1. There is a luggage storage area where I left my bag for the whole day after checkout and came back for it in the evening before I left Leicester. Very very handy for tourists 2. The windows do open btw for good aeration. Not of much help now that the summer is behind us but it was helpful still for warmer days 3. My room had a beautiful sunrise view. The side facing the front of the stadium

1. The bathroom drainage was very very slow. At some point, my legs were floating in my own shower water. 2. This particular holiday inn was not very generous with its breakfast variety. That Buffett was very limited. One type of yoghurt, one type of egg, 2/3 fruits at most …

The location was convenient for us. It is not far from the center of the city, you can walk for 30 minutes, and it is fashionable to use public transport or a taxi and generally get there very quickly. Breakfasts were very basic. I wish there were vegetables or at least a salad and more fruit. But the price-quality ratio is excellent.

Perhaps the breakfasts should be improved a little. It would be nice if they were more healthier by including more fruits and vegetables. There was a dent on the door from previous guests. That did not affect rest, it was only visually noticeable.

location is very convenient when you drive in to Leicester. Breakfast staff were very helpful in providing gluten free food.

AC wasn’t working in our room. working in hotels myself I recognised the error code and told reception.

It was ideal location for purpose of our stay, it was close enough to De Montfort Hall to walk if u want too but also close enough to get a cab for under £10 and definitely ideal if an away fan travelling for a game. Staff were all great, helpful and friendly, but special shout out to young lady at breakfast on Sunday running around on her own sorting us all out. And the young lady that checked us in on the Saturday and was working the bar in her Leicester shirt on the Sunday. She welcomed us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable with her professionalism, customer service and banter also recommended some great places for food and drink. Also the canal behind the hotel is a nice walk.

Only real complaint was constant hum coming from the stadium, the rooms were hot the air con didn’t cool the room enough so needed window open but the hum at night was loud.

Easy to find next door to the football ground , parking on the grounds , a nice and easy steady 20 min walk to the centre where there is plenty of choice of eating places and shops .Plenty of historical buildings mixed along side the new so great for sight seeing . Nice walk on the canal which runs very close to the hotel . Staff brilliant , hot cooked breakfast excellent , great choice to chose from , Rooms not much different to the normal standard hotel room but clean and tidy and all the facilities that you need . Decent bar next to reception . Won’t really fancy stopping here though on match days unless you are a big football fan as I would think it would be very busy and noisy .

Couldn’t find any thing wrong Apart from I wouldn’t suggest you stop here on match days unless you are a football fan .

The breakfast was nice decent range, had lovely clean rooms. I love how the toilet can be separated from the rest of the bathroom. We used the bar downstairs as well staff were friendly especially Priya. Some of our extended family stayed at ibis and in comparison Holiday Inn was way better!! We had booked 6 rooms and they defo accommodated us to be all together we were on the same row and rooms huddled together. Bed and bathroom was very clean.

A/c was unfortunately out of order but we got supplied with fans that was the only issue we had.

Location … we caught a bus to the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were nice. 5th floor of the river was nice.

The lights were all linked up so you couldn’t put an individual light on ….. eg: When I wanted to read in bed … I would have woken my partner up by putting ALL the lights on ! No central heating. There was a portable heater that we used. No AC working. Screaming kids with loud phones and iPads at breakfast !

The breakfast was simple but everything we needed and very reasonable considering the price. The room was a good size and had a desk. It was quiet but opposite the hotel is a football stadium, which we did not realise, so perhaps when there is a match, it would not be so peaceful.

There was nothing much we didn't like. We tried to find somewhere nearby to eat, but the options were limited to a McDonald's drive through or a kebab shop, but if you are driving rather than walking, perhaps it would be easier to find a better quality restaurant.

Great to have parking, comfortable accommodation and very pleasant helpful staff. Sakis from Greece was a very hardworking and pleasant member of the team who ensured our breakfast were first rate, there was a good variety of hot and cold food. The rest of the team gave us information about areas of interest in Leicester and further afield in Derbyshire, we had a great stay. We would recommend a stay at Holiday Inn Express.

It was adjacent to Leicester Football Stadium which wasn't a problem for us as there wasn't any matches during the week days whilst we were there but would be a brilliant location if you were a football fan.

The location was superb, and the room was clean and quiet. Free parking was really appreciated, as was the wifi. Breakfast was also good, and despite being later in the session, it was quiet and plenty of food available - the coffee was good.

The USB ports in reception didn’t work. There was no food available (but we were given instructions on a local pub). The room was really warm, but the air con was a little noisy. The pillows were too full and hard. The coffee and tea in the room was a little disappointing.
