Days Inn by Wyndham Cortez

Excellent sized room...we had a suite with two queens in one room and another in the main space. Two tvs, lots of storage and space. Very comfortable stay for our family of five. Breakfast was pretty decent too. Also right off the highway so the closest hotel to the Mesa Verde entrance ten minutes up the road.

The water temperature was pretty inconsistent in the shower and tap making it hard to adjust, and there was no plug in the bathtub so my young child couldn't take a bath. But I understand water is not plentiful so harder to manage up there I'm sure.

The room was the type of studio. Very comfortable good-sized fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and table for two. AC and two full-size beds were perfect. A Mexican Restaurant is a few feet away with excellent food and drinks.

Trying to open the bathroom door was a bit hard. It looked like the door just had a recent touch-up, and the top part of the door would become stuck, and we would have to tug

Fantastic breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Corteous friendly staff.

Outdoors walkways are carpeted. The carpet must not have been replaced in years and need to be replaced. I suggest a different material. Original room was located in the back. The back is scary and I didn't feel safe. Luckily, the hotels staff were we able to relocate us to the front with no problems. I recommend building a fence that separate the hotel's property with the neighboring property in the back.

We stayed here after a day touring Mesa Verde. The room was clean, linens clean and in good shape, breakfast was adequate. Ample parking space. Staff was nice. It's a decent place to stay especially if your only using it as a place to rest.

Currently still fine but it needs a bit of an update as it is already showing its age. The room was in a curious configuration; the “outside” door leads to a small foyer which has 3 doors for 3 different rooms, one of which was ours . It’s very cramped thin walled foyer. You hear other guest opening and closing their doors as well as their conversation.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff! Feels very comfortable, clean and relaxing in the room. Breakfast was just right and very good ( they serve boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, toast with jelly, wafers, pastries, fruits, juices and coffee)! Pool and jacuzzi was clean and kids really enjoyed!

Coffee was watery. Also rooms not been clean 2 days we stay there. Front desk staff was nice to give us extra towels and personal care products.

Pros: clean room, hot tub & pool including kiddy pool. Cons: very small room. No place to put luggage. Had to walk around the luggage that was around the bed. No place to hang clothes. Bathroom had no place to put toiletries while washing. Sink had a leak. Good room for an overnight stopover but too small for longer period.

Very nice setting and quiet. well away from the road in a large grassy area. a lot of the motels in the town were right by the main road. nice pool and hot tub - both very clean Good restaurant in town - Tequillas

Couldn’t go in pool the next morning before we left as the pool doesn’t open until ten. Wi fi was weak at times Booklet in room said eggs were included at breakfast but there weren’t Ny

We loved the area, the staff, the amenities. It was right next to a wonderful restaurant (Familia Mexicana) and it made our trip. This was our last stay on an eight day road trip to Dallas TX, and it was by far the best. Clean rooms, great staff.

My only complaint was that the bathroom was very small, and we ended up with two conditioners and no shampoo (not a big deal, but I lost my shampoo on our trip so I was a tad bit bummed).

Easy to find, right off of the freeway. Room was somewhat dated, not nice like the picture of the room when I booked. It was on ground level, which I requested. The room seemed somewhat clean. The grounds were very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful and relaxing. Reception was very, very polite and helpful.

The only negatives: The room did not look even close to the room on the Booking website that I thought we were getting. We also were a little surprised to find a pair of women's shorts and panties behind the bathroom door. Obviously, housekeeping did not clean the bathroom appropriately. My granddaughter (12) was not impressed. :(

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. An older place, but the rooms were large and roomy. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean. The pool was great! Outdoor pool, we swam in evening shade. So relaxing. Great hot tub. Great breakfast..."continental" but not really. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, and a variety of yogurts, cereals and breads. Pleasant surprise!

My grandkids didn't want to leave! 😉
