Luxury design and ambiance, relaxing elegant music and smell the minute you enter the lobby. staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. beach was clean with nice views. the food was exceptional the Italian restaurant Piatti was wonderful, not to forget the best sushi we ever had in the Japanese restaurant. it was a beautiful experience to be honest.

the only down side is and no adults only pool. and when you are relaxing on the beach and you have a lot of families with kids and babies crying and playing loudly, and I suggested to the hotel that they should have some sort of separation when they seat the guests. the beach is long and you can easily give one side to families and the other side to couples who are here to relax and enjoy their time without babies and kids. i don’t have kids and I want to enjoy my time! of course and families with kids wants to enjoy their time as well, but not on my expense right!

The rooms were very spacious and grand . The staff were very helpful , welcoming and made you feel special . We were happy with the unlimited cold water in our room and pool , as well as a fruit bowl each day

Really as close to perfect as it gets - one of the best hotel experiences in my life. Location is excellent as far as the Palm is concerned. The facilities are maintained to an amazing standard and you can really see any small deficiencies being fixed live on an ongoing basis. The rooms are generous, thought through - cleaned instantly on request and otherwise twice a day. Food at the main restaurant has been high quality, real restaurant experience unlike frequently seen in buffet set-ups (alternative on-site restaurants are ok but incredibly expensive). Staff and personnel have been truly amazing - thoughtful, friendly, forthcoming, always willing to help and very patient with our baby. Everything about the beach and pool experience has been great - easy/flexible set-up with sun beds, towels, everything is really centered around guests’ comfort. The ambience is rich and as per description - not a huge fan of gold entourage but it is what is. Prices are high of course but reasonable for what you get - plus with an offer it was really amazing value for ~$500/night incl half board. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation with a baby

Spa has been very pricey (uniquely so really) - haven’t used it but my wife wasn’t impressed (for the price in particular)

Funny payments set up. Free cancellation pay a few days before booking but they haunted for payment. Once here they don’t take a card copy, they ask you to deposit money? If you don’t, which we didn’t, you get haunted for payments that should go against your room and do anywhere else. Made some things a little uncomfortable, like they think you won’t pay.

Loved the room. Very big and really beautiful. I really liked the staff, especially the men who work near the pool, they take very responsible care of everyone bathing in the pool. Very nice environment.

I didn't like the shore of the sea it felt like a many piece of cement had been thrown into it. It is so sharp that it cuts even the foots. I also didn't like the breakfast, very little choice and poorly presented. I also didn't like the staff at breakfast, you can see that they don't have time and it's such a mess. I also didn't like the staff working at the reception, they do their job very unprofessionally.

What did I like, let us say what could not be liked, I went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and since check in you feel that your request is handled all the way. John at the reception was so helpful, cheerful and described the whole process effectively. Perfect reception. Room was super amazing and decorated with rose petals for my Wife birthday which was surprising and very pleasing for her. Restaurant experience was really amazing. Mr. Hany made us feel like very welcomed and was so helpful and available. Also We have run into Mr. Tarek, Director of Operation, he was out there at the breakfast helping the staff to get orders by him self, I almost mixed him up as a guest :). When he knew that it is my wife's birthday, they got a piece of cake and celebrated her. Nothing can describe how special that was except the joy and big smile on my wife's face, and this is what I only desired from this stay. They managed to make it super memorable. Daisy from the towel station and Wasim for beach restaurant, both were super welcoming and cheerful. Guys, you have an extra ordinary staff really and you should be proud of them. I might be biased, but honestly the hotel and rooms are like you are staying in a PALACE with 7 stars services.

The hotel looks like in a fairytale, it's like staying in a palace. The room and the view were amazing. The food at Matagi and the Afternoon Tea in Bluthner Hall was beyond words. There are lots of activities for kids and a kids club so the main pool area is still quiet and you can relax there or at the beach. Much less noisy and more intimate than other 5* hotels nearby.

If you like a long stretched and wide beach, with big waves and being able to swim deep into the Persian Gulf, Madinat Jumeirah hotels might be a better option. Also if you are looking for an Aquapark experience Madinat Jumeirah (Wild Wadi) or Atlantis might be a better option. Excluding those parts (which for some might weigh more than for others), Raffles beats the fore-mentioned hotels with it's class and splendour.

Everything. If you want to feel like royalty just go there everything is top quality I would highly recommend.
