We stayed at Rainbows End a week. The location is amazing! Our room was 15' from the lake: fabulous views, quiet, & comfortable. The fishing was wonderful - my husband caught 4 nice catfish from the dock the first day! The cabin had everything we needed. Quaint & rustic. The owner, Chuck, was extremely helpful & available. Great value too!

The only negative was the wind (we didn't know that late May is always windy on the lake), which is why we decided against a boat rental. Also, the shower was very small, & must have been on the same water line as the other cabins, resulting in being drenched with FREEZING water when someone in another cabin ran the hot water. Otherwise, great!!!

THE BEST FOR US WAS THE CABIN WAS LOCATED ON THE LAKE. THE VIEW WAS PERFECT. GREAT THOUGHT WAS GIVEN TO THE AMMENITIES THAT WERE AVAILABLE FOR A FISHING AND BOATING RESORT. I LOVE THE RUSTIC FEEL OF THE OLD MOTEL ATMOSPHERE. THE STUDIO WE USED WAS THE PERFECT SIZE. FOR MYSELF I GIVE THIS RESORT A 4 STAR OUT OF 5 REVIEW.

I CAN TELL YOU ONLY WHAT I WOULD DO. KEEPING IN MIND THE CABINS ARE OLDER. THE CURTAINS NEED TO BE WASHED OR REPLACED. THERE NEEDS TO BE CAULKING, SOME PAINTING AND SOME WOODWORK REPAIR. THE BATHROOM WALLS NEED TO BE WIPED DOWN AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR.

Perfect little stay and loved that we had the kitchen in our room at the Ponderosa suite. We could’ve gotten next door if we had known but now we do! Loved the fire pits, v-ball nets, horseshoe, and access to rental boats, fishing rods and the access to the lake. would stay here again!

No cleaning supplies to “clean” up afterwards unless we had to ask. Instructions said to but didn’t clarify. We did improvise using materials to sweep and clean what previous folks that may have missed but we didn’t mind. And the rock to “lock” the door. But despite that, still love love the place!

The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us and my dog. It spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped and beds comfortable. We loved being so close to the lake with plenty of picnic tables and BBQ grills and have access to boat and water bike rentals. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The loft area with the 3 beds was hot and a little uncomfortable for the boys to sleep. The portable air conditioner that was provided is old and didn't really work very well. They were fine and didn't complain.

LOCATION IS GREAT!!! The view is gorgeous!!! It’s very quiet, cabin was fully stocked… check in was very simple… Chuck & Stewart are the sweetest & make you feel comfortable!!

We’ve stayed several times , this time we rented next to office & it was very hot in there… we opened windows… there is a swamp cooler in living room window that really didn’t help & stunk a big… maybe ceiling fans in rooms, & more tvs… will I visit again?? Definitely but in the single room with a/c

Apparently my first review didn’t send so hopefully this one works.. My family and I stayed here in the summer our first time and loved it so we decided to come back for fall break. More like a retreat instead of resort so if you’re not down to earth enough to appreciate the basic necessities provided well you might want to find a place with room service. Rainbows end is cozy, clean, staff is friendly and Chuck (the owner) is easily considered a friend by the time you leave. Apple trees on the property were a hit this trip and we brought home plenty. We always enjoy the On-site boat rentals from kayaks to small pontoon boats. We will be back. This was a perfect little getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. It was better than we expected. We stayed in a studio cabin, which was perfect for the two of us: We rented a little four person pontoon boat and trolled for six hours, catching three rainbow trout and about nine yellow belly catfish. We can’t say enough great things about this place along with Chuck and Carlos who were very helpful.

The only suggestion we have is to get a 1200 Watt microwave instead of an 800 watt.

The cabin itself was very nice and clean. It was the perfect size for my family of 3. It’s just a very short walk away from the lake. The staff we came in contact with were all very kind and people friendly.

We didn’t know until later that we could’ve bought firewood from the resort cheaper than at the store. I wish there were more signs of such showing so (if there was we completely missed it). I would still go back!

You couldn't ask for a better location! This fishing resort is right on Rainbow Lake and they offer boat rentals to enhance the experience. The rooms are not fancy but very comfy, and have kitchens, and many outdoor grills and fire pits for outdoor cooking. The staff is always responsive and accommodating. This was my sixth (or so) stay there, so clearly I love the place!

The Rainbows End Fishing Resort is awesome! So much to do for the entire family. From fishiing off the shore to boating and plenty of water toys! We cooked all our family meals in our cabin or grilled (individual grills provided). Horseshoe pits, volleyball and plenty to do on site. There's fire pits to enjoy the evening and great for roasting marshmallows. Chuck and staff are AMAZING.🎉 We will definitely be returning... what a great AZ getaway.
