Doubletree by Hilton Whittier

Room was very clean. Usually I never sleep under the cover, because it never feels clean enough for me. But this place was an exception.

The HVAC was not working properly. I turned on the heater, but It felt like the AC kicked on for a while before the heat pump valve was switched on to heat, I'm an HVAC servicer. Anyway that unit needs maintenance repair. No one came to clean my room. Don't know if that's normal or not, but I used up all my bath towels. And had to re-use them the next day. No big deal, but usually hotels I've stayed at, clean and replace towels etc. Just wondering.

Cleanliness, room size

The lobby is cold, the heaters in the room blow frerzing air right after the hot air the lighting is minimal only one side of the bed has a nightstand so the other person in the bed has his or her important items on the floor there wasnt a flor towel available we improvised and used a hand towel to stand dripping wet , the lobby or customer service just isnt welcoming a simple smile as you pass bye shriverring would go a long way

Clean and comfy beds, shower and overall room. Eessentials included are safe, iron and ironing board. Plenty of movies and other entertainment channels. Mini fridge came in handy. Gym , jacuzzi and pool a plus. Staff was very accomodating and flexible. We stayed in pool area past check out and front desk were very nice, noting our room was cleared and allowed us to stay. Great overall experience and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

A microwave would have been nice for popcorn or to reheat leftovers.

I love location in Whittier. Close to Uptown events. Hotel is spacious and pool area very tropical and clean. I love to watch the kids having fun in the pool. Most of the staff were happily accommodating but management not so friendly.

Do not appreciate lack of food availability and no microwave in rooms. If you eat breakfast after 9, you are out of luck. If you want to heat up your coffee in your room, no luck. You have to walk down to front desk area and use a tiny microwave in lobby.

The room was really nice and private of course, bathroom very clean and bright, great shower and tub with alot of extra towels and very accommodating front staff!! So nice and even got 3 cookies after we clocked in!! Totally would stay again :-)

There is nothing for me to dislike about this place!! The inly small inconvenience i could think of was there was not alot of handicap rails for my dad to walk around with bc he has a temporary walker but that is not their fault!! I do wish there was better accommodations for people who use walkers but that is something myself as the guest shouldve looked more into :-)

Check in was fast and easy, there was a bar available for guest. Pool was very clean and towels were provided. Even though the hotel seems well established and décor is a bit dated, it all still felt very clean and well maintained. All of the staff were very nice, from check in to grounds team.

The bed was a little hard for my liking but that is personal preference.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

I know that this hotel hosts outside events but it was very annoying not being able to find a parking spot when we returned to the hotel in the evening. We circled around waiting for someone to leave because there were no parking stalls available. Hotel guests should have designated parking spaces.

room was clean and staff was very friendly! If i travel again i will definitely plan to book more nights here or other locations at Hilton! 10/10

At around 2am through 3am we heard loud knocks on our door and we were really scared. we looked through the peep hole and did not see anyone but we were really scared especially since it was so late in the night.

Everyone at the hotel was so nice and so professional. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. I had a problem with the toilet but I called front desk and they sent someone right away and fixed it. There were excellent eateries in walking distance and the hotel has free parking. I will definitely be staying there again.

We've stayed here quite a bit and have always had a great experience. The staff are all friendly and super helpful and the rooms are very spacious.

It would be nice to have more than 2 towels and 2 coffee pods when you reserve a room for 3 nights for 2 people. We were able to get more when we saw the housekeeping on our floor.
