I enjoyed everything about my stay! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong. I slept amazingly well! It's in a quiet area with food options within walking distance. The only downside is that the hotel is anywhere from a 20 - to 30-minute taxi ride from major attractions. At first, I thought this was going to be a problem, but at the end of the day and early morning, it was perfect. It takes you out of the hustle bustle area and into a relaxing environment. Having breakfast on the terrace is very peaceful, and the view is gorgeous! Thank you for a great stay!

The landlord/stuff was soooooooooooooooooooooo nice! Normally I don't make reviews on anything, but I have to compliment Queen Seagull hotel. I'm easily touched by some details which show caring and consideration. Clearly they have nailed it! They have a lid on the AC so that the cold wind won't directly blow to the bed. Also this is the first place in Turkey where I found USB charger. They also got aromatherapy so the hallway always smell so nice. The landlord is so considerate. He offered me Whatsapp so that he can offer help anytime, and so he did! He offered us thick blanket as we required around midnight and helped us call a taxi 6 in the morning, and even negotiate with the taxi driver so that we don't get ripped off (which is not rare in Istanbul). He always wears a warm smile on his face which is just comforting when you see it.

I visited Istanbul for 12 days, and I had a really wonderful experience at this amazing boutique hotel. The service was excellent, and the rooms were neat and clean. The terrace is amazing as it exactly front of seaside. WRT staff, they were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Yunus, he is really kind and always willing to guide you to the best places and routes. The breakfast tastes like homemade as it is cooked by a nice typical Turkish lady. The neighborhood is safe and secure, and the hotel is just few steps far away from Yedukli Train Stop Station, and you can go easily to other places. It’s highly recommended and we will definitely visit it again

What I liked most were the incredible people who work there Naz and Yusuf. They are always ready to help, tell how to get somewhere, and even draw a map if necessary) The room is small, but there is everything you need, cleaning is done every day. From the terrace and from the room you have a beautiful view of the bay. The hotel is very cozy and small. Breakfasts were delicious every morning: big portions, vegetables, fruit, cheese, bacon, nuts, etc. Good location. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the bus stop as well as to the promenade. Would definitely come again if possible.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great filling breakfast with nice view of the Marmara sea from the terrace, convenient location for public transport (Yedikule station is less than a minute walk away). Yunus and Deniz were very hospitable, generous and helpful. For example, they lent us an Istanbul card for travel during our stay, organised a taxi back to the airport for us, and also, highlighting their kindness and hospitality, Yunus walked with my sister to a restaurant 15 minutes away to help her claim back money in person from a restaurant after she was accidentally overcharged.

Likely nothing to do with the hotel, but the instructions for the taxi service to the hotel from the airport on Booking.com were different to that on the day (i.e the Booking.com message stated a different taxi company to the one we were actually booked with). That said, the correct taxi company Whatsapped me directly in advance of getting to Istanbul and it worked out fine in the end.

We stayed at the hotel with a large family. Everyone flew in from different cities. The hotel is absolutely delightful. We want to express our immense gratitude to the hosts who made this hotel our home for the time being! Cozy, clean, and comfortable hotel. Delicious breakfasts, delicious tea and coffee all day, soft wide beds, daily cleaning. The location is perfect. There is a station near the hotel, no need to drive or walk anywhere, just 4 stops straight to the city center! I can't imagine a better option for relaxation and travel. Huge thanks from the whole family and see you soon!

The property is very close to the public transportation station somehow in the center but far from the noise and agitation of the city. The personnel is very kind and very helpful especially Yunus he has a very cheerful personality and he is very very nice. The rooms are as you see them. Very comfortable mattress which are great after a day of wondering around they have TV with Netflix which we did not even turn on but may come in handy. The terrace which we used only at breakfast has a beautiful view of Bosfor and Marmara sea. The breakfast was typical nothing fancy or extravagant they served a normal breakfast and a few traditional dishes there are different types of food you can choose from.

Can we rate more than 10 points please? That was one of the most surprising hotel stays I had in my life and there were a lot. Perfect location for going to Istanbul city as directly located next to a city train station (but not disturbing loud) Quiet and small street, we could leave room window open and no noise. Amazing view from top terrace, where you will have your breakfast. Room in really good condition offers daily supplies like shower gel etc. Daily fresh towels, amazing room service. You can park your car on the road in front of the Hotel - staff will help you. And the staff: young dedicated family. Always helpful, always there for a small chat, very polite and for sure they earn money with their hotel and you being their guests, but exactly that's how we felt - a guest in their house. Not just another tourist with Euro or dollar.

We have been warmly welcomed by Ynus and Deniz. We directly felt home thanks to their introduction. The hotel wasn't full and we had the chance to be upgraded on the sea side. The breakfast was composed of various different local ingredients. The hotel is located in Yenikule, a traditional Turkish neighborhood, which gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture, far from the mass tourist areas. Our stay was a pure pleasure and we highly recommend the hotel for a short or long stay!

Our entire stay was lovely. The staff went above and beyond; their customer service was exceptional! We weren't sure from looking at photos as it looked quite antiquey, but it was honestly gorgeous and the place smelled lovely. Plus, we had TWO pillows each which was the only place I got them throughout our 2 week trip. You're outside the main tourist hub of the city's old town, but it means you get to really know the true Istanbul and you're still within easy reach via public transport. We stayed in the old town for 3 nights at the start of the week and barely slept because of the noise, but had the best sleep at Queen Seagull! Thank you so much!
