Beautiful view, nice pool, breakfast was pretty solid compared to what others had said. There was an assortment of granola bars, pop tarts, packaged muffins, bananas and oranges, everything bagels (that were actually good) with cream cheese and butter. Hot coffee, hot water, cocoa powder, cherry juice - served from 8-9:30 on the terrace with a lovely view. The AC in the room kept things cool but the fan did not work.

Tons of mosquitos in the room, only so much you can do about it/its what you would expect but still not pleasant. My room did not have a bathroom and I had to use a shared bathroom down the hall, it was clean but not super clean. Bed was comfortable enough but not super comfortable. Value was phenomenal and the location was great. I'm quite fit so the steps weren't too bad, but it is a lot of steps from the front entrance if you are older/less fit/ have a lot of bags

Absolutely everything! Harry the owner and his wife are incredibly helpful and so friendly, we had great chats and they were very accommodating for all my needs. The whole place is very clean, amazing beautiful clean pool (like insanely clean!!!) and fantastic view from the patio! I booked an economy room with AC which was perfectly sized for me (but option to upgrade to one with a balcony too) I was happy with a shared bathroom as it was cleaner than other places where you have a private one! Honestly I never had to wait to use it and was very impressed at the high standards of cleaning. Plus little sweet touches of soap bars etc in case you forgot yours. The free breakfast was a great addition, good coffee and some vegan options which was appreciated! The location is perfect, situated just a 2 minute walk uphill from the main street and right next to the 99 steps! Honestly you should choose this place, I'll definitely be coming back and when you go say hi to Cornelius the philosophic gardener, he's a gem of a human! ☺️

Absolutely nothing, honestly this place is the best in St Thomas!

Location was great for my needs. Very close to the downtown and shopping for walking. Although the time I year i travelled meant that a lot of shops and stores were closed. It was also very central for driving as I was able to get to most places on the island within 15 minutes. I completely loved the views as well. Great way to start your day looking out on the harbor and and the lovely lights at night.

Breakfast is pretty basic carb starter. Mostly bagels and options with high sugar. I'm recently on a health kick so it didn't work for me, but there wasn't anything wrong with it. Some fruit was offered and the coffee was good.

Amazing location. Unbeatable.

Wifi in the room was spotty and mostly unavailable. The last night, there was a water outage in the neighborhood so the night was miserable, although it was not the B&B's fault.

First, the location is great. There are a lot of stairs but it was fine with us. We do a lot of walking etc. so it was no problem. The owners and management are all super nice and helpful with any questions or needs. The location of the hotel is very close to the town so there is opportunity to walk and get whatever you need - food, shopping, history. And the beaches are not that far away but not within walking distance. There is a nice pool there too. The rooms are pretty basic and there is a small balcony for most of them I believe. We were comfortable - air conditioning was good and although the rooms are not big there is shelving and drawers and hangers to put things away.

The rooms do not provide any sort of coffee maker or microwave but there is a small refrigerator. We love coffee early in the morning so we could have benefited from a coffee maker but that is just our preference.

There is a wonderful little pool. Both pool and breakfast area have a nice view over the town, and lovely landscaping. Room was very clean. Loved watching ships and yachts and glorious sunsets from my balcony. Quick walk into town (if you are ok with stairs!).

Location nice for exploring the town, but does mean you'll probably be taking a taxi or bus to get to beach/touristy activities. Breakfast is basic prepackaged items, but gets you started.

Absolutely the best staff at this facility. Every single one of them went out of their way to make sure that we were happy and taken care of. It is an older hotel, but the history is incredible and they keep it incredibly clean. Had a nice simple breakfast in the morning. Very close to the shopping/restaurants. They recommended a wonderful restaurant we visited after a long day of traveling. A very nice refreshing pool and the landscaping is beautiful. Again, the rooms are dated, but were very comfortable and clean. It was a perfect stay for our group of three couples. Can’t say enough about the wonderful staff!

There are quite a few steps. But honestly, when the staff saw us struggling with our luggage, they were quick to help us.

It is a cute quaint hotel in hillside with a great harbour view. Early morning chickens (hens) noises with Caribbean breeze from the waterfront was heavenly for me. The breakfast area was a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of red roof top and blue water with boats. The swimming pool surrounded by tropical plants and flowers was soothing. The location was the best as You could walk anywhere from the hotel to the historic places. The room was clean, great AC , Shower and the wifi worked fine. The owners and staff were wonderful. Sania and Saida extremely sweet and helpful, they gave us a ride to Bluebeard's hill when we were lost walking to find it. Mr Harry's prompt response to any concerns were appreciable. They are incredible host like a family.

Bed was comfortable. My suggestion if we get two pillows per person as our bed did not have any head board.

Views of downtown Charlotte Amalie and the harbor alone make a stay here worthwhile. The "Galleon House" is actually a group of structures nestled in the hills overlooking the city. I wouldn't characterize it as anything close to a resort. Instead it's definitely more of a rustic, raw-island-lodging type of place with simple, straightforward rooms and amenities, and adorned by raw vegetation, but I think that's what makes it appealing to many travelers. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, the waterfront, numerous ferries, and all the taxi services. If you're looking for laid-back home base from which to explore the islands this is a great option.

The continental breakfast was a bit lacking (more snack than sustenance), and downtown Charlotte Amalie can be a bit dull in the evenings especially if there are no cruise ships in port, but you can't fault Galleon House for that.

The house was right in town with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taxis were available and it was near the public "bus" stop. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and provided a lovely continental breakfast on an open patio with beautiful views. The pool was clean and available after a hot day of adventuring.

There were no walking distance beaches we found. Brewers Bay Beach had white sand, great snorkeling where we saw sea turtles and was only a short ride away.
