The Garden Room was perfect for our needs, spotlessly clean with a large variety of beverages, comfortable beds, abundant hot water and super soft towels. Breakfast was delicious (having opted for the full breakfast ) with a wide choice of cereals to start and a tasty, well presented cooked option. My wife chose scrambled eggs on toast…with grated cheese, which was also very flavoursome. The gardens, with seating areas, were available to use with lovely views of the Welsh countryside. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them.

There is nothing not to like at Plas Newydd Farm !!

Breakfast was fabulous - best omelette ever! Location is very handy to Swansea and, especially, the wonderful National Botanic Gardens. Diane was a friendly helpful host. Although not currently a working farm, it was great staying in an authentic farm setting.

I wish I could rate more than 10, I’d give it double!! We stayed travelled up yesterday from Cornwall to stay for one night with my partner and two children- on arrival we were greeted so kindly, and shown around the absolutely gorgeous gardens of the property! Such views, and what a beautiful home! Diane and Paul were really such lovely kind hosts, and not forgetting their two beautiful doggies! Woke to a GORGEOUS cooked breakfast and condiments which really was delicious after a lovely sleep in very comfy bed’s!! Would go back and do it all again!

Absolutely nothing!! The best B&B we’ve stayed in!

Plas Newydd Farm is in a quiet location, ideally situated on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. The owners are really friendly & welcoming. Our room was spacious & very comfortable with a large en suite. The garden & patio areas are lovely with beautiful views. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. There was a huge selection of cereals, fruits, jams etc. we were spoilt for choice. Our cooked breakfast was amazing ! All the food was fresh, hot & plentiful ….. delicious ! We liked the idea of preordering too! We enjoyed everything about our stay & hope we will return soon.

Wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were tasty and beautifully cooked. Dietary needs (gluten free / dairy free) were well catered for. We took our dog who was happy to walk around the farm area, however we kept him on the lead near the horses. We had a lovely garden area too and enjoyed sitting there admiring the magnificent views.

Internet in our room was sketchy but we don’t go on holiday for connection to the outside world. It was good enough for essentials.

The location is great with it being very close to major roads but with a very rural feel and lovely views from its hilltop situ. The rooms are clean and comfy with all the facilities that you need. The garden is a great place to relax of an evening with tables, chairs and a BBQ. The breakfasts are substantial and delicious with a wide choice of hot or cold fare (the eggs are from the farm chickens). The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It was all good really but just one teeny weeny improvement - I had a little trouble deciphering the handwriting for the WiFi password. Nothing else because they had no control over the weather.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was great too, the gardens, the views, the amazing breakfasts in the lovely dining room (the choices were brilliant) Best of all the hosts, Paul and Dianne, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, all in all a beautiful B&B at a very good price 😊

The mattress in the family room double bed was very hard and extremely uncomfortable. The noise from the M4 was very loud all night Sunday and Monday if the window was open ( which I needed) if closed one could hardly hear the traffic 😕,one other small thing was the Yankee candles lit in the dining room were quite overpowering at breakfast time.

The owners were great and ensured thay our stay was enjoyable. The room was clean, of a good size, and had everything required for staying overnight. There was even a dog blanket for our dog! We had access to the garden, and we were shown were the dog could go. Breakfast was included and it was lovely and plentiful. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and there were homemade jams for your toast. There were famous views from the property.

Really lovely hosts. Good value for money. A good location from which to explore towns like Llandeilo and Llandovery. Incredible views from the garden area where we sat for most of the evening. Comfortable and homely and the bathroom had products such as shampoo and shower gel to use. The breakfast was very nice. I especially enjoyed the range of homemade jams and marmalade. All in all, very good value for money. Diane - thanks for the recommendation for antiques shops. We had a great day and came away with some bargains.

Nothing - everything was just so.

Paul and Dianne was very Helpful friendly attentive to our every need even down to allowing our daughter to go and pet their horses.The farmhouse is immaculate, very welcoming and homely, the breakfast was a proper farmhouse English and set us up for the day... Delicious cooked breakfast delivered on a platter so we could help ourselves to as much or as little as each person wanted on there plate. Will definitely be coming back as we have friends close to the farmhouse so would like to make this our go to place to stay when visiting.

Unfortunately our stay was for only one night.
