main touristic areas like Sultan Ahmet or Galata, however it’s close by car and you can take taxi from there. Breakfast can be better. Standard rooms are very small.

The hotel is very new and has a good arty atmosphere. The room was very large with a fantastic view over the Golden Horn. The restaurant is outstanding and reasonably priced, with a spectacular view and creative fusion cuisine. The location of the hotel is outside the main tourist hubs in Istanbul, but easy to reach by city ferry, bus, tram, or taxi. It is in-between two neighbourhoods: Fener, which is a new coffee-culture favourite and quite funky, and Balat, which is a quiet and modest but pleasant area.

No complaints.

Location is great, just outside of the busiest Balat street. Super accessible, the ferry station is just across the road. Lots of restaurants, colorful Balat houses, toy museum, everything is 2-4 minutes walk away. That makes is a quite location which is perfect for families.

It was a bit peculiar that the windows from the room open up to a restaurant terrace from one side but there was never anyone there and we just kept the blinds shut on that side.

The location is pretty good - old district, a lot of restaurants and cafes in about a 2-5 minute walk. The golden horn is just across the road and there are a couple of crosswalks with traffic lights not so far from the hotel. The next building is under construction, but there weren't any activities there during my stay. The rooms had Nespresso coffee makers and there was a coffee bar in the lobby. I've stayed in 3 different rooms from the smallest single one to a double room and all of them had equally comfortable beds (only different in size), working air conditioning, and pretty much almost the same level of equipment. The only thing missing from the smallest room was a mirror. The rooms looked just as in the pictures. The wi-fi was pretty good with a stable connection in both lobby and rooms. The hotel staff was very kind and always ready to help. The breakfast was just what you'd expect from a small hotel. Several types of meat, cheese, bread, some hot food (was changing every day, had boiled eggs and some other stuff), several types of cereals with several a selection of toppings for them (honey, jam, chocolate), some local appetizers, fruits and so on. Coffee and tea to choose from. The breakfast was served on the top floor on a terrace with a gorgeous view over the Golden Horn.

The noise. The doors almost don't reduce it, so you hear everything going on in the corridors and if you're living on the first floor, you'll also hear the reception. The earplugs are a must. One of the rooms had a strange curtain that was covering only half of the window (seems like there should've been a second one). If your room is on the front side, you might not want to open the windows - people smoke near the entrance, you'll smell it all even on the 2nd floor.

We were a family of 5 at the hotel, we took a triple room for the kids (14-12-09), they extremely liked their big room with the sea view. The hotel is very new and very clean, Ozgur is excellent, very nice guy, helpful and devoted for his work and careful about customer satisfaction. The breakfast was acceptable if you like a normal Turkish breakfast with a good cup of tea, but I personally recommend the super nice hotel management to do some enhacement on the breakfast so to make the hotel one of the best in Istanbul. It's very close to Eminunu, bus and tram station 50m walk (30 seconds). Highly recommended hotel.

I really liked the building and it’s design which is cosy and comfy and that’s exactly what I wanted and chose the hotel for, the stuff are so friendly Fiyaz, Sema and Osan thank you guys all for your hospitality, I also liked the view from my room very much, location was near to most of places and bus stop is just in front of the hotel

There was unpleasant smell coming from the shower room but when I close the cabin door and bathroom door there was no smell in the room, so it wasn’t a big deal for me breakfast is good but may be better.

Stayed here with the family for a few nights. This was the first time we stayed outside of the main hustle and bustle - the hotel is located near many coffee shops but not many restaurants. The hotel is located near the sea front. The staff were very friendly and helpful and so was the resident cat! Breakfast was limited but delicious. The rooms were slightly small but clean and comfortable.

Everything about the hotel itself was great but we personally didn't like the location!

The hotel is close enough to the central sights by bus, tram or ferry but the picturesque Balat area is worth exploring in itself and has some great food options. Friendly staff and very good breakfast at this newly restored and converted hotel.

A few problems with smelly drains - in common with much of Istanbul, unfortunately.
