I loved the central setting of this hotel. My third-floor room faced north, with a great view over the neighboring rooftops. Great air circulation, so the room smelled extremely fresh. No traffic noise! Bed was amazingly comfortable; the A/C unit was very quiet and efficient. The room did not include a chair, but front desk staff promptly delivered one upon request. In-room Nespresso coffee service was great to start the day. The very best part of staying at the Armstrong was the free bicycle rental; I covered many miles on the city's beautiful bicycle trails.

The Armstrong charges guests $20 to park a car in their lot. This additional charge was not disclosed when I made the reservation. Luckily, Fort Collins has great free street parking nearby. A room here cost far more than any of my previous stays, but it was still the most affordable downtown option in the region.

Loved the comfy bed and window curtains that blocked out light. Loved the extra details—air plugs, accessible plugs on wall, next to lamps, loved the separate sitting room, loved the decor and old world charm. Loved how your front desk woman came to the room twice with wine glasses (came back with a third and last wine glass that was available) and a wine bottle opener I requested—Thank you!! I love your location and will probably back to stay at The Armstrong because of this. Love the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel and restaurant staff within the building. 👍👏

The coffee maker was broker where the water leaked out of where it was supposed to be. I tried twice filling the machine. Told the front desk and rather than them saying they will check on the problem, told me that I made a mistake in filling the coffee maker with water. Please do not blame or assume your guests made any mistakes before checking. I can tell you that the mess of water leakage is already indication enough. You have at least six steps in making coffee in small print on a small signage. The hotel should print larger instructions. Please make yourself a cup of coffee in Room 223 as soon as you wake up, without your glasses, in dim lighting because the coffee maker is set inside a shelf cabinet. it all looked good though.

There were several barking dogs on the same floor of our hotel room. I realize there are laws protecting dog owners and giving dog owners the right to bring their animals, if they have the proper documentation. But there should be certain rooms or floors for pets. At the very least, the front desk should give hotel guests notice, as they check in that they are near a pet occupied room. Dogs were yapping and parking all night and at times, during the day.

From the time you enter the facility you are greeted with a "Hello"! and a smile from everyone. Everyone knows their duties and are informative/knowledgeable of Ft. Collins locations for entertainment, restaurants, shopping, etc. All staff members are professional in every aspect of hotel hospitality. I highly recommend the Armstrong Hotel as a place to stay when visiting Ft. Collins, CO. I will always stay at the Armstrong Hotel whenever visiting Ft. Collins.

This was our third stay at Armstrong this year. Fort Collins is the halfway point in a very long drive between my home and my mother's and it's always such a great place to recover and lay our heads. The staff is really accommodating and generous. The rooms are spic and span and the location is amazingly convenient. We actually don't tend to leave the hotel though as we are stopping through on a long drive and just want rest. There is a restaurant and bar on site. It easy to travel with our dog. We enjoyed a lovely chilled crab louie salad and some shrimp cocktail last time with our little pup next to us on their comfortable patio. In the morning, we have to hit the road fast so I order a breakfast sandwich and coffee from Mugs downstairs. If you actually are visiting Fort Collins, the location can't be beat. They also offer parking as well.

There's not a lot I don't like. It can have some noisy moments as you can hear people walking around upstairs but nothing too bad, especially for a boutique hotel in the center of the city. They also offer adorable ear plugs with cases that say, "Silence is golden"

We really liked this hotel! Located in a one hundred year old building it couldn't be better located! Charming, clean, with a friendly and professional staff we were very satisfied. All of Old Town is within easy walking distance including shopping, restaurants, and bars. We hiked three different trails just a few minutes from the hotel. The hotel also offers free bicycles too. Parking is free. Fun place!

Location was awesome - right in the heart of downtown. Paid parking ($18 per night) was available and needed. The hotel was beautifully decorated, similar to other boutique hotels we've stayed at on other trips. Unique rooms - and SUPER comfy beds and pillows! In-room coffee was easy and delicious. We ate at Blue Agave down the street and then went back to the bar in the basement of the hotel - Ace Gillett's - such great cocktails and music! Just sorry we couldn't stay longer but we'll definitely be back - our new place to stay when we come to Ft. Collins every year!

Fort Connins is still charming. The hotel is very nice and the combination of old and new decorating in very aesthetically pleasing. The beds are comfortable. The in-room coffee is EXCELLENT! We are at the restaurant and the food was very good also. The staff were all super friendly!

It was all excellent! Free parking would have been better, but we were able to park for free a short distance away.

Let me just say that this hotel his a hidden jem. I will definitely be back beyond a shadow of a doubt, and I will tell everyone about it as well. It reminded me of the old days the way hotels used to take care of their customers.

I liked everything about this hotel. I have nothing bad to say about my stay at all. Seriously I can't think of a single thing I didn't enjoy. I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves it.

This property was very nice, especially if you are looking for something different from they typical chain hotels. Decor was art-deco/ eclectic. The staff were super friendly. Parking was easy considering it’s in the Old Town area. I also loved how dog friendly the hotel is!

We had a room with a king sized bed. It had a small table and 1 chair. We had our dogs with us, so we had to eat meals in the room to not leave the dogs unattended. Having 2 chairs would have been nice.
