Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, the price was reasonable, and our room had all the necessary amenities. The hotel's location was another positive aspect. It was conveniently situated in Jewellery Quarter close to the city centre. This made it easy for us to explore the city and its surrounding areas without much hassle. Additionally, the proximity to public transportation options was a big plus.

While my overall stay was pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved upon, particularly the breakfast. The daily breakfast offerings became monotonous as they lacked variety. Another downside was the limited vegetable options available during breakfast. Apart from beans in sauce, there were no other vegetables provided.

I liked the ambience, the service, and the friendliness of most staff. The room was clean, spacious, and well fitted for my stay. Especially liked the shampoo/conditioner/moisturiser dispensers in the room, I wasn't expecting that - so pleasant surprise. Daily housekeeping, if needed, was also a bonus as some hotels only do 2nd and 3rd day. Massive TV, I didn't use it, but it would be great on another trip. Room came fitted with kettle and tissue box accompanied by daily tea and coffee refill. Close to tram stations and bus stop and easy access to shopping centre

There was a bit of mould in the bathroom upon inspection, but it was not a big issue. Some staff would be friendlier, especially when at the front desk. I've had on 2 occasions staff advised they would check something for me and had me wait on the lobby, and they didn't turn up with any response. The next time I saw them, they were leaving their shifts, and when inquired with the new shift workers, no details of my issues were handed over to them.

Room was a good size, staff were lovely and very helpful. Really central and took us about 10mins to walk to the bullring. Lovely breakfast hot and plenty to pick from. Would definitely recommend 😊

The only down fall was the sofa bed that was set up for my 2 children:- the bed sheet was dirty & mattress cover Was very dirty and had stains and lots of hair on. We arrived back from are meal on the evening late and are children were super tired so didn’t go to desk to ask for clean bedding we just sorted are selfs...but apart from that a pleasant stay

The hotel is situated in a great location for public transport. Metro and bus stop directly outside hotel. We got off the train at Birmingham New Street and got the metro which takes you direct to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. We got the bus direct outside the hotel and travelled to Dudley to go to Black Country Living Museum. £2 each way on the bus. Hotel is modern and rooms are very spacious. Free toiletries. Hairdryer and ironing board/iron in room. Tea/coffee making facilities. Large tv. Air conditioning in room. 24 hour reception. Bar. Breakfast included. Luggage storage. (We arrived before our room was ready so was great to leave our luggage and go out for the day. Also on day of vacation we left our luggage all day until we was ready to leave at 6pm)

My only complaint was the breakfast was great with the exception of the sausages. They tasted vegetarian not pork. Otherwise everything else was great. Plenty of choice. Hot or cold. Fruit juice. Hot drinks. Cereals. Waffle machine. Fruit. Yoghurts. Added bonus a toasting machine that toasted the bread perfect 😋

A very comfortable hotel and good value for money. Very clean room with all the necessary items. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would be happy to stay there again if I didn’t need car parking. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with a complete free for all so often not a relaxing experience

it wasn’t a problem with hotel but I wasn’t aware there are two hotels with the same name so I arrived at the wrong hotel. Fortunately the staff were exceptional and directed us to the correct hotel and allowed us to leave our car in their car park and directed us to the tram and where to get off, They also informed me that the hotel I booked had no parking facilities again this should be made clear.Apparently this often happens so clearer messages on the website regarding this situation would be help

The location was great. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars close by and only 15 minutes from New St. There is also a tram-stop right next door which we didn't use but good to know. The room was smallish, but had everything you needed - a comfortable bed, a desk and chair, an arm-chair and footrest. and a massive TV (I mean it, it was huge!). Breakfast was typical hotel buffet style - had the usual sausages, rashers. etc; and served until 10 at the weekends which is good. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

One of the staff seemed absolutely baffled when asked for a gin and tonic on our first night - As in, it was as if she had never heard of such a thing! That was really the only negative (and that was more a strange experience than a negative!)

I think breakfast could have a little salad like lettuce, cucumber, some small tomato because some visitors do not eat egg or bacon & would like the option of choosing a salad or some fish like tuna or salmon & think visitors like me who return should sometimes receive a bonus or a 20% or 25% discount to encourage us to return but overall experience good many thanks.

I didn't like the fact that there were only eggs & bacon & no salad for visitors who do eat meat / cereal Just to ensure the establishment also catered for everyone across the board that would make the experience more fantastic going forward but overall good.

Room extremely warm. Slept well in their comfortable bed. Lovely big television in the room. Bathroom well stocked with towels, facial clothes, hand and body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner. Great shower.

The additional bed in the room, we kept hitting our knees/legs on a notch - dangerous! Room 111 needs to be decorated. Could see rough plaster work on the wall. Broken tile on the bathroom floor. Sliding door to the bathroom needs attention - difficult to move, had to lift up for silent movement. Burnt holes in the curtains. Shower area needs attention too. Mould on clear hook for shower. Breakfast very basic. Supplier for sausages, too much black pepper!

The breakfast was good as you got to make your own waffles which was fun. The staff were friendly and the room was a good size. Plenty of loo roll too which was good because I have been tonplaces before where it's half or less of a roll left and you have to go to the front and ask for more. I didn't have to do that here. Plus the cleaning stagf were very helpful and friendly.

The rest of the breakfast was a tad limited especially the hot food. They also seemed to run out of a few items quite often. I also think there should have been another non milk option rather than soy. I can't have soy milk but I don't drink dairy so maybe an oat or almond option would jave been good. The room was quite tidy but the bed sheets were stained in a few areas. Also the location was a tad far for the price of the room. We haf a long walk into the city centre each day so I feel it cpuld have been cheaper.

The staff were really helpful and courteous when we arrived, the room was more spacious than I expected with it being a Twin Room, The bed was super comfy, and although I personally like a firmer pillow, my friend loved that the pillows were really squishy and soft. We also had a bit of a laugh at the wall that had a curtain on, without a window being there! The breakfast was also well stocked and was very tasty.

I think our toilet door/wardrobe door was slightly off its runner, as it wasn't as smooth as other rooms I've stayed in at this hotel, the lock for this same door was also not working as well as it should, due to a small "peeping" gap between the door and the frame, and where the lock bolt would have come across, the wood was chipped (possibly due to needing to get someone out of the toilet/shower room?). I may be being a little picky, but these small issues didn't affect our stay.
