Large comfortable bedroom, with table and chairs. Lots of mirrors. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Good bathroom with shower. Plenty of parking. Nice location with hills behind and overlooking bay. Restaurant room with view. Mature trees and Parc Howard nearby.

Dark bar with no windows for meals as restaurant room only currently used for breakfast. Wasn’t aware of this when I booked. Was told weddings were held there on weekends and to expect noise, but the hotel was very quiet. Hotel not as old as expected as castellations on front are fake, and my ground floor room on the side overlooked houses.

The staff were all so friendly can't praise them enough. So hard working too. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a friendly smile. Clean and spacious room. Impressive reception and breakfast room I like a quiet hotel so I can sleep and it certainly was. The hotel is obviously a work in progress but our room (upgraded to double sea view ) was clean and tastefully decorated. Serviced daily by a smiley young lady. Our bathroom was dated but clean. Shower good. Don't be put off by reviews of poor rooms they are doing their best and excellent value for money. We walked the cycle path from just outside hotel to millennium walk by the beach daily.. An excellent facility we walked to Burry Port one day and can recommend. We did catch the bus for return journey though.

If being picky didn't like eating in conservatory no atmosphere or view. The food however was excellent and not expensive..

I was pleasantly surprised by Stradey Park. The price was fantastic, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The rooms were clean, with a large, cozy bed, and the location offers beautiful views of the town and coastline on clear days. The highlight, however, was the food – it completely blew me away! The hotel seems to have a very talented and passionate chef, the meals were phenomenal. As a chef myself, I have to give a special mention to the quality of the cuisine. It was truly a standout feature of my stay.

While the overall experience was great, the reception could use some improvement. The staff were attentive, but the initial interaction at check-in felt unenthusiastic. The reception is the first point of contact, so a friendlier and more engaging attitude would have made for a better first impression. Additionally, the bathroom was adequate, though not perfect, which is understandable since the hotel is still in the process of reopening.

The room was clean and spacious with a table and chairs to sit on instead of sitting in the bed when you wanted to relax. Plenty of choice for breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

We had an evening meal there on the first night which was disappointing. The croquette as a starter was hard and burnt on the outside and the inside dry and tasteless. Left it. The gammon was chewy and again ended up leaving some of that. There are nicer places in Llanelli to have an evening meal. Could do with better lighting in the bedroom

We are so happy that the Stradey Park Hotel has reopened. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast was excellent. It also represents very good value for money. It is in an excellent location for the town centre and has wonderful views.

The hotel was gutted ready for asylum seekers and they are now working hard to bring the business back to life. Therefore the rooms were quite basic and slightly tatty round the edges, but very clean.We felt the charge for the room represents this and were happy to accept any minor flaws. We really want this business to succeed and we shall definitely return soon. Many thanks.

Beautiful location. The property is in a lovely building. Staff were pleasant and professional. Free parking and excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Gemma was the only waitress on at breakfast but she was outstanding. She was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly and ensured all the guests were attended to, even checking that everyone had everything they needed before she switched everything off at 10.00am .

The hotel clearly needs a lot of work and has the potential to be stunning. The bedroom was clean but basic and the water was very hot with no cold water from the tap in the sink.

It’s a great venue, the room was huge and bed very comfortable.

The restricted menu was disappointing. We were there for 3 nights which the menu simply does kits cater for. You select your favourite in night one then are left with a repeat or less attractive choices. We did a repeat but the quality was not the same second time around, no doubt because the restaurant was much busier. It was particularly busy on the Saturday night and the same meal had hardly any sauce and was much smaller on other customers’ plates.

We had a really nice two night stay here last week. The staff were so friendly and bubbly, the beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We didn't eat dinner here so I cannot comment, but we had drinks both nights in the bar which was nicely decorated with plenty space. There is a lovely calm and welcoming atmosphere in the hotel and there's lots of seating around the hotel to chill in. I would definitely return to stay if I was to visit the area again. Loved the hotel, the surroundings, staff, restaurant, bar.. We had a lovely time and enjoyed. Good Internet and TV. Great food and nice evening atmosphere.

Pillows were way too hard and big. Room had a overpowering funny smell.. maybe cigarettes.. The bathroom door could not be closed properly, needs to shave the bottom of it a bit. The other room where parents stayed did not have any of those issues.. We still had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Lady on the desk was really helpful with my requests to local information and assisted me in getting laundry done due to the nature of my work. I cant thank her enough for the assistance and great knowledge in answering my questions. The breakfast was great, hot & cold selections, attentive service from the staff and set in a lovely room with a view of the bay.

There was a door in the room that possibly linked to the next room.
