I don’t like how there wasn’t any security at the entrance parking lot. We walked to a close by restaurant for dinner. When we walked back to the hotel, there was a park car by the front entrance with bunch of guys (probably drug dealers) howling at a couple of ladies (which I believe that were also guests at the same hotel). We had to walk past the park car to get to the entrance. They were howling at me too while I was with my partner. We picked up our speed to get to the front. This area is so unsafe to walk at night or by yourself. Please considering the safety of your guests by hiring some securities.

The Hotel is an old hotel with a lot of outdated features but nothing bothered me since the room was spotlessly clean, value was great and location was a killer. I personally don't mind the "oldness" of hotels as long as they do a good job of maintaining and keeping it clean. This hotel exceeded my expectation and I'll be coming here again next time I come down to LA.

Location is great and the parking lot is nice as well. They offer a valet service which is nice. Rooms are cozy but a bit smaller than most. Bathroom in my room. Was big and spacious and very nice. Fair warning, take some flip flops or keep your socks on during the night because the tile floor gets really cold. Other than that hotel was great and they even have a Cafe and Chinese restaurant on-site in the lobby(just didn't have a chance to try either) .

My only gripe with this hotel was that the TV channels were all Korean channels not even local channels were available. But next time I stay here, and there will be a next time, I'll just bring my tablet to stream at night before bed

We stayed in a Queen room with two queen beds. The room was spacious, was cleaned daily, had a nice view over LA, and beds were comfortable. The hotel neighbors a quiet residential area, with grocery stores not being too far (I recommend Ralph’s and the one in Koreatown Plaza, both at S Western Ave). If you have to use public transportation, metro buses to downtown stop right by the property. The neighborhood felt safe (at night as well), location-wise it is somewhat in between all major touristic areas (Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Downtown, Santa Monica is a bit farther, etc.), so commuting either way takes more or less the same amount of time. Since breakfasts weren’t served due to COVID, the hotel staff provided us with dishes and bowls (upon our request), and a microwave was also available in a hallway. A lot of properties in LA for the same price are motels, which can happen to be less secure. Rotex has an underground parking available for guests as well as a parking lot in its backyard. It was overall a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and non-expensive stay in a quiet neighborhood, and do not mind not staying in the epicenter of the touristic area.

The property is located a bit far from the subway (a 15-20 min walk) and isn’t within a walking distance from any of the major sights. The furniture is not the newest. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbors if they are loud (we were lucky to have ours check out). Some small snacks (e.g. granola bars) could have been provided to compensate for the suspended breakfast buffet. We would have also appreciated more local tips from the hotel staff regarding what to see/where to eat in the neighborhood. We asked for such at the reception and were advised to google it.

Parking was under the building which was nice as there were homeless camped outside so we didn’t have to worry about them messing with vehicles. There was also armed security throughout our stay.

There was no iron in the room but housekeeping was nice enough to let us use theirs really quick. Although there was homeless, they were no issue when we’d go outside for anything.

Decent room price for safe location close to downtown LA. Spacious room with facilities such a fridge. High end Chinese restaurant on site, for dinner.

$15 parking fee (may be possible to use street parking for free) No breakfast (but reception desk made coffee in the morning, I did not ask for waffles)

Room was clean, staff was friendly. They were going through some renovations at the time but the stay was pleasant.

Very nitpicky, but the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. But the bathroom was still nice.

After walking around thé area thé best facilities were at thé hôtel such as thé snack cafe. I felt secure walking at night though most all businesses were closed at night. Visited thé Korea town Galleria and thé Korea town Plaza

Not caring To stay for an extended période.

I liked the nice and attentive staff. The rooms are super clean and presentable.

The location was bit of a way from the convention center but not too bad since there were stores and restaurants near by. The outside of the hotel has homeless people living there and it doesn’t feel safe, especially at night.
