Spacious room, comfortable bed, warm heating, quiet location, great shower and bathroom.

Always refreshing to turn up to a hotel to find it is owner operated. This was a great check in experience with someone who clearly loved his environment, was happy to talk about his town, and give the best traveller advice he could. The room was lovely and spacious, warm and welcoming with fluffy towels, comfy beds and a unique alpine ambiance. Very close to the downtown district, a lovely place in a great spot. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Aspen to stay here.

The location was perfect for us. We used the bus to go to Maroon Bells, easily walked to restaurants, etc. Also, both staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. One helped us by looking up the directions through a nearby pass and printed a map for us and brought it to our room. The other talked us through the intricacies of transportation to Maroon Bells and even allowed us to leave our car on the property on checkout day while we went to Maroon Bells, which saved us a lot of money. Also, our room was huge, all the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large and immaculate, and we loved the little kitchen (although we didn't use it).

The property is humble, simple, and dated, but the staff, location, charm, and (relative) value are exceptional. We were warmly and pleasantly greeted by Jim who efficiently checked us in, spent causal time getting to know us, and cheerfully pulled out a map and highlighted a number of sites and establishments in keeping with our purposes and preferences. The kindness and helpfulness of Jim (and all the staff) persisted to the very end of our stay.

The convenient location also exposes the property to road and construction noise. The available earplugs in the room might be helpful for those who wish to snooze a bit longer.

Location was great. Room was great and the kitchen and bathrooms all nicely remodeled. Room was light and airy with a high ceiling. Very comfortable and roomy. Was really nice that there was coffee in the office and snacks we could help ourselves to.

No AC. I was hot during the night. Would've been nice if there were a common area to sit. No breakfast but that was okay. Coffee service was nice but wish they had half and half or cream instead of powdered creamer.

Clean, roomy ski lodge.. walkable to town and the free town shuttle/bus “RFTA” that serves Aspen/Snowmass (airport too!) .. it drops off and picks up right on the next block so we didn’t even need a rental car. (RFTA shuttle comes like every 8 minutes).Staff was cool. Coffee, snacks and oatmeal packets available in office/lobby around the clock. Room wasn’t super fancy but clean and spacious, cool skis on wall, comfy beds, it met our needs perfectly. Short, beautiful walk to the heart of Aspen. We can’t wait to come back!

just to note for anyone who struggles carrying luggage / no elevator.. - you’ll have a few stairs to deal with- we were fine as we could carry our stuff no problem

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a very large room on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable. There is parking just outside and it is walking distance to Aspen town center. Rates are far cheaper than most other accommodation in Aspen. If you want a clean, comfortable room for the night, I would definitely recommend Tyrolean Lodge.

The staff was incredibly kind. They were willing to ship us an item we left behind. I also appreciated the kitchen with fully stocked kitchenware and the breakfast snacks in the lobby. I would recommend to anyone going to Aspen!

There was no AC which is surprising for the high rate (even though it is lower than other options in Aspen)

Convenient location right on Main St., everything within walking distance, option to choose which floor you want to be on, vintage ski-themed decor, property was quiet. Ear plugs provided in room. No A/C but nice big fan in the room and could open the window for fresh air. Shampoo and body wash dispensers in shower. Staff provided us with restaurant recommendations at check-in. It was nice to have dishes and silverware in the room when getting take out. Most reasonably-priced stay in Aspen. Easy check-in/check-out. Granola bars and coffee provided in the office.

Beds could probably use a mattress topper or a mattress upgrade, but we were tired from hiking/backpacking and didn’t really care. Limited parking on premises; have to snag it when you see it. Otherwise there is street parking. We parked about two blocks away one evening. Weak wifi at times; tried different areas of the room.

Location, old time ski lodge feel, and staff. We had a miscommunication through Booking.com and the room was not as portrayed. Jim, the manager took charge and worked with Customer Service to make it right. It’s really nice to see that making the customer is a principle at Tyrollean Lodge. Thanks for a lovely stay in a beautiful part of the country.

The room was very nice and cozy. I booked a room for 5 people, which was perfect for us since it had 2 queen beds, and 1 full bed.The room also had a mini kitchen with dishes, electric stove, mini fridge and microwave. Friendly staff, room exceeded my expectations. Walking distance from Downtown 10/10 Will definitely stay here again in the future
