Large comfortable bedroom, with table and chairs. Lots of mirrors. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Good bathroom with shower. Plenty of parking. Nice location with hills behind and overlooking bay. Restaurant room with view. Mature trees and Parc Howard nearby.

Dark bar with no windows for meals as restaurant room only currently used for breakfast. Wasn’t aware of this when I booked. Was told weddings were held there on weekends and to expect noise, but the hotel was very quiet. Hotel not as old as expected as castellations on front are fake, and my ground floor room on the side overlooked houses.

We are so happy that the Stradey Park Hotel has reopened. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast was excellent. It also represents very good value for money. It is in an excellent location for the town centre and has wonderful views.

The hotel was gutted ready for asylum seekers and they are now working hard to bring the business back to life. Therefore the rooms were quite basic and slightly tatty round the edges, but very clean.We felt the charge for the room represents this and were happy to accept any minor flaws. We really want this business to succeed and we shall definitely return soon. Many thanks.

Beautiful location. The property is in a lovely building. Staff were pleasant and professional. Free parking and excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Gemma was the only waitress on at breakfast but she was outstanding. She was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly and ensured all the guests were attended to, even checking that everyone had everything they needed before she switched everything off at 10.00am .

The hotel clearly needs a lot of work and has the potential to be stunning. The bedroom was clean but basic and the water was very hot with no cold water from the tap in the sink.

lovely and clean comfortable room with a large bed, staff friendly, 10 minute drive to the train station and close to the town amenities, bar was open late.

disappointed that this hotel advertises it has a spa but when enquiring a few days before arrival I was told that to use the spa I had to pay for a massage treatment which was £60 per person! we only wanted to use the hot tub and I was told that this wasn’t possible & to use the hot tub you had to purchase the treatment. I was also told it was fully booked anyway. from previous stays at other spa hotels the use of the spa facilities has always been complimentary so this is a real shame.

We had a really nice two night stay here last week. The staff were so friendly and bubbly, the beds were really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We didn't eat dinner here so I cannot comment, but we had drinks both nights in the bar which was nicely decorated with plenty space. There is a lovely calm and welcoming atmosphere in the hotel and there's lots of seating around the hotel to chill in. I would definitely return to stay if I was to visit the area again. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and professional. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant offered a good choice of breakfast. We have also booked a massage and a SPA package. It was great :)

The pillows were a bit too hard for my liking. Unfortunately the first night at 12.15 am, two guys were packing up a lorry, making a lot of noise, not just by banging around for over 1h but by talking loudly by our bedroom window which was on the ground floor. In my opinion, it would be better if they parked closer to the main entrance where they had all items to collect rather than by the room's window. I hope that the hotel staff can prevent it from happening next time to make sure the guest gets a comfortable sleep without being woken up in the middle of the night.

Quick easy checkin friendly welcoming young lady. Lovely room extra size bed so comfy,great views slept very well. The hotel was very busy with a wedding the hotel was buzzing, we ate in the bar that evening good choice from menu. Again staff could not of been more friendly and helpful. Had a nosey at the bar on the top floor, such amazing views over the bay it was closed such a shame would be a great Gin/ Cocktail bar especially with outside seated area. Excellent breakfast lots of choice, easy check out would definitely stay again if in that area again highlybrecommed.

There was nithing we disliked with our stay

The rooms were very clean and the reception area was very swish. The staff where really helpful and greeted us with a smile, we felt as if they were very happy you were there and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, loads of choice.

This hotel is obviously getting back on its feet and the rooms are a bit dated. Don’t let this put you off though, the staff try very hard and you feel genuinely welcomed.

Lovely hotel, great friendly staff. Very clean and good choice for breakfast. It was great to return after it being closed for a while and seeing some familiar faces among the staff.

Hotel seemed a bit bare and didnt have the homely feel that it used to. Restaurant closed at present but bar meals were available.That said it has only just reopened after being closed for a year and there is ongoing work and improvements being made.

Nice location, nice view, large room. Good quality bedding. Tea and coffee in room with hot chocolate. Chairs and table if you need to work from room.

Bathroom has a safety issue... bottom of bath is quite a bit higher than floor level. As you get out the shower/bath you lose your footing, as not expecting the level difference and a nasty accident could happen. Worth putting up notices bringing this to everyone's attention.
