Old-school motor lodge with simple but comfortable room. Bed comfort was very good. Room very clean. Great location to walk to a few different restaurants. Plenty of parking, some with shade. Mostly quiet tho some larger trucks go by in the morning. Town is mostly well-kept old buildings... fun to walk through. Managers (owners?) were extremely friendly and helpful.

Has a small toilet (not elongated) that I no longer fit on, which is very hard for me to use when sitting. Offers "breakfast" which consists mostly of sweet starches. There was some yogurt and fruit. Coffee was good but creamer was powder.

I have stayed here before and came back because this small motel is in a quiet location about 12 miles off the freeway. I wanted to be able to sleep. There is nothing much going on here which is okay with me. The Sacramento River is just behind the hotel, and it is possible to walk or jog there if you want to stretch your legs after a long drive. A gas station convenience store is a few blocks away if you want cold drinks, coffee, snacks, ice. People at the desk are nice. It suits me.

Breakfast is coffee, orange juice, milk, a bowl of fruit, a brand of yogurt I don't eat, granola bars (I don't eat), and packaged pastry (I don't eat). No problem. I brought my own cereal. The ice machine was broken so no ice for my drinks. The sheets were clean but pilled and need to be replaced. I imagine the last two years have been very hard for small businesses. With less income, it is hard to fix or replace things. I would stay here again for the quiet location and the friendly people.

The vibe is much like a inn, a place of leisure, like motels used to be and so few are anymore. Motel keepers used to take pride in customer comforts— a lost art it seems but one in very good stead at the Riverside Inn in Colusa. My second time here, and as it’s a frequent trip up the I-5 for me, it will be a stay repeated. A few miles off the freeway well worth the distance.

Everything was great— right down to the old fashion key (remember those?).

I liked the ac unit in the room. I don't have an ac unit at home so it made me very comfortable especially in the summer heat. I liked the friendly service. Good people run this place. We need more people like them.

I don't have much to say about what I don't like, other than the tv isn't a smart tv. I wanted to connect my phone to the tv. But that's just something very minor. I meant to be on a vacation but be on my phone through the tv.

Let us check in a little early which was appreciated. Room was fine, parking adequate. Enjoyed the town of Colusa and proximity to Wildlife Preserves.

Water is terrible which owner warned us about. They have bottled water so you don't have to drink it but it smelled terrible and we would not even brush our teeth with it or shower in it. Not owner's fault but something folks should know. Bring some extra water!

Service and facility was great. The lady changed my room from 2nd floor to 1st floor immediately when I told I was disabled. Bathroom had disability handles/bars to help me get around. Very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I was worried about is the toilet in bathroom was loose & not securely attached to the floor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice, quiet location.

The bed was a bit firmer than I like. We were in Colusa for one night only. It is a lovely town but we were surprised to find that most of the eateries were closed on a Friday night! Ended up at a bar for dinner.

Awesome in every way! Offered me water. An apple as I was hungry and yogurt! So kind and accommodating. I enjoyed all the extra touches that you normally wouldn’t find at a motel at that cost!

Not much at all! Very good experience.
