11 out of 10 stars. Absolutely loved my stay. Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was well equipped and clean as well. I was visiting the area to attend a Rally Championship event, which meant that I had to leave the property each day very early (6am) which was too early to attend the breakfast which is served between 8-9am. But Shan (the host) offered to make us pack lunches each day. Which was delicious and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

Nothing. All was great or exciding my expectations. Great host, easy to communicate and prompt answers to all my answers before my stay.

We loved the hospitality we received from Shan and Phil during our stay. Shan is very friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We loved staying at Bro Dafydd - it is in a lovely peaceful village and our room had a beautiful view of the fields with horses and sheep. The surrounding area is very quiet. The room was cosy and very clean. It has a good sized bathroom. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there is more than enough food to set you up for the day.

Unfortunately we didn't have a car and the transport options from the village are limited to a few buses a day. It would be perfect with a car though.

The property was easy to find and only a 10 min drive to aber uni which is where we were visiting. The room was lovely amazing views and a good size . Bed was really comfy and nice and big . Perfect when sharing with my 6ft 1 teen. Shan the owner was fantastic couldn’t be more helpful with info ect. She also cooked a lovely big breakfast. I’d definitely stay again . X

No downsides at all , only wish we could of stayed longer and would of liked to fluff the beautiful puppy lol xx

The location was scenic and tranquil. We had a large comfortable room with a lovely view of the hills. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking spaces at the front. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Sian, the proprietor, was very friendly and welcoming.

We have nothing negative to say about our stay. We would be very happy to visit again in the future.

The B&B was lovely and we enjoyed watching the Red Kites circling the nearby fields. Shan, our hostess was very friendly and helpful..... she had lots of local information for us. Excellent breakfast, easy parking right outside. Situated in a lovely friendly village. .

Nothing...... except watch out for Google Maps sending you through very narrow lanes....we would advise sticking to the main roads!!

Breakfast was really nice and quite varied. The location was also superb, away from loud cities and towns. It is a bit of a trek if you don't have a vehicle to use unless like me, you are happy to walk to the train station at Bow Street which is roughly 50 mins walking from the B&B. Personally, I enjoyed it due to the nice views.

Shan at Bro Dafydd B&B was a real pleasure to meet and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The home is set on the edge of the village with pleasant views overlooking fields, very quiet, yet still only 10 minutes drive from Aberystwyth. The home cooked breakfast was beautiful, after which Shan offered some great suggestions for what to see and do in the region.

We should have stayed longer!

Lovely farm in quiet country location. Our very nice twin room had a beautiful peaceful mountain view. Shan cooked us great breakfasts and kindly had one ready for us early when we needed to leave early. She also gave us excellent tourist advice. We had a fabulous stay at Bro Daffyd; many thanks Shan 😊

Everything was perfect. The owner was so kind and welcoming, the place was spotless and so comfortable. Could have easily stayed for a month. The attention to detail was on point. I’m very fussy when it comes to food and only eat specific things. I was made everything to my specific standards and after only asking for bacon and toast I was given loads to compensate for the small meal without even asking. It was a true delight. The location was amazing and so convenient. Will be staying again! Definitely making it an annual thing.

I couldn’t tell you a single thing that was wrong with it. Everything was perfect and everything we asked for was delivered. Only issue was that one of our party wanted a bath and one wasn’t available despite what was told to us on the website but that’s just how it is and even so it’s only a small thing.

The location is excellent, set in a quiet spot in lush green hills within easy reach of the coast. There are lovely views from all the bedrooms either to the front or rear of the property. Our room was a good size with a very large and comfortable. bed. The breakfasts were just right. Our host Shan was friendly and gave us useful suggestions for days out.
