Very attentive staff , very switched on and a pleasure to holiday with. Not one member of the team didn't put a negative vibe across , whole experience from check in to dinning in restaurant, lovely cooked food ,quality of food produce and high standards of service . Well done team . Accommodation was comfortable, clean and well presented and is currently getting refreshed to a more modern standard. Room maid was very pleasant and friendly. We also booked onto a SUP (stand up paddle board) taster session with their linked business. Cath our instructor was very professional and good fun to spend the afternoon with , lots of giggles and new skills learnt. Lovely experience, looking forward to returning. Good value for money. Simple bunkhouse accommodation - clean, comfortable beds and en suite. Kitchen facilities very good and we liked the flexibility of being able to feed ourselves if we wanted, or eat out.

We'd have appreciated somewhere a bit more comfortable to sit in the evening. Our room only had beds, and the tables in the adjoining pub were virtually all set for people who were eating. The tables in the kitchen were really the only inside space to sit. We travelled in an all electric car and would have greatly valued the ability to charge up overnight at our accommodation. Local public charging was hit and miss and we spent our precious daytime, driving around looking for a working and available EV charger.

The room we stayed in room 8 had a window that would not shut! The Owners knew about it and said they have someone coming to fix it within the next 7 days! Room wasn’t cold but the Road noise was loud until after 10.30pm as we couldn’t shut the window. In the morning the bird chorus of noise walk me up at 5pm again because of the window. We are not used to having to use a separate kitchen for tea and coffee making so that was a bit of a pain! We booked the room nearly 6 months ago for £70 which was very inexpensive- However we have have heard it is now over £100 for the same room? No Hairdryer 2 bath towels, but no hand towel. Fairly basic for groups of people, very busy. The Pub side was busy and wine prices very good.

The on-site bar and restaurant is a real plus here with outstanding plates and plenty of vegetarian options. Rooms are basic but functional with own bathroom with shower and kitchen is ideal for self catering alone or as a large group. Fort William is an easy 20 minute drive along road with stunning views.

Midges were bothersome in the evening but that's only to be expected here in August and is a good reason to sit in the wonderful bar! Mattresses are not the best quality but adequate for my needs.

No disabled parking, but I feel if I had prewarned that they would have dedicated a space with a cone for us or something, so that's on me too. First Night was fine to park. Second night was more difficult purely because of access for wheelchair. Luckily there was 2 of us.

Stayed 2 nights and it was the perfect place for 2 days hiking around and in Fort William (15min away by car)! The property is suitable for such stay! The most interesting for us is they offer the facilities (fridges) to store own food, to cook and a big common room to eat! In addition they have a nice restaurant-bar where you can have breakfast, have dinner or just drink whisky or beer! I recommend!

The address mentioned provided by booking.com doesn't seem to be the good one! It's located half mile away! The owner seems to be aware of this as when I called him telling him I was "lost" he seemed to know where I was and he kindly indicated me the way to the hotel! But this is a small detail!

I found the room comfortable we had a beautiful view outside from window . The beds were very comfortable and u had plenty of towels to hand there was a small tv . I found it quite nice . There is a shared kitchen which was clean and tidy has everything you need with containers to store any food to go in fridge

The only downside is the shower feel they need updating .

We stayed twice at each end of a week holiday in the Outer Hebrides . Our outward stay was great. The location was a bonus. The return stay had minor imperfections. A window that wouldn't close fully; a squeaking shower door and a low water pressure on the shower. Overall Roam West served our purposes. The location afforded us rest after long journeys and a range of walks and wild life inc red squirrel habitat. We would certainly use it again. Thankyou.

It is a nice place, run by very friendly people, situated near the Corran ferry (great location to go hiking!). We enjoyed our stay there because the room was comfortable, the restaurant was convenient and had very good food, and overall there was a wonderful atmosphere. We loved having access to a shared kitchen, and having ample space in the room for all our luggage.

We found the shower a bit difficult to use, and the floor may definitely need some refurbishing, but overall everything was fine! There were not many towels to dry the dishes in the shared kitchen so we had to leave our dishes on the rack to dry.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked, but it’s kind of a bunk house scenario but with hotel rooms. Kitchenette available providing a toaster, fridge, kettle, freezer, crockery and cutlery, cooker and microwaves. Beds were clean and comfy. Other guests were friendly. Great location and view.

We were in a room next to the entry/exit door, which people didn’t always consider shutting quietly! People outside our room smoking and the horrible, ugly cigarette box being to close to the room (when we had window open it smelled nasty!) The light in the bathroom is motion censor. But sometimes you only had to walk past the door and it set it off, which ain’t helpful at night as the light stays on then for some time. Both issues are fixable and I hope they are - as we would stay again. Also had some issues with my payment being attempted prior to our stay. This happened a couple of times. Spoke to someone who said it wouldn’t happen again.
