Check in and out staff were very good. Hotel staff I saw in the building were friendly but two had uniforms that looked a little worn. Room was spacious and clean - bedding nice. Towels of good quality but the rubber mat for the bathtub looked stained and the outside mat looked old and was frayed. Parking was convenient with handy luggage carts. Elevators were spacious making it was easy to get in and out with the carts. Eating area large with nice sitting choices. Decor a little faded. Hotel location right off exit BUT a little difficult to find as it is off the 'beaten path' and had to get directions. Were told at another hotel "It is by the Hampton Hotel and kind of behind the McDonalds on Stockton Hill Road." Although I knew I could have found the address via an internet search, since I live out of the country my phone does not have internet and so I had to drive around a bit trying to find it. Nothing can be done about the location, of course. As a frequent national and international traveler, I feel you have priced your rooms too high. Kingman is not a highly sought-after vacation spot and there are no significant natural or man-made attractions to justify this price. Attractive bathroom shelving unit. However, it has one unfortunate design element in the location of the toilet paper holder - necessitating a hard arm twist to the left. Finally, there is one problem that needs to be addressed. Being in Arizona during the summer means showers are important for your guests' comfort. The shower head in our bathroom seemed to have a build-up of calcium which resulted in water being dispersed in only some of the holes. It meant our shower was a game of 'where is the water coming out from and how can I access it?' Quite disappointing. This needs to be addressed immediately. Sometimes the shower heads need to be soaked in vinegar and then brushed thoroughly with a toothbrush.

Fix hard water problem. Change location of toilet paper dispenser. Purchase new bathtub mats and, if necessary, rubber skid-proof mats for the tub. (I question the use of the rubber mats, however, as they cannot be thoroughly disinfected between guests.) Get better and larger signage for hotel's location. Reduce prices or offer incentives for seniors/frequent travelers/etc.

This hotel is very conveniently located just a half mile from 1-40 with a wide variety of food choices within a walkable distance. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was relatively quiet. They serve a nice hot breakfast with waffles and toppings including strawberry compote, warm syrup, even sprinkles. They also serve muffins, yogurt with your choice in an assortment of dried fruits and nuts for toppings, cereal, oatmeal, quinoa, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and sausage. I will say however, they do not serve bacon which I found unconventional. Great staff and housekeeping does come by daily unless requested otherwise.

The WiFi is terrible. Awful, actually. I was here on business and while I’m away from home I prefer to get a lot of work done while I’m away on business. Unfortunately, that was a difficult task with my lack of cell service and essentially unusable wifi. I wasn’t able to use my phone most of the time much less get work done on my laptop. They also do not provide lotion like most hotels so make sure to pack your own.

Friendly staff, easy check-in/out, great location, easy to book, newer facility, availability of nearby food/shops

The first room we were assigned to wasn't fully clean; we found crumbs on the desk and chair and the sheets were a bit questionable. But when we explained the situation to the staff, they immediately moved us to a new room without hesitation, and the new room was perfect! Overall the mishap didn't affect our stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel over any others in the vicinity.

coffee is great, beds are great, interior design is nice and breakfast is good.

the 2 super huge issues are: 1) pillows. They are as soft as a brick. The mattresses are great, everything is awesome BUT the pillows are killing you. The management MUST replace the pillows 2) the shower head has only 2 options: razor-sharp thin streams or razor-sharp one thick stream. It's impossible to have just a simple relaxing shower: you either feel 100 razors on your back, or 1 thick razor :) That's just BS :( so Pillows and shower head - change these 2 things, and the hotel is great.

Property is nice, parking lot has cameras so it made me feel safe even though La Quinta isn’t responsible for loss or theft. Room was clean but could’ve been a little bit cleaner in the restroom, the sink and shower. Beds smelled clean, towels clean. Very accessible to stores and restaurants great location. Staff was Great! very welcoming, I will be staying here for all my family visits.

I respect the idea of pets but I didn’t like the fact a dog was barking (not frequently) and scratching your company’s door in a room next to mine. I love pets but just keep in mind to vacuum and really clean the beds nice as possible. Not a complaint just a comment so the staff can keep up the quality.

La Quinta used to have a very good breakfast, but items on the menu seem to be there only to be able to advertise a morning "Breakfast". It's ok to charge $6 for a real bacon & eggs breakfast, I guess. I know expenses have gone up and including it in the room rate would make it uncompetitive. Need some creativity for a distinctive competitive advantage. Loved the roll-in shower, bathroom size, and room size for a disabled paraplegic. Very accommodating. Some La Quintas advertise a "disability" room but have a bathtub which is useless for one who cannot stand or walk.

The luggage carts have to go. The triangular design makes no functional sense. Automatic breaks and pros and cons. The older luggage carts were almost impossible to maneuver because of the wheel design but could accommodate a lot of stuff, and that part of the design, hooks and the large flat platform base worked better. It shouldn't be hard for a design engineer to develop something better. This is an above-average La Quenta, and when guests request a roll-in shower, please, please do not give them one with a tub.

The facilities were very clean. The staff were warm and welcoming. The location was easy to get to off and on the freeway, but quiet. Parking was plentiful. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, potatoes, breads, etc. It was more than just a continental breakfast.

This stay I was close to the elevators so noisy guests awakened me early. Walls are also a bit thin as I could hear the next door guest sneeze, watch TV, and snore. It wasn't too loud that I could not sleep, but it was a bit unsettling during waking hours.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Really liked the private bathroom. Baggage carts were available to help transport the baggage to your room. This is really handy when your room is on the 4th floor. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast hours should be extended to at least 10 am for people who want to sleep in a little later.

The staff was friendly, the room was very comfortable and large. The location was perfect for our needs.

We were told that breakfast went until 10am (it was not mentioned that is only on the weekend) so when we went downstairs at 9:45 there were no more eggs which was a disappointment. Also there were 2 thermostats in the room. One was on by the window and blowing but the other was on the wall - so we weren't sure what to do with that one.

The room was clean. All was good except it was a little on the small side for the money. Eating area was very nice. Biscuits and gravy would have made that a bit better. This hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants which was very nice since we were on foot. More personal on the check-in makes people want to return. That wasn’t quite the case, but it wasn’t bad. Just talk to folks. I know we like it. Thanks!
