Everything was good enough.

The sink in the bathroom is a little blocked, because it takes so long for the water to full drain through the draining system it leaves behind residue of dirt like things once the water is drained. When I came in the room because the cleaner would have cleaned everywhere and used the tap to squeeze a cloth the sink was rather dark in colour, this is not the cleaners problem as this is almost not avoidable unless the drains been cleared. I think this is something that absolutely has to be sorted. Thank you for your time. I need to return to Leicester so I may stay there again.

The booking.com reservation confirmed two double rooms. On arrival, we were told the Ibis had run out of double rooms prior to our reservation being made. The duty manager was extremely apologetic for a problem not of his making, explained that this often happened when using this search app and advised that if we were ok for twin rooms for one night, he would guarantee the change of beds asap the following morning. Additionally, he added full breakfasts to our room only reservation, ensured we had complimentary use of the bar throughout our stay and personally oversaw the whole matter. Rooms were very clean and the whole matter was resolved very quickly and satisfactorily.

Though very close to the railway station, the hotel is on the main road, in case you’re looking for somewhere tucked away.

The Leicester Ibis offered efficient check in with courteous helpful staff. The room had everything I required, toiletries drinks and a very functional bathroom. Breakfast was vast. English.. Continental..cereals. Juice .. yoghurt etc At night there was some road noise but the hotel is in the centre and to be expected but really wasn't a nuisance with the comfortable bed . All staff members were there if needed but I was left alone otherwise. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for solo travellers and families, it offers good value and is better than a budget hotel...I'll definitely stay again

Nothing to dislike. Book it! Maybe an extra electrical or usb socket at the bedside

Always a smile and a greeting from all the staff. Nice to sit and eat breakfast and watch the traffic rushing by. Very convenient for the railway station, and also easy to access by road.

The shower hose was leaking so a lot of water went down the hose or wall. The TV suddenly went off and even a second remote didn’t help. (The picture came back just as suddenly as it went off); Always a long wait for the lift! My card would not work at check in but it did work at the bank an the shops

Really good location. Room was fair size. Shower was good.

There wasn't anything I "disliked", but there were a couple of little very minor probs. The noise outside from the road and trains at night can be quite loud, but not horrendous. The door was locked and couldn't get an answer when I returned from my gig. There was no way to get in. Eventually someone buzzed the door, but no one told me at any point that there would be a time when we couldn't get into the hotel. I had been out working so I was late in. Around 4am. Lastly, the website said no car park, so I parked up elsewhere on first night with prepaid ticket, to find they had a car park, when I arrived. Should probably be ammended on site. These are all minor though. None of them bothered me particularly.

Definitely in the centre of town. Nice room, good powerful shower, nice bed, felt clean and comfortable.

Strange man working on reception. Had a lot of opinions. I had to wait in reception for ten minutes before the strange man came. No apology of course. The bar area smelled of eggs and fish, depending on what was be cooked. The entrance looks like the staff exit so if you have never been before it's a bit confusing. I have stayed in the Ibis in Amsterdam before so I had an indication of what to expect and, although not as good an experience, my room price was about £50 cheaper so maybe that's why?

It provided what we needed for a one night stay. We were lucky enough to arrive in time to have an on site parking space which was a real advantage as I have a knee injury and this makes walking any distance difficult. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was basic but perfectly adequate and breakfast was plentiful.

It would have been a problem if I had needed to park in the train station. Although staff were very helpful in acquiring taxis at the beginning at end of the evening , the service was not very good and left us waiting around to be taken to our venue.

Location was perfect for us to go to the show we had planned. Hotel is overall good value for money Nice lounge to sit in. Staff very helpful and friendly Particularly Amit chandehoke he was so helpful and friendly and professional, a credit to Ibis. Room was fine, shower great.

We were in a room where the carriage way is and very noisy all day and night. The bed was too hard, we both had a sore backs all night. Kettle wasn’t cleaned properly it smelt awful inside so had to clean ourselves before using.

Rather welcoming structure, very tidy. Excellent for relaxing and resting. I found everything I needed useful for a one night stay.

I didn't like the rude manner of the girl at the reception, perhaps tired of her end of shift. She didn't allow me to check in early and didn't seem willing to offer me anything else. I waited at the bar for two hours. Was tired of the marathon that I had finished in the morning, shortly before. Too bad they hadn't read my message on booking.

Location is ideal if coming via train as probably only a 10min walk away max (We came via Car). Very clean, tidy and welcoming hotel on enetering. Staff are friendly and polite. The twin room we had was on the small side but comfortable, clean and tidy. Ideal for a couple of days away. Had everything we needed. Shower very good/easy to use. The food all good and just as good as the food you would expect in nearby cafes and pubs. Would recommend

Very small amount of hotel parking spaces which were all taken when we arrived around 5pm. Had to park in the nearby train station car park, paid £8 which is a wkend flat rate (Fri- Sun). The one lift in the hotel seemed to sometimes be in high demand, by staff and guests, which meant you sometimes found yourself going in the opposite direction to the floor you requested initially.
