Holiday Inn Phoenix/Chandler, an IHG Hotel

Great location to be a bit away from the hustle and still within reach of plenty of recreational activities and dining if you're in a vehicle. Very friendly staff for the most part, and very accommodating. Clean rooms and all appliances working, spacious and comfortable living area. The options for a work place on a laptop in the room and in the dining area are nice. Breakfast buffet is well stocked with plenty of choices, and the few plate options are good to have too, though I didn't try them because I was satisfied with the buffet! Oh and love the juice options..

Vicky, is pretty much the only downside to this particular hotel. If you can manage to not see her, you'll have a pleasant experience overall! Also, the oatmeal I think would be better to have a hot water/milk dispenser & individual packets and the small area for the patios should be sweeped/hosed down more often.. there were spiderwebs. Didn't like an unstocked minibar, but I get it.. & no room service breakfast.

We find the front desk staff always friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were busy keeping the floors and front lobby clean and plants watered. We always enjoy staying here when visiting family.

This time our room was not in as good of shape as in the past. Was as clean as usual but there were ink stains on the carpet.

The pool area was large with alot of tables. Large lobby with a computer. The hotel is close but not too close to major restaurants and grocery stores. The room was clean and a great value.

I would recommend replacing the wall to wall carpet in my room with hard floors like fake wood with throw rugs for sanitary reasons. I can't speak for other rooms that may have them already. As I've been traveling during the pandemic I look for hard floors in the picture as it just feels cleaner. however the room and floors were clean and I was recommend your hotel by a friend.

Breakfast was ended at 9am, just as we were coming down to enjoy. We noted the weekend Breakfast time ending at 10 am not the M-F 9am On vacation, we tend to relax and not expect to read through daily updates fine print.

Breakfast ended earlier than expected. TV remote would change channels. Plumbing leaking but we were too weary to complain. Didn't feel like having maintenance visit or changing rooms.

Near to everything..great interiors and helpful staff

On our checkout there was nobody at the desk..we wanted a receipt printed otherwise we could have just left. However a lady from the bar went to get the person who was in charge and we got our business done.

Good location, friendly staff, excellent facilities but thought the covid cleaning was a bit out of date as no masks or social distancing is required in AZ

Fact you had to request basic services re cleaning, changing bed linen, replacing toilet rolls, re stocking coffee pods.

Staff, Room

We drove from California to Chandler for the pool and jacuzzi. Found the jacuzzi to be green in color and murky looking. So i reported it to the Front Desk, they sent Maintenance. He came and told us in 45 minutes it would be better. We stayed two additional hours, it never changed and we left without the use of the Jacuzzi. 😠 The maintenance of the pool area needs improvement, Also, the table that has the COVID sign was dirty, the black linen was full of dirt. The bottom of the pool had sticks and leaves at the bottom. Our room was great and staff was friendly!

The staff was AMAZING, as was everything else about the hotel! I thought they wouldn't have breakfast due to covid-19; but they had several options. Hot scramble bowls, breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, and danishes; all individually wrapped. Hot coffee and juice. I can't even say enough about the comfort of the pillows, so I slept like a baby. My room was huge, alot bigger than most.

My room key wouldn't wor... or maybe I should say it wasn't easy entry into my room. I had to keep repeatedly putting the room key in the slot and had to use the second one. I had to repeat that every, single time. It was annoying.

It was easy to get to. The room was large and clean. All of the staff I came in contact with were very nice and professional. They had a small area where you could by snacks and drinks.

There was an odd smell in the room. After a few minutes after walking in each time I did not notice it anymore.

Room was spacious and clean. The location was great for what we needed, and lots of nearby decently priced restaurants.

The breakfast was a bit misleading. When booking it said complimentary, wasn't told at checkin we needed a voucher or it would be 15 dollars a person. The front desk was helpful upon check out to make sure that we were not billed for the breakfast.
