The Sultanahmet Inn is very well located, close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. We have paid a little more to have a room at an upper floor, which was very nice and clean. Compared to the hotels in the same area with prices under 45 euro, the room was big enough. The bathroom was clean and modern. Very good Wifi. The breakfast included is not spectacular but good to start the morning and the view from the small garden of the restaurant was amazing. Also, on the top of the hotel there was a terrace from where you can see the Marmara sea and a part of Istanbul. Another good thing was that they have provided parking in the street (as the street is a dead end). Of course there are a lot of cars there and they move them around depending on the clients, but it was ok.

There is one aspect I didn't like. The hotel is very close to the train tracks, so you can hear the trains very well, sometimes very loud. Fortunately the trains don't pass during the night. The problem was also given from the fact that the window was not closing very well, having some gaps. I think if they fix the window to close tight, the noise will be much more reduced.

The hotel is pleasant overall. The only disadvantage is that there’s no lift. However, the staff is very helpful and will take your luggage up if you’re on the upper floors, so there’s no need to worry. All the receptionists were awesome and they understand English, which makes communication easy. The hotel offers the best value for money. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Hagia Sophia, and from there, you can easily use public transport. On the first day, we were given a room on the upper floor with a sea view as a complimentary upgrade, which was a delightful surprise.

Not a comment on hotel directly but taxi that was booked by hotel was a scam. Should only be TRY300 max from/to main international airport but driver wanted to charge TRY400. He left fare calculator on which said TRY280, got into an accident that was his fault, dumped my bags on the ground upside-down, and stole approximately TRY60 from me before driving off.

Very nice and welcoming hosts, clean room with very comfortable bed, delicious breakfasts, hotel is situated in a dead end so if you come by car you can park it safely and for free. Amazing view from the rooftop, excellent location for sightseeing Istanbul on foot. A small shop for basic things and restaurants just behind the corner

The location of the hotel is ideal for tourism - it is located 10 mins walking away from Ayaysofya, Blue Mosque, Ibrahim Pasha home and Topkapi. Same goes for tram line. Bus stop is not far away too. Moreover, just outside is a big variety of restaurants. The hotel itself offers hammam services. The room was cleaned every day. I chose the room with a sea view and it was actually there. There was always a person at a reception desk - he gave us his phone number which was convenient in case something goes wrong with a stay. Shampoo, soap and toilet paper was always there. Overall, I enjoyed the stay. It is perfect for active tourists like me.

I wasn't given A/C remote at first. When I asked for it, it was not working - seems like battery was leaking. However, the temperature was cold enough (15-20 degrees outside, end of April) not to have a need in it. I chose a room with a sea view, meaning it was located on the last floor (4th). However, there is no elevator making it troublesome to go upstairs if you have any health issues. To be honest, all of this jssues are minor and did not influence my holiday time.

The hotel is close to the most visited tourist spots and including the tram station. You do have a park spot in the front of the hotel and the staff is cleaning your room everyday. We stayed there for 5 nights and everything was perfect. You also have a terrace on the top of the hotel with nice sea & mosques view. The staff was veeeery friendly. They helped us with a lot of information each time we contact them on Whatsapp. Mehmet Saglam is your guy. He made our trip perfect giving us the rights tips & trick to follow in Instanbul, where to go to eat local food and even with a nice boat trip. We’ll definitely going to come back again.

I was staying here 2 nights with my daughter in November. We were both very pleased with the choice - I liked this small but comfortable place. The area was very quiet and cozy - narrow streets filled with little hotels, shops and restaurants. We especially loved the corner restaurant - we arrived pretty late and were hungry but found great food and atmosphere right by the hotel! The most amazing part was the roof of the hotel - just go up the stairs and you can enjoy the beautiful view of a night city. We loved coming back at night to our hotel after a day in a busy noise filled with people center city of Istanbul.

The place was very close to the city center, 10 min walk. We also liked the room itself, which was very clean.

The parking is very tight. The idea of leaving your car keys when you go out so they can move your car is not something people may resonate with.
