I made a mistake with my booking - Amanda & Rob were wonderful in communicating over it & helping me sort it out. This was much appreciated, especially as they were abroad on holiday at the time. Also, the lady looking after the cottages on their behalf brought us butter. All very kind.

Quiet, & peaceful- lovely hideaway, but within reach of most facilities

No a dislike, but suggestion- Upper beeches- could do with a small staircase light- just so that it’s easier to find your way to kitchen, without disturbing partner . Sofa bed- despite topper, was reportedly uncomfortable. Radiator to 1st floor bedroom- not functioning? as reported by user, as cold?

In a great location. Very nicely laid out with plenty of room and very comfortable.

Stairs up to the top two rooms were very narrow and steep, but we managed okay.

The rooms are really large and the whole place is nicely decorated throughout They provided a cot, stair gate and high chair for my daughter and there's children's cutlery which is a great touch. We had a great time in a lovely part of the world and would happily visit again.

The property was gorgeous. Very spacious and clean, and well equipped with kitchen appliances for home cooking. Would definitely stay again.

A great property for accessing some of Somerset’s best attractions. Set in a very peaceful location at the end of a private road, the property is beautifully decorated and well appointed, with very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The local pub - a five minute walk - has very friendly staff and serves good food. A perfect spot for a countryside break.

always an absolute pleasure staying here. both cottages are beautiful and the owners are a great help and very friendly. always give you some treats for your stay

welcome was warm, welcome basket was inviting, and there were board games, baby beds, and kitchen utensils a plenty. made it feel a real home-from-home. room sizes were also very generous.

not much going on in oak hill so need a car. big shout out to the oak hill inn though - very tasty food!

Clean and comfortable and lots of facilities. Great location.

Only issue was we had 2 cars and only space for 1 as two other vehicles were parked in our allocation.

The hosts left us a freshly made loaf of bread and some milk in the fridge, which was a lovely touch to our stay. We were also given a complimentary bottle of champagne due to difficulties with the oven. The host even went as far as cooking our dinner for us on the first evening. The hosts were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.
