nothing not to like

My partner and I stayed here over New Years Eve and had the most wonderful get away . From the moment we were welcomed at reception the service was exceptional and this continued throughout the stay. The breakfast was high quality and dinner in the restaurant was amazing . The rooms exceeded our expectations and we lived the little touches such as Lastra farm and 2 small bottles of Prosecco for NYE. Thank you for such a memorable stay :)

I love the setting. The staff was amazing. Dogs were truly welcome. Even though we didn't take our dog, we would in the future I loved the food. It was nice to have a mini fridge. The bedroom was very comfortable. There was a large shower cubicle. It was nice to have a garden but needed garden furniture. There was a picnic table but too small for adults to sit comfortable. I was so jealous of next doors chairs. I would certainly stay again. Just loved my time there. Arrived home fully relaxed and content

The short walk to Gatehouse where our room was. Car could travel at speed close to us. There is no pavement to walk on, too short to bring a car. The seating area was uncomfortable as there was a sofa bed and one small chair. The garden felt like a farmers field covered in grass. It had deep hiding uneven ground. Only ventured once as my balance is not the best. Still an amazing place to stay.

Great friendly place to stay. Room separate to main building with veranda and chairs to sit out and look at the beautiful views (past the car park). Room not very big but well appointed - very comfy double bed, wardrobe, inside it had an ironing board and iron; dressing table, hairdryer, 2 bedside tables , chairs, TV, and a good shower. Liked the small tea/coffee making tray thought that was such a neat thing. Excellent hot breakfast and I mean hot, unlike some places where it comes out warm. We had evening meal in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, food fresh and cooked perfectly so went back following evening. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff. In fact can't praise the staff enough they were brilliant. Will definitely stay again if in Anglesey.

The fan in bathroom was quite loud and stayed on for a long time, but suppose can't be helped. Having a light over bathroom mirror would be useful. A lighter duvet for summer as we were quite hot and as I've said before on other reviews a top sheet would be nice. These are minor things still think it is a fantastic place to stay.

Breakfast: choice of eggs/bacon/sausage etc with cereals/yoghurts, pot of fresh Summer fruits/ eggs on toast with avocado, smoked salmon...Owner/restaurant manager made you feel that they genuinely wanted to make your stay exceptional. Room was large with sitting area and view of the (very lovely) countryside. Very comfortable bed. Everything we ate in the restaurant was delicious (a choice of seafood/fish, meat (lamb, beef), various vegetarian dishes, tasty not bland, wonderful desserts. Everyone who worked there was, without exception, smiling, attentive and courteous.

Third stay here. Brought our adult daughter for a birthday treat. The staff left a card and a little bottle of fizz in her room and wished her happy birthday at breakfast. This is typical of how warm and friendly they are here-many thanks, Elaine! Fabulous room with super king size bed; such a peaceful location; amazing breakfast- we had the veggie, vegan and full Welsh between us. All delicious, all impossible to finish due to such generous portions. Great location. Amazing weather-seems to have its own microclimate and always seems to be sunny! Lovely sunset views from the restaurant and bar area.

This family owned property is a gem! The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, the hotel it’s spotless, food delicious and the staff are some of the kindest and most accommodating people you can meet. Nothing was too much of an ask. In addition, this is truly a dog friendly hotel. We were there on our first night away from home with our large breed, very excited, 8 months old puppy and everything was provided for our convenience. From the surprise dog goody bag in the room to pet shower outside. Rooms are large and well equipped, and the property has ample parking. We’ve dine and had breakfast at the restaurant/bar onsite and loved how good everything was. The hotel also offers packed lunches and I can’t recommend them enough. We are looking forward to our next stay at Lastra

We loved everything about this hotel! Beautiful setting in the rolling countryside of Anglesey. This amazing hotel had all the extra touches, spacious room and lovely decor throughout. Restaurant was absolutley lovely, relaxed and the food was outstanding, large portion sizes and menu was fantastic with something for everyone. The staff were all so helpful, friendly and worked so hard to make everyone feel looked after. We had a wonderful stay here and will be recommending the Lastra Farm hotel to everyone! Just another gem on this beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Great welcome , friendly relaxed , doggy pack in room and mat..for dog bowls . accomodation excellent. All staff very polite including Lois who greeted us at reception..bed so comfortable and food excellent , hot and ample amount..shower spotlessly clean and hot. would we stay again..? If location was nearer main beach such as red wharf, benllech or newborough be brilliant ,. As that is Impossible it is irrelevant. So overall no complaints...

This is the second time we stay here. The pub serves great food. We had to wake up very early to catch the ferry from Holyhead, and they were very kind to give us a packed breakfast so we could take with us. They're very dog friendly, they greeted our dog with a bag of treats and a ball which she loved. The rooms are very comfortable. The area is super quiet and relaxing.

There's nothing we didn't like. Everything was great.
