Perfect location for our needs, nice size clean room, large t.v, comfy bed,nice size walk in shower, kettle plenty of coffee, tea's ect,,quite room,,quite hotel overall considering a town location,,easy parking around back of hotel,,pay and display,,lift was handy, nicely carpeted corridors,,quite in general,,obv food, drinks etc down stairs,,,lovely friendly staff on reception ect

One night no hot water,,but was told about this ,was soon sorted out,unfortunately view from room straight onto a wall ,but town location this can happen, but overall no problem

Room, facilities and all the staff were excellent, nice friendly atmosphere. I arrived with my 4 friends on motorbikes for the BSB event at Thruxton. I booked online and was of course slightly anxious as you never know. But everyone from the young lady on reception to the waiting and bar staff and cleaners and kitchen staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. We will. most definitely be returning for next years events and will be using your other hotels where we can. Thank you so much for accommodating us and making our trip that much better. Large room, and facilities in it were as presented online. We loved the fact that it was a walk in drench shower, and that the shower was lovely and hot too. We thought the roof terrace was fantastic, and a lovely unique feature, that you should advertise more. We enjoyed sitting up there in the lovely hot, and sunny weather. We used the bar/restaurant in the morning; the breakfast was very tasty and good value. The staff were polite and friendly. Thank you for your trouble.

The only one minor negative point I would make was that the bathroom sink was very slow, when the plug was pulled up and it was draining the water away. I don't know if this is normal, or if there was a blockage somewhere.

Perfect stop over for our trip. All the staff we dealt with were attentive and friendly. Room was very comfortable, Tea and coffee facilities well stocked. Including bottled water and biscuits. Had a lovely evening meal and a great breakfast. All served promptly. Yes it was very busy pub and being a Saturday night had a lot of young fun seeking clientele but the security team were visibly very efficient and were on the ball. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Can't fault it. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again if we are in this area.

Staff in this pub/hotel are nothing short of exceptional. I’ve stayed in top end hotels but every single interaction from booking in, getting a coffee or negotiating the corridor to our room was engaging and went above and beyond what I have became accustomed to with hotel staff. Very busy bar, staff at top of game and seemed like a constant cleaning regime going on in bar and rooms. 👍👍👍blackout curtains in rooms best I’ve seen and friends in two other local hotels complained about noise ours was practically soundproofed

The shower was lovely and hot all the time, the bed was comfortable. Coffee and bottles of water were placed in the room everyday with a change of biscuits. Quiet, I never got disturbed.

Shame breakfast wasn't included, I would have opted to have it more if it was. The TV was off center from the wall in relation to the bed which is my own OCD issues. It was bearable. Though I did come up with an idea to fix this. Move the bed and lights to the wall of the bathroom and the TV directly opposite the bed. There's still enough space for each person of the double bed to move out, as well as the TV being perfectly in line with the bed.

Some people may be put off by it being part of Wetherspoons but I can tell you the room was fantastic value for money, the gentleman was polite & friendly on reception and the breakfast selection along with value for money was superb. All the staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. The showers was great and there was a nice selection of hot drinks in your room.

Initially the parking was confusing but it was easy once explained (cheap all day public parking is available at the rear of the building).

…actually, the room. Helluva long walk, through loads of doors and up and down stairs… Room and decor fine, bathroom etc good. however it was one of the smaller hotel rooms I’ve been allocated and has two of the smallest windows I’ve ever seen, with an outlook that was just another external wall, so not particularly inspiring. I’m sure there are nicer rooms, it’s just that I want allocated one of those….

The room was not only good for the price but exceeded expectations. It was of course nice to have the services of the resturant / bar area at our disposal. The 11am checkout meant I could take part in the local parkrun and then freshen up. A great stay.

Shame the town itself is not what it once was (something outside of the control of Wetherspoon's). The only issue I had with the room was the showewr drain might need cleaning as it was slow to drain. Otherwise nothing to report.

Lovely spacious room. High spec lighting for each bed. Water pressure in shower was lovely. Shower cubicle and bath with overhead shower in bathroom. Fact that you could have 2 people showering/bathing at once was a valued bonus. Quality bedding and towels. Hot chocolate and oat milk, as well as tea and coffee. Free bottles of water. Homely colour scheme. No noise from other rooms/corridors. Ironing board and hairdryer. Plenty of hangers. Long length mirror. Magnified mirror in bathroom. Overall for the level of pricing, this was a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Sofa bed mattress quality was very poor, even my 10year old child could feel springs poking through.
