First and foremost thanks to all staff {top to bottom} they were great help, always smiling & professional. Great location close to Taksim square,{7-10 min walk} near by metro stations to go old city , Istanbul airport direct shuttles station (Havaist buses) nearby. Reasonable Breakfast included Overall, good facilities in the rooms (nice lockers with code). Beautiful covered terrace { breakfast area too} easy to meet other people, different events are organised often during the evenings. All in all value for money. would definitely recommend this hostel.

Very basic breakfast...… Lockers with code makes lot of noise which is irritating and disturbing Make parties until late night (loud music, a lot of noise). Good for some bad for some, I'm ok with it. Little hard to find the hostel.{inside the main road}.

The location is absolutely perfect just 5 minutes walk to the bus station and 10 minutes walk to the taksim metro station. The area is safe . I liked the breakfast and rooftop which was a nice place to communicate with others. Staffs were friendly and really helpful. In each floor there were 2 bathrooms and showers available which was quite enough.

Actually nothing but it would be great if there was a refrigerator and electric kettle in the hostel.

Great location, lovely roof top - nice for working, and lovely sunset. Strong WiFi. Very clean, room cleaned daily and clean towels each day. We had a room with a shower and shared the toilet which is fine as there are plenty on the floor. Breakfast is not as varied as the photos but convenient. Good local food places around for borek and coffee, as well as Cantine opposite. Friendly helpful staff and was all good arriving at 5am in the morning although we had booked the room from the day before! Would definitely go back ideally with less work to do!

Not much to not like - just the usual with working places - more plug sockets please! 😄 The option for hot drinks during the day whilst working - a kettle or urn with hot tub water to be still available on the rooftop?!

This hostel was exceptional! The room was clean and comfortable, and best of all - QUIET! This place was a perfect spot to make our home base as we explored the city for a few days. The location was perfect, we were within walking distance of Taksim Square and Istiklal Caddesi, along with the Çukurcuma district so everything was very accessible. It was also close to the Metro station which made getting to Sultanamet super easy. The hotel host was also super helpful in giving us city recommendations and directions on how to get around. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked this hostel twice and returned here for our final night in the city before flying home.

The provided breakfast was very much appreciated and offered a wide range of items, but it did not compare to other kahvalti meals that we had in the city.

- I liked the view in this Hostel, its location quite close to the Taksim Square and the station of the buses that come from Istanbul Airport. - I liked also the fact that had an elevator in the building so you wouldn't break your back (like in some other hostels i have been) bringing down from the 4th floor your luggages to the exit. - The staff was amazing, they were so helpful, Ali the guy in the reception was awesome, Özkan and the other people from the taste team and kitchen were also awesome. Whenever you needed smth they were ready to help you. - I liked the cleanliness in the hostel that you could easily notice it in the rooms, baths, and every other area. - I liked that fact that had free water for the clients, this is smth that quite rarely i have seen it in other hostels. - I had a problem early in the morning of the last day and i came after the check out time, but the guy in the front desk was reasonable and understood my situation didn't charge me for the extra hours that i had left my luggages closed in the locker or that i hadn't check out because i wasn't there. - The terrace was extraordinary, ohh...the best thing that i have ever seen in all the hostels that i have been so far. The view OMG was mesmerising, you could see all the Istanbul from that terrace and just get lost in the sightseeing. That place was a meditating spot for me !!! - Also i liked that they tried to organize events in the hostel so the clients could interact with each other and spend time enjoying the activities organized from the hostel. - The beds were very very comfortable ! Honestly if you don't mind for the cold water and the shared kitchen (that i explain it in detail below) that most of the other hostels i have been had it, its awesome !

I didn't like the fact that didn't have a shared kitchen, fridge, or even a shared cabinet. The water to get a shower was so god damn cold, there was no option for warm water. This is unacceptable. I tried to get a shower at 2 am, 9 am, and 2 pm and the water was in all the showers freezing cold. So beware tourists if you're the kind of guy/gal that likes to take a shower once in 2-3 days then be prepared for some shower like in the army or maybe even worse in terms of coldness.

Super friendly staff, very clean and nice rooftop. Also easily accessible from the airport with a straight bus to taksim.

We were on the first floor and you could hear people entering the building and slamming the door all night so needed to wear earplugs. Ask for a room on a higher floor if you want more quiet!

- Location close to Taksim. Plenty of shops around, easy to get around and reach public transportation. - the building looks recently renovated - lockers in the room have a customized pin method, great! - bunks are solid and every bed has a curtain, light, shelve, power points. Matress was in good condition. - although I did not spend much time in the property, the rooftop/chillin área looked pretty cool. - every shower room has hairdryer (although the one in the shower next door was damaged) - AC in the room - Breakfast is ok, I have seen better for this price. - free storage before check in and after check out

- The vibe was kinda odd to me. It seems like there is a remote workers community there or something, definitely not a backpackers hostel. - During breakfast there is no place to have a seat because all spots are taken by these guys with their laptops. As they seem to be working, nobody moves away during the whole morning so its kinda dificult to get yourself a place in between and also with the risk of spill over your tea in other guests devices. - long term belogings all around (underware being drying out in the toilet heaters, personal grooming products everywhere, Bags with food in the room)

I stayed at Wabi Sabi for 6 days. I thought I would move to explore all of Istanbul but enjoyed my time so much I stayed the full holiday. The staff are amazing. Helpful, friendly, welcoming. Good location. Extra large lockers for a large suitcase in every room. Very modern facilities with a hairdryer in every bathroom, curtains on the bed.

helpful staff, great location, clean facility for private locker for each good breakfast though the menu remains the same everyday the terrace area was fabulous ( and hence populated most of the time)

No place / chair to sit in the dormitory other than on your bunk bed ( which is esp tough when you’re on an upper bed) Should have had a provision of a paid dining Need a facility for portable water (and which should be free of charge) No (little) extra space outside the bunk bed area
