The hotel is located close to the M40 motorway within an area of Brunel University campus used for student accommodation. This rooms in this hotel appear to have been created by knocking multiple student rooms together to create a huge room. Being located in a quiet part of the campus and a considerable distance from any major thoroughfares all rooms in the hotel should be very quiet; mine certainly was. The staff were very friendly and helpful (as I arrived more than an hour before check-in, they stored my luggage for me so that I could do a little exploring of the university campus). My room had two very large, extremely comfortable double beds, an armchair (with footstool!) a desk with office chair and a large (but not huge) tv which worked perfectly. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were very good with a supply of both regular and decaffeinated coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some good quality free biscuits. There were ample plug points throughout the room, and these were logically situated near to where they would be likely to be needed, (no USB sockets though). There was ample storage space in a large wardrobe, both for hanging clothes and shelving for folded items. The wardrobe also contained a hairdryer, a safe and a small refrigerator, (which being sited wihin the wardrobe, the noise of the motor was not noticed). The windows on the third (top) floor could be opened (width restricted), and although there was no aircon, there were multiple ways to heat the room and a fan for cooling it. The bathroom was very large with a very good shower, both in terms of flow-rate and controllability. The restaurant and bar areas are pleasant, and although I did not take breakfast, the fish and chips in the evening were reasonable and very competitively priced. There are a number of bus routes from the university to Uxbridge town centre and tube station (Metropolitain and Piccadilly lines).

Minor things really: one of the bedside light switcheswas a bit "hit and miss", sometimes working, other times not. The work desk is not overly large to begin with, and with about 50% of the area taken up with the tea/coffee facilities it was a bit cramped to use a laptop.

We stayed one night after attending a wedding in the area and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely room. We really enjoyed the spa the next morning and the breakfast was great.

We were too early to check in prior to attending the wedding we were in the area for so we had to collect our keys from the campus security office after 10pm which was fine but is a bit of a walk from the hotel itself. Had we been given directions to the campus security office at the time of booking (directions were only provided as a physical diagram outside the door of the hotel) we would have known to direct our uber there first rather than ending our uber trip at the hotel and then having to walk to the security office and back.

This place gets it in the neck a lot because it's a bit weird. It's "at the college" - a bit like a conference venue. It's not what you would expect. First time I stayed I thought to myself "Hey... why isn't this just called Brunel College Campus Spa" hahaha - so again, if you dislike surprises, not for you. Heh. I have given it a high score, because it's a good place, I had a good sleep, there was a nice bathroom, so what's not to like?? I still have not tried any of the fancier facilities, so I will have to come up with an excuse to stay again.

Do not stay here if you hate kids & staff drawn from said complement of kids. I like them fine so np. Be ready to ring the bell at the barrier to get parking and so on - again not a big deal but "unexpected". Personally I would be more diligent about making clear this isn't just NEAR college - it IS the college. That is no problem to me (in fact if anything the opposite of that) but I think people will show up and worry they're in the wrong place. Plus there isn't much signage to reassure them. lol :)

A great place! Brilliant value for money. Stayed in the superior rooms which were really spacious, modern and clean and beds were really comfortable. Great selection of tea bags! Absolutely lovely reception staff (on check in and out), staff in restaurant (evening meal and breakfast). Staff we spoke to were mainly uni students, and were really professional and helpful. The hotel is part of Brunel University and situated on the campus. Felt really safe, and parking for our two cars was easy and free of charge. We didn't have time to use the spa, but definitely plan to come back! Thank you!

A large room, very clean, with all the facilities in excellent condition. Coffee, tea and milk available for free. The staff at the reception desk were extremely kind, ready to give me the information needed for taxi reservation, finding the way to a restaurant ...

The fridge was a little bit noisy, but I have to admit that I heard it because the area where the hotel is located is very quiet. I had no difficulty to sleep : the bed was very comfortable;

The room was exceptionally spacious and well equipped. Two double beds, TV, tea, coffee, etc, mini bar/fridge. Large wardrobe, hairdryer. The walk-in shower was very generous, and there were plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were polite,friendly and helpful. I was meeting relatives and friends for a family funeral locally. It was lovely to be together in such a great facility. I would definitely stay again.

Parking was quite limited, although there were plenty of spaces for disabled guests, which was good to see. We thought there should be two different prices for the continental breakfast as opposed to a flat rate for both continental and cooked.

Breakfast was good, though lots of the choices were running low or even empty 30 minutes before breakfast ended, which doesn’t seem fair. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Room service staff provided additional towels quickly when we noticed we didn’t have enough. The food in the restaurant during the evening was tasty. The room was a good size, but was extremely hot which resulted in broken sleep. Fans were provided but these did little to alleviate the temperature. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean.

See comments above. The radiator cover in our room was held together with sellotape and we found someone else’s earrings by the television.

The room was huge, making the value for money exceptional. There was space for me and my colleague to have our own double beds which is rare. Staff were friendly and everything was provided for in terms of tea, refreshments etc.

The hotel isn't very well sign posted so it is not clear where you need to go when coming through the university entrance - these signs could be bigger and the car park could be clearer signposted.

Impeccably clean comfortable facilities. Two double beds per room, plenty of space with spacious bathroom too. We were able to park for free directly outside the reception & it was flat, easy access for the less mobile members of the party.

The entire hotel was very warm which made us uncomfortable in the bar area. We had to open the door & windows in the bar to let some air in. The chambermaid promised us an electric fan for the bedroom & it was big enough to have flown & incredibly effective - big thanks to her. Thanks also to the maintenance man who sorted out the blocked sink & checked we were happy. 100% fabulous customer service!

Cheerful, very helpful and professional staff. I made two separate bookings for staying in three consecutive nights, staff has kindly helped to check and confirm so that I don’t need to check out and in for two times. I had dinner at the hotel. Good food and services. Thanks again.

We encountered a short-circuit on the second night of stay. While staff has kindly called the security to fix within 15 minutes, we were not sure when it was started as the food we put in the small fridge was at room temperature when we were back to the hotel. If daily change of towels, cleaning (at least clearing rubbish bin) and even refill of snacks and tea/chocolate powder can be arranged then it would be perfect. But staff offered help if requests were made. Thank you!
