Room was exceptionally clean. Cute boutique feel. Breakfast was my favorite. The eggs, sausage and waffles really set me up for a good day. Staff were super attentive to our needs so no complaints. Room was quiet during sleeping hours which was super important to us. Occasionally you can hear a door slam shut, but nothing out of the norm for a hotel at this price.

Smokers beware coming back in from gazebo - when its cold - its very hard to get the key card in when its super cold, it like sticks or something. I had to walk around to the front one time. After a struggle got it to work the next couple of times though so not a problem just be ready for that.

I didn't interact with the staff much but they were friendly and professional. No complaints at all with them The room and the whole facility was clean, well kept and I had no issues with that at all. Microtel isn't a "resort", it's a reasonably priced motel for average kind of people who I count myself to be among. There were some working class guys there, which I also am, and other regular folks. Reasonably priced for reasonable accommodations. Breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles and cereal, fruit, milk,yogurt... so fair fare for breakfast. They were a little late Saturday with the eggs and sausage which was a little inconvenient for the working guys (welders) which was when I met them .

The motel seemed a little like a newer Motel 6 with a fancy exterior but again, not a resort but reasonably priced for reasonable accommodations. No complaints

I met some wonderful people during my 2 week stay. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was hot and fresh, it was peaceful, quiet. All around just a wonderful friendly, clean environment.

The elevator would often times not work but there is always the stairs. On my last day there I asked for a stay over til about 5pm, I was denied that. I figured they would accompany me being I had been there for 2 weeks and the amount of money I had spent but I ended up having to pay for another day.

The room was clean and all the staff was very friendly. They even had trays of cookies, veggies, cheese and crackers out one evening as it was Auburn's Homecoming and Parents' Weekend. We weren't at the hotel much, but overall it was a good stay.

Value. I felt completely price gouged. $900 for 2 nights at this hotel is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when you look online and see that when it isn't a game weekend or parents' weekend, the price is between $80-$90 per night. It is taking advantage of parents.

The facility was very clean and affordable. The rooms are spacious and really nice. The staff were very professional and helpful and the continental breakfast was fresh and good. I will definitely stay here when I come to Opelika, Alabama 😁 Thank you for helping me and my mom have a wonderful vacation.

Drove from Florida for the weekend and amazed with the hotel. The location is secluded and worth the price. Breakfast was 6-9, free wifi, free appetizers on some days & there’s a pool. Our room was clean/ bed and pillows beyond comfortable. Not to mention did not feel unsafe at anytime. Most definitely will be returning when I come to Alabama again.

Renovation/ work being done which limited parking in front of building for later hours of arriving. Still would definitely recommend this hotel!

I was on my motorcycle & got stuck in a storm so needed a room for the night. It was around 4pm. I did a map search & called a couple places & they were quite high & not as nice. I found this place on booking.com, was able to reserve it online & immediately check in at a great price. I had a queen mini suite for $80/night! I was a female alone & felt safe in the area. The breakfast downstairs was nice. Nothing fancy but a great perk! There was sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, fresh waffles, fruit, cereals & beverages.

It was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

I booked 3 rooms and they were in 3 different areas, with one room being on another floor and was told we couldn't get the rooms near each other because they were already assigned when we arrived. The air in our room 202 didn't work properly and we had to go buy a fan to cool off our room. We had to pay for each room separately and all were in my name.

We were hesitant to stay at a Microtel because reviews at many locations are poor. The review at this location were good so we took a chance. The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast, meat, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Bed was comfortable. We went on a football game weekend and we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel.

The name of the hotel is perfect--Microtel. The rooms are small. Perfect for a couple of people but crowded for four. We didn't spend too much time in the room so it wasn't an issue. There is no closet and there were no hangers in the room. Very little storage space in the bathroom. The ac leaked and water soaked the carpet by the unit. We put some towels down and that got us through our stay. We were told it's because the unit froze.

Clean with a friendly staff

Refrigerator did not work in the room, but they did replace it. Also, with Ring being on top floor, it was slow to cool down after a hot day.
