The rooms and bathrooms are VERY clean, which was great. The area is generally safe (although quite dirty for someone not used to LA's low standards) and easily accessible by public transit (although LA transit is horrible).

The kitchen isn't super clean. Also it seems that some guests are living at the hostel. That is not a problem in itself but some of those guests give off somewhat sketchy vibes. I didn't feel unsafe as such but it did make me uncomfortable at times. Also, people smoke weed at the entrance - not really my favorite smell.

the location is great- walking distance to Wilshire Blvd and all the great Korean restaurants there! the facilities are large and kept clean. Many bathrooms available.

My only complaint is the beds- the blanket is very thin. Also since you may stay in a room with 5 other guests, not everyone wants the ceiling light turned on at night. They should invest in small reading lights for each bed, so as not to bother other sleeping guests.

The location is good and it is convenient to go anywhere in the center. You can live like your own residence. The kitchen, laundry and living are all in place. The room is also comfortable once you get used to it.

It would be great if there were curtains on the bed. Basically, there is no problem

Everything was very clean: bathrooms, toilets, rooms, kitchen. The garbage was taken out every day, and the showers were also cleaned daily. There is mini fridge in the room, so it was very convenient to leave your stuff in there. In every room you have a locket for your important items, but you need to have your own lock. The kitchen was well equipped, but I would add more cups there. People in the hostel were very polite and friendly. You could talk with everyone. If there was a problem, the manager was here in 10 minutes to solve it. There is a gazebo outside. Nice neighborhood. Definitely will recommend that hostel.

The location is safe. The grocery store was next door with public transportation in front of it. Staff was friendly.

The paid washer machine/dryer connections required quarters for payments. Quarters are hard to get. There was a notice of instructions above the washer machines about how to obtain quarters from vending machine, however, one day last week I tried to do my laundry, tried this method, but only received nickels and dimes. So I had to do my laundry at the coin laundromat around the corner for good. Also, WiFi would go out in the evening up until the next day. Other than the two negatives, the property is really amazing

I liked the clean place, how the staff was helpful including James and Veronica. The neighborhood looks safe and there's a big market just turning the corner. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. The bathrooms are very clean and in good numbers. All you need to find and get in is send to your e-mail. James promptly responds any questions by whatsapp, as I decided to extend my stay there for the reason above James immediately turned this possible.

The locker could be a little bit bigger, but this isn't a real problem, there's enough space to keep what is really valuable.

It’s really nice, people were kind and i didnt worry about leaving My suitcase in the bedroom when we went sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe staying in this hostel.

It’s kinda far away from everything, you need to rent towels, and there was a little mess under my bed, it wasn’t cleaned properly. Also it’s a good place to stay but at night there are some weird people in the neighborhood. But everything else was fine.

I seriously can’t say anything bad about this place, I only noticed 3 things mentioned below. I am a firm believer of beggars can’t be choosers. You get what you pay for yes but in my opinion, this truly exceeded my expectations. The place is clean, bright and well maintained, the landlord is responsive, the location is convenient and accessible; everything is walking distance from bus stops to shops.

1. Quiet hours were posted, but not everyone follows it. 2. Some people smoke green but since it’s a shared accommodation, it’s inevitable. 3. Don’t walk alone at night, it’s very dark around the area/neighbourhood.

The size and accessibility of the kitchen. A great taco truck is always down the street.

The excess second hand marijuana smoke. I have asthma. My asthma attacks were frequent, as a result.

Its exactly how it was advertised and described. The location is great. Walking distance from Wilshire/Normandie station. Pretty safe and clean neighborhood. The place itself is clean for a hostel standard. Bathroom and kitchen are always clean and well maintained

Great to have more bathroom. Guests sharing the room are respectful to not turn on the light to respect other guest resting, but the room is kept dark all the time, would be great if owner install individual light at each bed and curtain for added privacy
