Many of the staff - the front desk staff and the cafe staff specifically were lovely and the general manager was so great. After I had been told I could not extend the stay in our room he arranged for my father and I to stay an extra night despite the challenges. My father was dealing with some health issues - he was just out of the hospital - and they helped us in difficult times. Less importantly, we appreciated having a microwave in our room so that we could just reheat leftovers and the room was quiet without intrusiveness from staff.

I wish breakfast was served later and some staff were not very customer service oriented. But the ones who were really made up for the others - they were lovely.

Front desk staff. Upon my arrival, the front desk was training a new customer service agent. Immediately, they stopped to assist me with a BIG smile and warm welcome. Yes, the room was nice, the place was clean, and the restaurant had great offerings, yet, there is not anything like a warm and friendly hospitality greeting! Both ladies began conversing with me as if they had known me forever. I needed a notepad for my conference- they got one for me. I asked for trash clean-up service, and within 5 minutes, housekeeping was in my room. And the location, there are no less than 15 diners within a 0000.1-mile radius. Everything that a guest would need is near. I am not sure why this hotel, the Cove is not rated 5 stars!

If I could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the pool and the ambiance of the Cove.

Iur rooms were very roomy and large. There was a lot of seating, which was great. Nice and clean. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Cafe/Bar was great. Decent selections if you aren't super picky. Plenty of seating outside pool area to enjoy the weather. Fireplace area has great seating. Music playing in low tones all around the exterior.

The bed in our 1st room was not that comfortable. Mattresses need to be turned or something. Bed went in a downward angle at the headboard area. Had to sleep opposite way. 2nd room beds were much better. ( we had 2 rooms). Also, in the pool area, people not swimming took up all the seating, so we couldn't sit anywhere. They were just lounging and drinking and could have done that outside pool area, as there is plenty of seating options outside pool area.

Our room was very large and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. We appreciated how clean the hotel was. We also enjoyed the fire pit. We didn't actually use the pool, but the pool area was set up very nicely. Having a bar and restaurant on site was a nice feature.

The restaurant menu is very limited. It reminded me of a happy hour menu with chicken wings, jalapeño poppers, meatballs, and a few other options. What we tried was good, but it would have been nice to have some healthier options. After driving for 7 hours we did not want to get back in the car. Only fast food restaurants are within walking distance, so more options would have been appreciated. The breakfast menu had a breakfast burrito and egg sandwiches. The woman working in the morning was very willing to make any changes to the offerings you wanted.

Beautiful, hidden gem tucked away in Long Beach. Research many hotels, and everything about this hotel. Jeremy to it. Once I arrive, it was even better.

I loved everything about this property, the pool was very clean with plenty of space like cabanas lounge chairs are in a day bad. There were activities like a big, huge chess game, Sam, back toss, and other games. It was a nice big lounge area with a fireplace and an outside lounge area as well. Inside was a huge lounge area with a dining area where they serve food and also there was, a cocktail bar

Very conveniently close to downtown Long Beach - not necessarily in the safest - but the parking lot is closed off by several walls so it felt safer. The room and entire building was very modern and nice looking.

The walls are a little thin so at around 8pm on Saturday we could hear our neighbors talking pretty loudly. That wasn’t a problem later in the evening at all but I see how that could’ve been if we didn’t have the quiet neighbors we did. Turning the fan on at night helped drown out any noise from the outside for us.

The cove is by far the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed. The staff very nice and professional. Very spacious rooms refrigerator and microwave. Oh did I mention clean . Soft comfortable bee sheets and pillows . The nicest front desk forgot his ame vut hie was awesome The grounds pool immaculate. Enjoyed my stay . Highly recommend this place

The inexperience bartender but I assume she will get better

Every thing went well - I thought the people that worked there were very kind and nice. Very helpful and quick to get me a few things that I needed for coffee. I was very impressed with the staff.

Thought everything looked clean except the bed sheets.. I didn't notice until I went to bed late that first night, that although the bed was neatly made, when I pulled the covers down on one side it was all wrinkly on one side of the bed and smooth on the other.. I thought it looked really strange like someone had slept on the sheets the night before and they didn't change them. I was too tired to call and complain. I slept on the opposite side of the king bed the whole time. There was some kind of anniversary party there that weekend and it was very loud but it didn't really bother me.. by 10 pm it was quiet.

The absolutely fun loving madd compassionate and kind understanding staff!!! Sanjay is amazing!!! very accommodating!!! blessings & good karma & good luck to ALL the Bar /Restaurant Staff* etc. Front End /Lobby Receptionists!!! muah xo xo xo !!! (only 1 Lady Receptionist gave me the most difficult time just to check in whilst trying to struggle to breathe!!! (severe medical issues)!!! even AFTER I physically showed her MY ID!!! she made me show her my (Private!!!) Social Security Card!!! to Prove MY Identity! omg!!! informed her there should be a payment history in her POS system or whatever is used for the cashier/front end payments!!! other than that everyone including the sweet on point housekeepers madd LOVE Chanel D.!!!!

The Receptionist that continues to give me a disgusting attitude when I was struggling to breathe and quickly check in!!!

Very comfortable bed, great area very centric near stores and restaurants. Courteous front desk, although it was kind of wierd at check in. Confusing I guess as to where to stop for check in. Love the texting communication going on from ore check in to check out.

Confusing front desk location. If I must mention something. But overall everything went well.
