The City Rooms

It was in a great location. The room was huge with a comfy bed. The nearby clock tower disturbed me a bit (although not an unpleasant sound) but the second night was better when I actually used the ear plugs provided.

The stairs up to the room were very steep and narrow - glad I didn't have too much luggage. You need a PhD to use the TV and the bathroom was a little tired in places. The car park was very small and narrow - challenging to use in a larger car.

the room was very nice and clean, it had a tea/coffee station as well as bottled water, biscuits and clean towels. the whole venue is very nicely decorated and self check-in was quick.

my only issue was the ringing of the clock tower every half an hour, which isn't up to the hotel but can be hard to deal with for light sleepers. the hotel provided ear plugs. another thing is that the door to the bathroom and bedroom did not close properly.

Everything was perfect the table and the provided product also were good quality. The bedroom was so beautiful and cozy.

The refrigerator. The refrigerator was not working at all sometimes it starts working and sometimes it's totally off the only reason I have is that I didn't get the item which I have booked the hotel for.

The room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and tidy with soft, fresh towels and good selection of hot beverages to choose from. The bed was also comfy and warm. I couldn't fault it.

Safe key box was a bit fiddly but manageable. Although the chiming of the clock tower was heard, it didn't disturb me too much

Absolutely massive room and bathroom. Great central location. Earplugs a great touch to offset the noise outside. Breakfast was awesome.

Earplugs provided meant I didn't have to listen to the church bell go every 15 minutes, also a manual for the espresso machine would be really helpful. Thanks!

I cannot fault anything There was a warning of maybe some noise I had the window open and heard nothing

Good location and huge room and bath room.

The reception is not 24 hours open, only 2pm-5pm, we cannot leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. It makes me hard to sightseeing.

The rooms are in a beautiful building and very central. On site parking. Easy contactless check in. Any questions i had from the time of booking until our stay were answered promptly

I like the locations of the hotel, it was in the centre, close of where I was working and also close to the train station which is was ideal.

The hot water took time to get warm.

they pre wanted me there was an event at the hotel and they may be noise. it was totally fine - I got to the room and they had left me ear plugs just incase. lovely little touch that didn’t go unnoticed. the guy who works here who checked us In was incredibly friendly and made our stay 10/10
